I'd actually include the line up from their Use Your Illusion albums, too, as it changed between that and AFD (Steven Adler had developed a serious drug poblem and was kicked out of the band). I actually love the UYI albums a little bit more than the first album. I see what you mean, though. Axl's literally the only one left from the original line up (although Dizzy Reed has been there since the UYI days), and after watching some of their performances from Rock in Rio last year on YouTube, the difference is definitely there.
