Bret Easton Ellis is my favourite modern author so anything he does I'm going to be watching. And James Deen? wub.png

And Ian Somerhalder, who has previously worked with Bret on The Rules of Attraction, where I first fell in love with his sexy, would actually make me see whatever movie they can muster from that horrible "book."

Yeah I don't quite get why Ellis loves the book so much (and he genuinely does--his insistance on being involved in the movie is not some sort of lark or post modern whim). I like a lot of his writing a *lot* so I'm intrigued, even if I think he's losing it more and more in his personal life (or maybe he's just one of those people who needs to stop tweeting--I suppose I could just stop reading about his boyfriend's habits, always refered to by his age, etc, but...) Somerhalder was a highlight of Attraction.

I'm genuinely a little surprised by all the James Deen love (or even knowledge) whenever this movie comes up, LOL. I mean I don't pretend to be unaware of porn, but I barely even know the names, let alone straight porn stars.

Who is LD?

I see Lindsay Lohan is inching ever closer to that career in hardcore porn I predicted for her over 5 years ago.

I wish I could say she's a [!@#$%^&*] up because of the drugs -- sadly I think it is her entitled attitude and need for a fame at all costs which has brought her to this.

And I would watch Ian Somerhalder in anything -- even 50 Shades of Grey.

I like Lena Dunham (and I think it's a bit below the belt to insult her looks--she's no Hollywood beauty but she's far more attractive than a million of similar "uncomfortable comedy" male actors). I don't really know 50 Shades of Grey, and that won't change anytime soon, but isn't the female lead meant to be a bit more average?
