September 23, 201114 yr Member While Person's of Interest's ratings weren't bad, I'm sure CBS was expecting better. It didn't get any better that what CSI got there last year, which they moved. I love POI and hope it improves, but I have feeling if this only does "okay" and it's Monday lineup remains stable, we'll probably see CBS expand the comedy block to 2 hours next season. I agree...and CSI on Wednesday night had a 7.8 rating I believe. Not a big difference from the 8.3 POI got. I have a feeling POI will drop to that 7.8 rating CSI got. I think CSI will hold steady at the 7.8 range or a little bit higher.
September 23, 201114 yr Author Administrator The Big Bang Theory beat it though....although I thought the show was hilarious last night.....and Criminal Minds beat it too on Wednesday. I can see the ratings dropping. I just didnt get the show...it was just too boring for me to follow. I am really surprised by The Mentalist low numbers. I expected at least a 9 rating. It looks like comedies are what people are watching this season followed by the same tried and true....NCIS ...NCIS Los Angeles and Criminal Minds. Of course TBBT beat it. You say that like POI was suppose to beat it. LOL Those shows are already established. Shows take time to grow. I believe it took years for NCIS to become a hit and we know CSI didn't start off strong too (because it was on Fridays). Same with How I Met Your Mother - they were "on the bubble" from the first couple of years. Now they just hit new highs. Exactly. The show has been talked about non-stop ever since Simon left AI. The Voice had a different element that attracted me to watching it. The only good things about The voice is the blind auditions. I don't get the battle rounds with the coaches choosing between members of their own team, who sing the same song? Out of The Voice, Idol and X-Factor, X-Factor is the better show, especially once it gets to the live performances.
September 23, 201114 yr Member Glad for Big Bang..it was really funny last night. Surprised The Mentalist didnt do better. Person of Interest did just blah ratings..and Charlies Angels ratings were mediocre. The X factor stayed steady...... Charlies Angels was put in a bad time slot and that's what is going to kill it. ABC doesn't seem to care they just keep putting shows there and they end canceling them. Now Wednesday at 10pm shocked me cause they haven't had a show hit that high for a few years.
September 24, 201114 yr Member http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/09/tv-ratings-a-gifted-man-debuts-well-nikita-matches-series-low.html CBS wins the night. A Gifted Man premieres well and Blue Bloods is the number 1 show of the night. I'm happy CBS won the night. I watched all 3 shows and thought AGM was pretty good.

September 30, 201114 yr Member The Bing Bang Theory sure is starting off strong this season. I am glad because I love the show. Person of Interest is a failure....I thought last night's show was better than last week but the ratings tumbled. The Mentalist is doing very well either...their numbers are good but not anywhere they have been. Charlie's Angels...missed it last night...forgot it was on.....going to be cancelled soon....it lost in the 18-49 category to a telenovela..."Teresa". Hated the new show ...How to be a Gentleman.....I see no one liked either....[!@#$%^&*] my dad says did better in that timeslot.
September 30, 201114 yr Author Administrator I love how you say Person of Interest is a failure, in week 2, just because you dislike the show. LOL
