Every time i see his penthouse or apartment i see that staircase and things that remind me of Sonny's old place. I beleive they might have taken that place down completely and are using the parts for Johnn's place. I'm sure we all remember the penthouse that Sonny had (it's suposed to be right across the hall from where Jason still lives.) He moved in in 1995, before that Sean and Tiffany Hill lived there for a few years (i don't know when they moved in.) Luke thought it was hysterical that Sonny moved into the penthouse that the old commish lived in. Sonny lived there when Stone died and then stayed right up until a few years ago.

Did anybody else notice? I know it's not the same set, but i am convinced they used the stairs and some other things from Sonny's old place for Johnny's. I know they've done stuff like that before. Remember Ryan's Hope bar became Wanda's set on OLTL for several years after RH left the air. When Wanda left in 1994, it slowly fadded away.

Yep I so agree. The stairs are the same as are the window. Only thing is that the door to the penthouse is on the same side as Jason's (left) where the door to Penthouse 4 was on the other side (right)

Thanks, I know it's not suposed to be the same penthouse at all but i can clearly see it's just peices from sonny's old one redecorated and put together for Johnny. Sad because someone else could have moved into Sonny's old penthouse, even Johnny, just to keep it alive since it had been on the show for probably almost 20 years before Sonny left it. I beleive Sean and Tiffany moved into it together in the late 1980's around the time they married.

quartermainefan pointed out in the DL Brock thread over in Video bash that D.L Brock and Bobbie also lived in this set in 1985 (and Brock was murdered there)
