"Hotel Cæsar" is a Norwegian soap series, and has lasted from 1998 and is still running. It's shown on Norwegian TV 2 Monday to Thursday 19.30. The show is about a hotel (obviously...), and both about the family that owns the hotel (Anker-Hansen) and the employees at the hotel. I watched some of Hotel Caesar on Youtube and it seems like kind of a strange show - I was shocked to see in the middle of fairly mundane stories, the beginnings of a threeway, and a (clothed) sex scene which seemed to involve thrusting and orgasm. All with this Jens August, who looked pretty hot.

There's also this...bizarre and strangely hilarious scene.

Well, there you have Charlotte Not the best actress in the show, in my opinion. But, I haven't seen this period of the show, so I don't know what's on in that clip.

I wounder, did you see old clips or clips from the recent years? The show changed a lot in the period 2005-2007. From 1998 to 2005 the show was ok, 2006 was a lot of sex and violence (to attract younger viewers), 2007 was, in my opnion, the worst year in the show's history, 2008 some better, 2009 some better than 2008 and the same with 2010. So, let's hope 2011 will be even better!

And, Jens August, yes. Well, right now they're running a story on him being allowed, from his wife, to cheat on her - if he just tells her who it is.

I guess they really don't do the explicit sex scenes the way they used to - this was the perfect time for one, a forbidden affair with his son's girlfriend, and yet you get very little at all.

His son seems like a bit of a loser to me, although maybe because of that weird emo vibe. He doesn't look that much younger than his father. How long has he been on the show?

Goggen was borned in 2000 and was in Hotel Cæsar until 2005, when he was sent to a boarding school in Switzerland. In 2009, he made a comeback, but now as 17 years old.

Yes, Jens August is definitely one of the best characters in Hotel Cæsar today. And in a way, it's a little strange that we haven't seen any "real" sex-scenes between him and Vanessa, but I can think of a few reasons why. Firstly, the series must keep in mind that a lot of (smaller) children do watch the series (this wasn't an issue before 2006, but since then there has been much more focus on this). Yet, they do have shown sex scenes after that, so it's not just that. I think the main reason is that Vanessa is so young, and then I think that many viewers believe that Hotel Cæsar has "crossed the line" with just have them having an affair, and I think a lot of people would react in a negative way if they also could see them having sex. But I don't think that would've been negative, it would've been great in my opinion. But kudos to them for just making this story!

Well, yes, Goggen has been quite of a disappointment to be honest. But I do think he has improved in recent months (except for the "russe"-stuff...). Hopefully, this improvement remain. And the marriage with Hermine makes me believe that!

And, finally, I'm really looking forward to the season finale on Thursday. It's "confirmed" that there will be a disaster-cliffhanger, but they haven't disclosed what kind of disaster it is (but I've read some spoilers, so I know a little about it, but I have tried to keep away from spoilers so I don't spoil the finale...). There are only four days left!

She's supposed to be 17 years old (she had her birthday this week), but the actress is 22 years old.

Hermine Rosenkrantz (or now "Hermine Rosenkrantz Anker-Hansen") is the daughter of Hans-Herman Rosenkrantz, who died last year. Hans-Herman owned 43 % of the shares in Anker-Hansen. Hermine inherited these, but Eva Rosenkratz or/and Cathrine Hove Rosenkrantz (Cathrien and Hans-Herman married just before Hans-Herman died) manages these shares until she's 25. Right now they both manages one half each, but now as Hermine and Goggen married these will change (due to some sort of clause in Hans-Hermans will).
