I don't think I've told you her story, but I've posted som clips with her earlier. I'll try to explain a bit:

Cathrine started in the series in 2008, along with her sister, Cecilie. Her father, Tom Ivar, was already in the show when they arrived. At the end of the same year, Tom Ivar became ill. He needed a bone marrow transplantation, but Cecilie was not a match. There were, however, Cathrine, but she wouldn't tell Tom Ivar that. When she changed her mind and was going to tell him that, he had already discovered it and was angry at her. It all ended with Tom Ivar falling down the stairs in the lobby of Hotel Cæsar:

The following year, Cathrine steps out of the company and takes a number of hotels with her and starts her own hotel chain, Black Diamond. She gets Jens August, seeking revenge over his family, along with her as CEO. Later he returns to his family and the Anker-Hansen company, and after this Cathrine tries to buy 50 % of the shares in the Anker-Hansen company as "revenge for they having trated her badly" or something like that, I can't recall whether it was given a reason why she wanted to buy the shares. When she later loose the shares, she marries Hans-Herman. When Hans-Herman dies, Hermine inherits the shares he owned (he rescued earlier the Anker-Hansen company from bankruptcy by buying 43 % of the shares in the company), but Cathrine controls the shares until Hermine is 25. Later Eva takes control over the shares, before Hermine finally share the shares so they manage half each. Cecilie, her sister, dies in the fire at Ankerseteren at the end of 2010:

She again promises revenge over the Anker-Hansen family, blaming them for her sister's death. She begins a relationship with Arnfinn, and then she discover she is pregnant. She at first believe Arnfinn is the father, but later she realizes that the father is Pelle. She tries to empty the company for money by using too much money on the construction of the Fugleholmen Eco Retreat, but it's later revealed by Juni. She also rented Lasse/Henrik, the luxury prostitute that wondered Juni. She tries to marry Arnfinn, but when he learns what I've written above, he refuses to marry her. And then the things in the clips above happened.

Well, yes, I like the character. Still, I think it's good if the character makes a break, and eventually return later. In addition, the character defects a better explanation on her hatred of the Anker-Hansen family.

Eventually Catherine managed to defuse the bomb 3 seconds before it would explode. But the season openening, which will be shown on TV Monday (but the episode is available online already), still had several dramatic moments. For example, this is when Catherine runs over Hermine!

The season opening was very good, I honestly loved the episode!

Here is the complete season opening:

It's so ... perfect! I do understand that every episode can't be as good as this one (the budget isn't that large...), but it's a really great start of 2012!

These two promos for the season opening is airing these days at TV 2:

Storm started in the show in 2006 along with his siblings and their parents, but the parents died shortly after in a car accident. Storm was a rebel for about a year before he "calmed" down, especially after he discovered that Georg Anker-Hansen is his biological father. He and Vilde were together several times, and she gave birth to Gjert, and they both thought Storm was his father. But this wasn't correct. Later Vilde is pregnant again, but everyone thinks she abort the child. In her last scene, we see that wasn't reality. So Storm might have another child in Brazil, or it might be Jens August's. Storm and Cecilie Dahr Hove starts a relationship, and they are very "on-off" in a couple of years. He has also worked for the Anker-Hansen company and Restaurant Cleo, the restaurant at Hotel Cæsar, but after Cecilie dies in the fire at Ankerseteren in 2010, he leaves to join the French Foreign Legion (but says to Jens August that he should tell the family that he went to Bali).

This was very briefly told, but I've written the main events here.

    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
