Members SFK
Glenn Shadix died after suffering a fall in his Alabama condo where he hit his head. He had mobility issues and had been using a wheelchair. There's some very interesting stuff about his life and upbringing in AL on his site. He went through gay aversion electrotherapy as a young adult. He relocated back to his native AL after 30 years in Hollywood and purchased an historic Queen Anne style home which he restored. He left one day to return to it in flames. As he watched it burn, he repeatedly said to firefighters, "I've lost my dream." I hope his final days were happier. Thoughts and prayers with his family and friends. http://www.glennshadix.com
Members DRW50
That's sad. Sorry to hear. A lot of gay men, especially of an older generation, often have such harrowing stories to tell.
