Venice The Series: First Promo, Thoughts?

Part of it looks okay and well-shot. The other part looks like crap GL [!@#$%^&*] to hook the Otalias, who will watch anything. Lesli Kay better watch out; she and CC looked hot together.

Poor Hillary Smith appears to be paired with Jordan Clarke in some sort of Dirty Hitler disguise. I guess he is Homophobic Dad, judging by the giant cross? Wow, I've never seen that before.

I don't trust these websoaps. I cast a very jaundiced eye towards this and that "Gotham" thing. I'd like for them to surprise me but so far I see no actual substance. I think they'll end up doing the GL model of storytelling again, for lack of budget, and that's not a good show. I support the concept of independent soaps, absolutely, but putting concept into practice has yet to work and so far this just looks like an Otalia vanity project with a lot of bluster but as of yet, no meat. Again, I hope they surprise me.

Crystal Chappell = Gina (the lead character)

Jessica Leccia = Ani (Gina's ex I believe)

Jordan Clarke = Gina's father (Colonel something)

Hilary B. Smith = Guya (Gina's aunt)

Galen Gering = Owen (Gina's brother)

Gina Tognoni = Sami (Owen's girlfriend)

Lesli Kay = Tracy (Gina's love interest)

Nadia Bjorlin = Lara (Ani's love interest)
