Members Sylph
Since I see many members still have blank, non-descript, bland templates instead of actual images, perhaps this little guide might help. (Or perhaps people just don't want to use them.) Anyway, to change your Personal Photo so that it appears, for example, if your among the top posters in that list on the right of your screen, you should do the following. 1. Click on your username in the top right corner of this message board. 2. Go to My Settings. 3. Click on the Profile tab. 4. Now click on Change Photo in the list on your left. 5. Click Browse and find where the pic you want as your Personal Photo is on your hard drive. Note: it must be no bigger than 150 pixels by 150 pixels. You might want to resize it yourself instead of letting the board software do it because that gives some awkward results just like with the avatars. That's all. Webmaster Errol Posted September 1, 2011 Webmaster Share Posted September 1, 2011 Based on what we've learned from our software provider, posters are no longer allowed to use third party hosted images as the avatar or profile picture. Images must be uploaded to our server. Reasons we've been given is due to possible hacking attempts and spyware.
