Explain to me what's going on right now, please.

Tom and Sheila planned to kidnap Lauren on her honeymoon. Sheila planted a bomb onboard the boat Micahel and Lauren have spent their honeymoon on. Tom is the only person who can tell that Brenda and Jennifer are actually Sheila, so this is why she's setting him up to kill him when the boat explodes. Michael watched it blow up from the shore of an island he is on. Michael had set Tom up (with Ashley's help) but the plan has now backfired.
