Members EricMontreal22
Perhaps unfairly, but the more people named as showrunner, the less success I see...
Members Juliajms
I had the same thought. Time will tell, but it just gives me less confidence knowing there will be all these cooks in the kitchen.
Members EricMontreal22
Of course there have been times it's worked--Joss Whedon often had someone else working with him who actually did more of the showrunner jobs (David Greenwalt did the first two years of Angel, Tim Minear the third and fourth and of course did all the basic "headwriting" of Firefly and season 2 of Dollhouse--or Herskovitz and Zwick work as a true team on their shows like thirtysomething and Once and Again) but that' susually when it's done from the start--not because someone suddenly leves. Members Juliajms
Yeah, a team is one thing, I'm afraid this is a whole other thing.
Administrator Toups Posted February 11, 2010 Author Administrator Share Posted February 11, 2010 Yeah, I'm not too confident about this either. They don't have a history of working with each other. Jessica and Lisa are in house producers while Tim is an outsider coming in. Jessica's not a writer/producer so maybe she's going to be taking care of the production, while Lisa and Tim take care of the headwriting.
