All CBS soaps are pre-empted for the start of the NCAA Basketball Tournament.

I love college bball and am always excited about March Madness, but I'm not looking forward to the Otalia withdrawal symptoms!

The only good thing about this is I will be less behind on my episodes during the week ... Maybe I can work overtime next weekend now instead of catching up on the soaps, lol.

Yeah, they do this every year when NCAA tournament time comes around....NBC does the same thing with tennis.

The Thursday and Friday episodes of all the CBS soaps are ALWAYS pre-empted for the beginning of March Madness, which kicks off in the third week of March. It's been that way forever and will be again next year if GL is still around.

CBS airs certain events every year that pre-empt all of their soaps. They also won't air on Labor Day or the Friday of that week because of the US Open tennis tournament. Nor will they air on Thanksgiving day, the Friday after, on New Year's Eve, or on New Year's Day.
