Members RoseVioletDaisy Posted March 16, 2009 Members Share Posted March 16, 2009 The Thursday and Friday episodes of all the CBS soaps are ALWAYS pre-empted for the beginning of March Madness, which kicks off in the third week of March. It's been that way forever and will be again next year if GL is still around. CBS airs certain events every year that pre-empt all of their soaps. They also won't air on Labor Day or the Friday of that week because of the US Open tennis tournament. Nor will they air on Thanksgiving day, the Friday after, on New Year's Eve, or on New Year's Day.
