What if Bloom offered Ellen Wheeler Y&R?

I don't get why ppl want to just hand the #1 soap in daytime to executives of failed soaps it's like they haven't learned from the LML debacle. Barbara Bloom is the reason why Y&R was in the mess it was until MAB came along and fixed Bloom's friends mess. Ellen Wheeler can go join another soap Y&R is off limits. Y&R is not an outhouse where anyone can just come in and take a crap.

Poor Wheeler is just the sad tragic story of the little engine that couldn't. Doesn't make me happy to say i though cause she seems like a lovely lady. But it's because of her decisions and the budget. The truth is I would love to go back and watch GL, but the characters don't make sense to me, there's no history on the show, and the terrible production values.

Anyone who knows me on here knows I love Y&R - and the litmus test for me on the new format is - Would I watch Y&R if it went to GL's format and the answer is - yes. if the characters stayed true and the s/l's stayed interesting, I would watch Y&R filmed on-location. Admitedly, I'd watch with bated breath, and I'd miss the traditional format, but it would be enough for me that I could still continue to enjoy the show.

GL was unwatchable to me BEFORE they did the change and the change just accelerated my disconnect from the show. Now if I catch it on I marvel at how I don't know anyone on the show and don't care. I'm going to watch the 1st week of Phillips return (on DVR for FF options) as a last ditch effort at seeing if any miracles happen. I'm not holding my breath but I have a little bit of hope. That's what X-mas is about though right?
