What can I say but a great big WORD. Although, part of me wishes JKJ would have gone ahead and sought other opportunities. In a normal economy and work situation, I'd be rooting for him to find something better, but with the economy and the apparent looming actor's strike, I guess he and his agent decided to play it safe for now. These next 28 months would be a good time for him to keep his other options open.... I think (please correct me if I'm wrong) there is some residual bitterness with some fans that PR an KA were even offered pay cuts in exchange for keeping their jobs, whereas D&D weren't. I can understand that, but there has to be more to the story. Either there were some personal issues no one knows about, or Corday and Co. HAD no choice but to get rid of those massive salaries. PR and KA were top paid actors, sure, but I don't think even their salaries came close to D&D's. Allison Sweeney, apparently, also took a pay cut. I don't buy the whole "they're trying to cater to the younger demographic" as the be-all and end-all of the explanation. I've been hearing about that for a couple of years now. There's got to be more to the story that's not getting out.

And as for JKJ, I am thrilled he is staying on. I think he is a wonderful actor and is another actor I don't think DAYS could afford to lose.
