Joseph Mascolo (Stefano)'s father, Peter, who celebrated his 80th wedding anniversary 10 days ago, has died.

Peter Mascolo, 106 years old, of Newington, died on Friday, May 2, 2008. He was the beloved husband of Anna (DeTuccio) Mascolo for over 80 years. Born in Lauro, Cessa Arunca, Italy, son of the late Joseph and Maria (Casale) Mascolo, and lived in West Hartford for over 75 years, moving to Newington about six years ago. Peter was employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, East Hartford for over 40 years and later was associated with the Fisette-Batzner Funeral Home, Hartford for 30 years. He previously attended St. Peter Claver Church, West Hartford. Besides his wife, Anna, he leaves his son and daughter-in-law Joseph Mascolo and Patricia of Arrowhead, CA, daughter and son-in-law Marie LaVoie and Ronald of Yucca Valley, CA; three grandchildren Lisa Mink, Steven Lavoie and Peter Mascolo and four great-grandchildren Amelia LaVoie, Lynee LaVoie, Alexis Mink and Hanz Mink and several nieces and nephews. Peter's family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Jefferson House for all the attentive care and compassion they gave to Peter during his time there. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

OMG. The news just keeps getting worse.

Oh my goodness. First he's fired from DOOL and then his father dies. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with Joseph? I wanna send him a email or letter telling him how sorry I am for his loss.
