Are we including 1997 as the last of the good years? I loved 1997. Betty Ford Erica. Maria being killed in the plane crash. Nutso Jim Thomason. Erica and Dimitri before the miscarriage. The Sam, and then Maddie drama. All that Jonathon Kinder stuff. The Holiday's explosion (or was that 98? But ooooo, I have the actual explsion and some of the aftermath and it's clipped, so watch for it on You Tube soon).

God, I miss that AMC. :(

Well I was basically referring to McTavish's return as head writer and basically when any of Agnes' influence actually helped the show for the final time. She helped in 2000 but it really didn't prove to be long lasting.

All the stuff you mentioned still happened pre McTavish. So December, 1997 to be exact.

Erica's Betty ford stint was in 1996 was it not? Early 1996. I miss AMC too.

    Yeah I think it was 1996. LOL, I was 11, all of those years seem to run together.

    I still yearn for those days.

    I can remember we had to disconnect our VCR while carpet was installed or something or other.

    I actually faked being sick and got to stay home so I wouldn't miss AMC.... It was during the height of the Julia/Noah stuff, It was the day when Louie was killed in self defence by Noah down on the docks.

    God do I miss AMC!!!

    1996 was a great AMC year between Erica/Janet/Skye taking down Kinder, Erica at Betty Ford, Dimitri/Maria affair, the entire baby Sam saga, anything related to Bobby/Anita/Scott/Kelsey, Noah/Julia on the run in Jamaica, anything Hayley/Mateo
