There's a calm fight club

To the bug eyes of day

When the amnesia of the Dynamite Kiddo world

Should please just go away

Dre/Jamal connection?

Okay I just had a thought come to me. Dre's last name is Woods and, before Jamal was adopted by the Cudahys, his last name was Woods as well. Do you suppose that, while Dre's mother was married to Samuel, she cheated on him with Alec McIntyre and that resulted in Jamal and hence he took her name rather than his father's? Maybe they can explain it as how Samuel thought the baby was his but, when his wife gave birth to Alec's baby, Alec took the child away from her and raised Jamal as his own and that is why Jamal hated him so much that he decided to have his mother's last name of Woods since she never got a chance to raise him (Alec, in the meantime, lied to him about his mother being dead)...Then, Samuel could have learned about the affair a little while after Alec takes Jamal, they search for the child but never find him, and Samuel forgives his wife for cheating on him but deep down he has a huge dislike for his wife and treats her like crap... that him disrespecting her caused the strain between him and Dre (who was young and did not know any better at the time). The continued strain would be Samuel faking this love and admiration for his wife when she is dead to get an advantange in his political career
