And do we really need more new people? General Hospital's cast is already massive- by far the biggest in daytime. I'm also curious to see how Demi Loviato will fit in. She looks much younger than the rest of the teen set.

It doesn't mean anything. The guy who played Cooper signed a contract for 4 years, and was fired less than a year later.

Signing a contract doesn't do much for the actor, it's only really a guarantee of employment as long as tptb want them.

The contracts mostly benefit tptb because it prevents the actors from making decisions that could affect scheduling, etc.

I think he has short term deals, (That's why he's never in the openings). I remember last summer SOD reported than he extended his stay for an extra six months.

No I was showing her IMDB so people can get a heads up. I got the info on Demi and Kin from a very reliable source at SOC and the stuff on Claire from http://www.soaps.com/generalhospital/comings_and_goings/ which is always right about their stuff.
