OLTL: New Cast Member Photo Shoots

The OLTL Actor's gallery page at ABC MediaNet has been updated with several new images of the cast. The captions on the images give credit to SoapNet, list Marina Chavez at the photographer, and identify the images as the "One Life to Live--Image Campaign." Which is odd, because I've never heard of that before, and am not sure exactly what it is. All the images are new, and have a white background. All these pictures were posted this afternoon.

Anyway, it's interesting to see who did and did not get one of these pictures taken among the contract cast members.

Link: http://www.abcmedianet.com/web/display/dis...p;leftcol=links (Be sure to click on "Gallery" at the OLTL page.

Those with the pictures include:

Kristen Alderson (Starr)

Melissa Archer (Natalie)

BethAnn Bonner (Talia)

John Brotherton (Jared)

Brandon Buddy (Cole)

David Chisum (Miles)

Kamar de los Reyes (Antonio)

Kassie DePaiva (Blair)

Michael Easton (John)

David Fumero (Cristian)

John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex)

Forbes March (Nash)

Trevor St. John (Todd)

Tika Sumpter (Layla)

Tobias Truvillion (Vincent)

Jerry verDorn (Clint)

Bree Williamson (Jessica)

Those who did NOT get a new promo picture include:

Justis Bolding (Sarah)

Kathy Brier (Marcie)

Melissa Gallo (Adriana), who is leaving soon anyway

Farah Fath (Gigi)

Brian Kerwin (Charlie)

Erika Slezak (Viki)

Hillary B. Smith (Nora)

Chris Stack (Michael)

Robin Strasser (Dorian)

Jason Tam (Markko)

Brittany Underwood (Langston)

Robert S. Woods (Bo)

Of course, they may add more tomorrow....but I think it's interesting to see which contract members are apparently part of the "Image Campaign" and those who aren't. It's very interesting....

That's from the SoapNet day actually. It's the photo shoots that go along with the new SoapNet promos. Since it was first a SoapNet shoot, they marked them differently.

I know that some of the OLTL actors that didn't have SoapNet promos have had ABC shoots recently and will have new/updated galleries.

yeah, they are from soapnet. GH has the same thing, and i assume OLTL does as well. all the good pictures in the past tyear or so have come from Soapnet, IMHO.

Soapnet usualy takes a chink of the cast and uses them. I am kinda shocked that FF wasnt used as Gigi tho.

Thanks guys....I don't have SoapNet so I wasn't sure what was going on. LOL

They have since removed the pictures from the OLTL actor's gallery at ABC MediaNet, however, here is a link to all of them.

They have a few more pictures there then were posted at MediaNet. They added pictures for Kathy Brier and Justis Bolding, and a couple of the other cast members now have more than one picture.

    • I'm not sure I agree with Bernstein's children on that. Bernstein's life and activism here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Bernstein#Social_activism_and_humanitarian_efforts
    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
    • There was a scene in the past week or two with Leslie looking at some papers and mementos, which included an invitation or souvenir from Alan's memorial service or funeral -- it was dated as November 2024. Me just guessing but it seems to me that Martin's nightmares about the accident are from something longer ago than November.
