Okay, the whole Greg Madden torture/murder storyline aside (obviously, since Greg was grown that makes it less offensive  ), Tad's used Adam's children and grandchildren against him as well. Tad's used JR against him countless times while he was marrying/divorcing/marrying/divorcing/marrying/divorcing Dixie. Tad helped Liza kidnap Colby, sending them on the run with false identities, and Tad hurt Adam's son, by helping Babe and Jamie kidnap his grandson and perpetuating the lie that he'd drowned in a helicopter crash.

So, even if the Greg Madden scenario hadn't even come into play, Tad still has no right to be sanctimonious about any damn thing concerning children, since Tad's basically used Adam's children and grandchild as weapons himself.

OF COURSE HE DOES. lol sorry for yelling. You write a character forma character's viewpoint and we all can tend to see thigns form our own perspective--if I was Tad of course I wouldn't want my baby with someone who just tried to sell the child about 6 months ago!!! Maybe I'd be the bigger man and get over it in a couple of years but c'mon having it happen this soon is ridiculous--even for Krystal I mean. I like her and Adam but agree it should be a bit longer. The things Tad did in the past are irrelevant--we're tlaking about a newborn child whos' father wants o protect her. It makes sens eto me (and I didn't mean Greg being tortured was ok cuz he was an adult tho I know i typed that :P more that he had no family obligation to Tad, Tad felt he was doing something against him etc)

I still maintain that Tad, a man who helped send another man's 4 year old daughter on the run under an assumed identity, and then the same year helped two people (being Tad's son and Krystal's daughter) kidnap that man's grandchild, has no leg to stand on. I don't care if, in Tad's delusional candy bar cereal eating mind, he felt justified -- when is he going to realize that the acts he committed toward other humans are just as heinous as the acts he feels have been committed toward him?

Back during the whole Col-Mar tower storyline in 1999, Tad felt he was justified in taking away Chandler Enterprises from Adam with help from Liza because he wanted to feel like he was worth something, since, after all, he's still carrying the wounds of his abusive father with him -- never mind the fact that he had been raised by the sanctimonious Martin clan for the better part of his life. What happened to him those first nine years of his life justified him stealing Adam's corporation in the most underhanded way. Wait, what way was that? Ah, yes. Having Adam declared insane in front of his board members. Just like he did this spring.

Tad's an ass, and I don't feel sorry, sympathy, compassion for this son of a bitch at all.
