Holiday gift ideas for the difficult people on your list

We all have peoplle that we have to holiday shop for that are, shall I say, not our favorite people to shop for? Like my BF's mother who regifts everything I give her? Who also regifts things to me like a used book, a kids size 14 bathrobe and this one is my personal favorite, my BF's ex girlfriend's gifts to her. I am trying to get her a nice gift so that I can be the bigger person. And a gift certificate is looked way down upon by her.

Any ideas?

I was going to say a gift card to her favorite restaurant. I gave those out last year. I plan on doing that again this year with department store gift cards too. That way they get what they want. :)

I like to personalize every one of my gifts and make it better from the year before. Last year I got a beautful water pitcher that was painted to match her kitch. It "accidently" broke.

One year, I just could not think of things to get my family. So I made scrapbooks. And I made everyone cry. It was cool that I made everyone cry

Duct tape over her mouth?

Find out what kind of music that person likes. Then buy CD's with their favorite music.

Also, browse a book store. Just doing that will give you ideas!
