Simon had big plans and they were all going well.

The only scheme you're talking about was the Diamon Heist....and that was when they were very desperate and Simon was in danger. She wasn't a slave. She knew the risk and she chose (stupidly) to partake in the heist.

Give me back real Carly anyday over this crap...

I shouldn't have really brought this up in a spoiler thread. But I don't consider any of Simon's schemes to have "been working". They ultimately failed, thanks to Simon's mismanagement and shortcuts. The Carly that put Simon above her access to her children, was not a Carly I saw as "strong and independent".

I hate this Carly storyline. It's way too predictable and Jack & Katie :gag will be reunited after they find out.
