Morning Star was about fashion designer Katy Elliot who left Springvale for New York and moved in with Joan Mitchell. The story dealt with her grieving for her dead fiancee Greg,finding new romance with Bill and coping with family problems back home.

It was created by Ted Corday and familiar names in the cast included Ed Mallory who went on to play Bill Horton on Days and Floy Dean who was the first Laura Horton.

Paradise Bay was set in a California beach town.Jeff Morgan was a radio station manager with a wifev and daughter.There was a murder with the young hero falsely accused.

Starring Marion Ross(Happy Days) Heather North (Sandy Horton DOOL)KT Stevens(Vanessa Prentiss Y&R) Dennis Cole (Lance Prentiss Y&R)

Later that year NBC premiered Days...
