I did love Gio and Emma being so game to help Tracy this week. You could see Emma was onboard even more quickly than Gio with a little breaking and entering, which is how her character should continue to be played - with an edge, like the young Brenda. I would be much more inclined to see her get into business or additional various schemes vs. settling for some boring vet job.
That relationship with Tracy was rare to see in the youth set 20 years ago (or even 10), where Guza, etc. still used to have the kids and 'cool' characters groan and grouse about the Qs all the time. Lulu built a close relationship with Tracy of course, but there were still all sorts of issues with the treatment of the family. Having them build on the rapport between Jane and Mazza that began with those incredible reveal scenes last spring has been a smart move.
