Could CBS pick up DAYS?

Sony co-produces both Y&R and DAYS, Corday has ties to Y&R as well, so I could see Sony trying to broker a deal with CBS if the 'Price is Right' fails with the new host but I don't see them cancelling ATWT or GL to make way for DAYS as that would only undermine the integrity of the current daytime line up. By picking up another soap it would show that CBS believes that the daytime drama is a genre worthy of investing in but ending ATWT of GL would have the opposite effect. It would be possible that picking up DAYS and adding them to the lineup would actually help the ratings for GL, ATWT and DAYS.

On ABC, All My Children & One Life to Live are produced in NY. General Hospital is produced in LA.

If it appears on any network, I could see ABC picking it up. They've been interested in the past.

Oooh. I don't watch GH so I didn't realize that was produced in LA. That's great to hear that there is at least that glimmer of hope it could stay on network TV.

I say if DAYS goes anywhere it would be either:

1. SoapNet

2. DirectTV

3. ABC

Nope don't even see ABC picking it up, Frons already said they couldn't afford to pick up Passions(I guess they tried) so why the heck would they be able to afford Days?

Plus with ABC owning their own soaps, money wise makes no sense to pick up Days, or cancel one of their soaps for Days.
