Why are you so dead set on it being a dig, rather than it simply being that Colby got drunk, lost her virginity, stole a yacht and crashed it?

Well yeah, that's exactly what happened last summer during the storyline. But yesterday, when Colby brought up the entire "Sweet Sixteen" idea - everyone was like "NOOOOO...bad idea...what the hell were we thinking" ----- so, what's your point??? ;)

My point is that it would be natural for them to react that way. I don't think it was any of the writers' attempt at a sneaky, clever little dig at the storyline. I just think you're getting a hard on over the fact that McTavish is gone, and I don't blame you -- but you might be reading way too much into every little thing. But I know that's who you are, boo. "LOVING" everything in sight.

I haven't rendered my verdict, yet, so I'm definitely holding off on all the praise and excitment. So much is still horribly wrong with these storylines, as I said before, it's going to take more than a mute Ryan, some history references and Babe acknowledging she stole a baby (conveniently AFTER everyone's been brainwashed into believe Babe is Love) for me to get all moist and orgasmic over this stuff.
