Best First Lady

Oh wow, we pick on Barbara because she is old and not attractive. Totally great reasons not to like someone!

Barbara was not one who wanted to be in the spotlight like the media whore Hillary was with her time in office. The Bush women seem to be more about doing things on a more downplayed mode than annoucning everytime they hold some type of meeting.

She has a wicked sense of humor and a sharp tongue, she says things that others look at and say ...what a [!@#$%^&*], but thats just her. She holds nothing back. Kind of refreshing, even when some comments are not proper.

A strong advocate of volunteerism, Mrs. Bush helped many causes--including the homeless, AIDS, the elderly, and school volunteer programs. As well as literacy issues. And founded the Barbara Bush Foundation of for Family Literacy. I guess it is wrong to want to teach people to read?

Yea, she is horrible alright. And Laura does so much to promote education and reading.

You see, these ladies were not trying to advance themselves, they were trying to advance others. So that does make them horrible rotten people!

Geez...things never cease to amaze me.

All first ladies have been, in my opinion pretty damn good in terms or how they handled themselves, the pressures and were good role models to children and women especially.

Yes, even the Democrats!

Imagine if Kerrys wife was first lady...she was the younger version of Barbara Bush in the mouthing off department, but because she is a DEM...she would have had a free pass!

No Kwing, Barbara Bush is a total B I T C H. She's ugly and old----looks like she's 130, but oh well, Maybe that's God's punishment. Laura Bush doesn't do a DAMNED thing, she's almost invisible, except when she wants to kiss W's ass and lie.

Kerry's wife was beaten up in the press, so Kwing you and the other neo-cons can stop the "liberal media" lies.

Some quick phrases that sum up my feelings on this post.

-Misrepresentation of the words of others.

-An obvious belief that everything uttered by the media is fact.

-Unnecessary defensiveness about Conservative figures. (which only makes people further dislike them!)

-An inability to agree to disagree with others.

All typically Republican and speaks volumes about why Democrats and independents are put-off by the party.

I actually liked Barbara Bush until her extremely stupid *I'm rich so I don't care* comments about NOLA refugees in Houston. Now I hate her.

I agree. That's when I officially started not liking her. Looks and age have nothing to do w/ it. The woman is crazy!

Where are you getting this idea that Dems get a free pass? I don't give one to Hillary and Dianne Feinstein for voting for the Iraq War but at least they have come out and protested it and neither do I give them one along with Boxer and a whole bunch of others for voting to re-extend The Patriot Act.....I still like them a lot but there are times where I have to disagree with their decisions
