Ion Media Networks Plays the Name Game

Ion Media Networks will be renamed Ion Television starting Jan. 29, with new on-air logos. Ion, originally Pax TV, and then i, is changing its name again in an effort to revitalize the network. The move, according to Brandon Burgess, president and CEO, was driven by the network's decision to provide programming that reaches a broader audience. The on-air campaign will include a series of promotions and image spots, as well as the new on-screen logo.

    I have actually liked watching this broadcast network since they started airing old shows such as Green Acres and Mama's Family.
