If they should air it, do it on the net, not on national news. That is just a bit barbaric for tv.

CNN just said what they may air is just him walking to the gallows, not the actual event. It all depends on the censors and things like that.

Looks like he is dead, CNN is reporting that he has been hung.

For sure, the hanging will probably show up online. Don't the beheadings get posted online too? I think some of the Arab networks air them uncut right? But showing it on national television? Might be a little too much. Even I might change the channel.

Anyway, finally Saddam is getting what he deserves. Hey, that's what you get for genocide!

ANderson Cooper just reported that Iraq television will broadcast the entire hanging. This will be on the internet within hours.

I wonder how much of the footage will be shown on cable or regular TV?! I'm certain we will all see him getting the rope placed around his neck and probably footage of him lying there dead. I don't think CNN or FoxNews will show the actual execution, though....but who knows? I'm thinking Hussein is in the same place Hitler is now.

I don't get why anyone outside of the Iraq would want to watch him being hanged.

This is *not* entertainment or a television show, it's the cruel reality.

The Iraq won't get a safe place now that's he dead - because all of his followers are very much alive, plus there are still the two religious groups fighting against each other. This whole thing can't end before one group has either left the country or is completely killed.
