Members juniorz1
I'm THRILLED by the surprise nomination of Emily Blunt in the Supporting Actress category for The Devil Wears Prada. She stole that movie a la Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny & certainly deserves the recognition.
Members DruRocks
After FINALLY watching Dream Girls, I don't think Beyonce Knowles has a shot in hell at winning the Golden Globe, or getting an Oscar Nomination. Not that I did in the first place. Meryl Streep far and away will take that award. She was brilliant in the "Devil Wears Prada." Now THAT is how you do an ice cold b.tchy performance. No hysterics, no overpowering your co-stars, but subtle and effective acting. She even made Anne Hathaway good, who I believe is an OK actress. I especially loved the scene in the apartment and limo, brilliance. GO MERYL GO! The Globe is YOURS. As for Jennifer Hudson she was EXCELLENT in her singing, and her acting was good. The only problem is her scenes seemed too short, and not enough umph. Then again she did have that one amazig scene when she put everyone on blast, so... But for me, it's between Emily Blunt and J. Hud.
