Well, I like serialized drama, too (DUH!), but it seems that there are so many series know where you watch only to go "what the hell is going on?!" We're not jumping into the storylines mid-way, we're jumping in at season 3 and then finding out what happened in seasons one and two. Sometimes it feels like I turned on a movie 1 hour in and I'm waiting for a commercial break to find out what the hell it is.

We'll it is weird, and at the momoent I don't have much time to write, so I'll just say that primetime public usually get tired soon with arc-hevay shows. We'll see what happens in next two-three years.

I think "Lost" started this trend towards mystery type dramas. I'm enjoying several of them (Lost, Jericho, Prison Break) quite a bit. I just can't watch one more medical or law drama. Those genres are completely played out for me. That's one reason I keep failing to give up my premium channels. Everytime I try, HBO (Big Love, Rome) or Showtime (Dexter) come up with an original series that really does have an original premise and I'm hooked.
