A very good friend of my nephew & a sort of a friend of my brother & sister-in-law who in a time of need even lived with them for awhile, is named Niko after this character. His mother loved Niko when she was pregnant with him so I can guarantee at least one fan of this character & storyline in the Greenville, SC market. 1 down, how many to go? If I were forced to decide between Niko & Sonny, in terms of liking or disliking Maurice Benard characters, I'm sorry to have to inform you I'd choose Nico. Not so much preference as reverse pref? A real breath of fresh air compared to ego & hubris. Also Amy the daughter of Anne & David Shaughnessy is an aspiring singer & actor & has a YT channel. One of the numbers is a duet with her & Kristin Chenowith & it is amazing! She's friend to DAYS & a special friend to the Hayeses when Bill was alive & now to Susan. One big Twitter Blast weekend when we were posting hashtag Honoring Bill Hayes and another Remembering blah blah she committed to collecting ALL the tweets & getting them to Susan!! Really kind & great facilitation!

It was Passanante who ATWT asked if she could take her experience writing on the team who gave us "Bianca comes out as gay on AMC" & do it again only with a guy, Luke. Later, of course she created Julie Pinson's character Julie patterned after herself but unfortunately she ate the whole show.
