IMO you are unlikely to find a more vivacious, bubbly, gregarious spirit than Cady. And, besides these people are acting so their real personality is moot. I caution again let's wait & see. How can we judge off this tiny bit/s?

In the US Paramount Plus with Showtime = new episode loads at 5 eastern. In the US regular Paramount Plus = new episode loads at 6 eastern. So, effectively, there is NO reason to pay extra for "with Showtime"

I'm going to have to disagree here. Maybe it's another Minority Rapport & if so, so be it. But, I'm not at all bothered by the affirmations & the family pride & expressions of it. Plus, to me the majority of the dialogue has been either fine or better. As it goes, the exposition, about 85% has been smooth not awkward.

Are you telling me you are 4 episodes behind on BTG?! Giiiirl, I'M JEALOUS! WATCH A-S-A-P! No, just two!!! But, I am still struggling with names, so it seems like a big two!!! However, I just knocked one down. S1E8. S1E9 to go. 4 is how far behind I am on the digital files I'm collecting.

I'm not concerned about Pamela/Cady. She wasn't in the first batch of introductions so we've only seen her twice, both times fairly brief. And, it's not as if anyone's trying to force her on us. She's been introduced like any other character as far as name & description, being in the wiki & then less attention than the extended family or the townies gabbing at the diner, when it comes to actual time onscreen. We'll see. But, I do think it would be premature to judge that she does not hold up as Dani's bestie. So I know many do not, but I have a bad guys list. Week 1 it only had Bill & Hayley on it but now of course, I've added Leslie/Dana & Eva. Leslie, well, I'm not sure how tightly her bow is strung. She really protested too much & with too much energy behind it when Eva asked her a simple, obvious question, especially since we know what she actually did & for what a lousy reason she did it. In thinking about the trope of the wronged twin who grew up under miserable circumstances who comes to town to get revenge and/or reclaim their birthright, I'm thinking of Anne Heche & so far anyway Eva does not live up to it, but it's perhaps too high a bar. I've seen as much condemnation of Dani as I have seen praise. But here lies my condemnation as of Week 2, these 4: Bill, Hayley, Leslie & Eva. Oh, and I am totally loving that Kat, for some unknown reason, has Eva's number. You go, girl! Stick to that intuition!

First day nurse, Ashley, had a supervisor introduce herself & indicate that new nurse knows nothing about this hospital's procedures. On her third day Ashley delivered a baby in an elevator with the photographer (and hot dude) Andre as her only help. The baby mama, Alix with an I, named baby girl Ashley Andrea. They took pictures all around. Laura, who Leslie/Dana ran off the road, was treated there. I think that's it for 2 weeks at I forgot the name of this hospital.

I agree. both actresses did good jobs. I really liked them discussing both of their pasts & the decisions they made. The only thing that bothered me was that Lulu didn't connect the dots to realize it means Sonny has a grandchild he doesn't know about. This to me is way more important than Dante not knowing he has another kid.

Pamela, who Cady plays, is Dani's BFF! So, I expect in future she'll get more lines. One of the two people I recruited as BTG fans just gave me her personal review of as far as she's seen. Her favorites are Dani & Nicole. She plans to FF Ashley & Derek. She rolled her eyes at the boring white people. (She is non-black.) Overall, she LOVED it & is planning to watch more this weekend.

I was without electricity for 2 days this week. I am only 2 days behind on DAYS. I am up to date on GH & BTG. I have digital files for 6 days of BTG, meaning I am 4 days behind there. Just taking stock. The BTG files are of 2 kinds: Complete & Open/Close/Credits.

This ordinarily would belong in the DAYS historical thread but in a way it's just come up here. Do you recall that Roman, Bo & John all had & wore these cordovan brown leather jackets? They all belonged IRL to Drake. I think that is adorable, but I have to wonder why in the heck did Drake happen to have 3 just alike lighter brown leather jackets?!!!
