Sydney Penny was the only positive out of that family in SB, if you ask me. That makes me think about Tamara Tunie talking about how positive ATWT was to her for 15 years on that very topic, other work besides the soap. What a contrast!!!

To me the thing is that Drew is still more interesting now, even though totally unlikable, than he was as Drewfus. So, I'm not sick of Drew although it's a like to dislike situation.

In terms of KZ on other shows: Great on Designing Women, also great on Babylon 5, fine on OLTL, horrible on Santa Barbara. Frankly on SB her whole family was a wash. And, yes, they added a whole 'nother family just for her.

I'm not sure whether I agree but if you are correct then I think I can account for it. Harris had almost no baggage. He was almost a blank slate. All he really carried forward was having been a Navy seal. In comparison Jason Morgan has what we might call a ton of baggage.

I've been meaning to mention something. File it under one fan's opinion. I think we have a more harmonious place to hang out when we post about the topic at hand instead of posting about each other. Now about GH & pairings i am all in for Lucky & Liz. Finally the other day they mutually declared their feelings for one another. I know the show is invested in them because they have paid for modern digitizing of flashbacks & then they have used them to good effect. Jackly continues BUT that is going to blow up when Carly finds out about Joss being a WSB agent. Or if Brennan really was behind the bomb in Sonny's old place, then, that would also signal the end of Jackly. For anyone who doesn't know portmanteaus, ship names, smoosh names, if it were me I think I would ask but I can't imagine someone not being able to figure them out. I mean this is not rocket science. And, if your problem is that you are disdainful of them, well the words are right there: your problem. Also IMO we have recently seen the best acting Steve Burton has ever done. And I celebrate that.

When Julie said, "I know." MAN! What a moment & only 2 words. SSH killing it!! If the Doug 3 actor were better it woulda coulda shoulda been amazing. As it was it was still very strong. Excellent reveal. How mad was Julie? How mad is it possible to be?

In the modern era 2 actors took up more than anyone else on the frontburner - KZ & Grant. Love Judi. Admire Beth C. But I feel the same as you when it comes to pairings.

I also loved Philip & Harley together!!! Grant was smart about many things but, d'uh stupid there.

It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that different people have differing levels of fan engagement at various venues & platforms. But, now that you mention it, is there anyone people here on SON/GH are really rooting for? And, I don't mean obscure people who haven't been on the show in years. Maybe some people are just here, but I am not, although SON is important to me, daily I am at FB, Bluesky, Instagram & Twi/X. Spoutible on occasion.

Jill only became an EP at Santa Barbara because of the Dobsons being locked out. It was 1995 when P&G shuffled all of their EPs, over one show. AW, ATWT & GL. Laurie Caso got left out. (Started a 2nd career.)

The scene between Mo & Maura was good. She hit him up for a loan of 2 mil. He said okay but that he had a "condition" which apparently was to have full custody of Avery back. She got mad. They hollered at each other. Sonny had a heart attack, fell down. Ava reacted.

I know that Desiree was on DAYS during 1991 which is a year I think of as pretty bad for DAYS. Molly & Tanner, Julie without Doug, Kimberly & Shane, Ginger secretly Molly's biological mother. To me there was only one good story, Marlena loved two men but wasn't allowed to love both of them. OG Roman was back with her. John was with pregnant Isabella. Desiree, of course, could've been in 1990 & in 1992. I only know about 1991 because last year I did a rewatch of that year.

I think that Reva/GL is an example where there is a fan complaint that she "ate" her show. You would not find that complaint about Slezak/OLTL, Lucci/AMC or Deidre/DAYS. Of course, she didn't just have detractors; she also had fans. I'm not one of them but I'm also not a big hater, either. I do hold at least 2 GL opinions that are unpopular, here, so I'm in the minority, here. I like 2 Coopers: Harley & Buzz. I'm sure part of the reason for that is that I came late to loving GL. So they were never the new interlopers to me. A friend & I were discussing KZ just the other day. He's not a cheerleader for her or anything but he did say one strong complimentary thing, that KZ personally had the conviction as an actress to make any scene work as well as she could.

Yes, she calls him "Bud" almost all the time, has forever. It is as ubiquitous as is their saying "Always".

In response to an uptick in people identifying themselves as Jarly fans I began posting a Jarly clip daily. Some are/will be historical & some are/will be current. I wasn't sure where to post them, here, are you thinking they should be in the historical thread? Even though some of them will be current? Or post them differently according to that? (There's also an uptick of Jarly content in story.)
