Supposedly, again with the supposedly, the only thing she created while at GL that she really liked was, yep, you guessed it! Mae, the cigarette girl in that after hours club of Danny's! The cliffhanger was spot on perfect. And, I liked the juxtaposition of Steve worrying that he'd made things worse today with the excruciating situation they were in bitd. Some folk on Twitter have suggested that this almost seems like it was punitive toward Camila for leaving. At this point I don't think I'd look askance at any theory!

Well, I will say that at least Marlena got to represent the fan point of view. She was horrified when Brady told her what he was taking part in. She used the words reprehensible & unethical & she even tried to talk him out of it. He was insistent that he has to do this because you have to stoop to Kristen's level. He agreed that there's no way Kristen would harm Rachel physically but stated that she did harm to her emotionally or mentally, I forget his words, but that she poisoned her mind against Chloe & she would do the same against him & he would lose his little girl forever.

I was just at Kim Well's Another World group on Facebook & they just passed over 2000 members & congratulated them, etc. Kim posed the question "If you could only watch one year of AW for the rest of your life what year would you choose?" I would pick 1990. Connie Ford is there all year. Anne Heche is there all year. Donna Swajeski is HW. It's the 'Who Shot Jake' year. There is quite a bit of Jake & Paulina and Jake & Marley, Jake's fling with Donna, ...

I do not know wigs. Someone who assured me that he did know wigs told me once that Victoria Wyndham had hundreds of wigs. He seemed to think that was a very large amount for one person to have & his thrust was that you never saw her real hair. She always had on a wig.

I just went back to our research on this & part of what we said when we discovered this is as follows: "Daytime TV" magazine©1977 dedicated entirely to "Search for Tomorrow". On page 59 is the following paragraph. Without realizing it Scott and Kathy began to fall in love. Scott and Laurie separated and eventually divorced. I typed up that page of storyline synopsis & asked a discussion thread devoted to "Search For Tomorrow" if they could date the events & someone immediately affirmed 1970-71. Now, we had no inkling that Erica's abortion was not a RoeV date! Seeing this here is the first I've heard of it not being a 1973+ date. I wonder if there is any way to sort this to see if SFT Kathy or AMC Erica was the first legal abortion.

And we know now that on SFT Kathy went to NY & had a legal abortion in 1971. (Two other states had legal abortion but they had residency requirements. NY state had no residency requirement.)

I just read a supposed spoiler about tomorrow & about Stabi & about Kristen & it said nothing. Spoiler Now it teased that Stefan & Gabi finally have a big win. Then it goes on to also tease that Kristen cause someone to have hell to pay. So we're at least not going to have to wait long for this tasteless mess to be over & done with. Don't you just hate it when that's what is contained in a supposed spoiler.

Some people believe that persons in heaven (or where ever) watch over their loved ones back on earth. So Harmony could be seeing that Michael is trying to control who Willow sees. I have a question: Who do you miss? I miss Taggart, which I said already. I miss Monica. I miss Britt & there's nothing to be done about it. I miss Brad. I missed Tracy & we got her. I missed Liesl & she appeared. I missed Laura & Kevin & they're back.

I am just so horrified. Again. Only in the US. When will those who resist the idea get it that it IS the guns & the ammo?!

I am now gratified by ONLY ONE THING about this Stabi Fakes Abuse on Rachel s/l & that is everywhere DAYS fans are in solidarity in that they absofrackinlutely HATE IT! ✅ minor actress ✅ Kristen wouldn't do it ✅ makes a mockery of serious abuse s/ls ✅ false reporting of abuse is non-existent ✅ in the worst possible "taste". ✅ did not know we could all agree!

Oh, yeah, Portia! Does anyone have any insight as to where that 180 came from? She looks at pictures from Trina's NY weekend getaway with Spencer & proclaims that obviously she loves him & he loves her & she is an adult & is capable of making up her own mind! Whoa! Talk about whiplash. With no warning at all, Portia dropped her overbearing, controlling, mama bear perspective where she actively disliked Spencer & definitely mistrusted him while also mistrusting Trina's level-headedness & judgment of people. Voila! I was totally amazed! I used to love Portia & now if this is sincere, I can go back to that. Now Michael I am ready to hang up by his thumbs! I don't mind even one bit that his impulse is to hold this over Nina's head. But the very idea that he would control who Willow saw or not is extreme & completely out of the question.

Of course, you might be right. However, if so, I honestly don't think they would have continued to produce them. And, I would bet you that they have charts & graphs & numbers to prove what they think is the situation with any & all promos. That's just the very kind of metrics they would either do or have provided to them by ad agencies.

Reginald Love 1st on 8-8-86. Anna Stuart left 11-21-86 & back 2-23-89 so gone 2 years & 2 months. Philece Sampler began 2-4-87. So, Reg arrived with Donna in place for 3 months, then no Donna at all for 3 months, then a new Donna. Meanwhile, the twins: Wheeler's last day was 9-29-86 but Lewen came on 9-26-86 so there was no time without a Vicky. Heche began 7-6-87. So there was some time when no one was playing Marley. So, I think the story could have been told with Philece playing Nicole with no Donna for that amount of time & still had Donna be given a welcome homecoming & retaking an important place. This had been bugging me but I had literally no time to look up all the relevant dates. I started thinking about it again & just did it. @Xanthe Can you take pity on me & tell me what page the first "Breakaway" promo is on?

Obviously I agree with the first half of what you're saying here but I don't follow where you end up with the 2nd half. Perhaps you would satisfy my curiosity. What do promotions have to do with the growth of social media?

In general I think that promotions work. I think in general that advertising works. But, you obviously have effective promotional campaigns & ineffective ones. Add to that the fact that different types of people & ages of people respond & react differently, it's kind of a crap shoot (1) predicting what will be successful and (2) evaluating after the fact what worked & what did not. Given that many experts have compiled enormous amounts of data, basically we still do not know what makes a hit. Yet we live in a society that is rife with promotions & advertising. I guess one way to look at the big picture is that if they could conclusively prove that promotions did not work, period, at all, then they would stop doing them.

Yes, I liked & appreciated all of those actresses. I was especially fond of the bond between Liz Keifer & Maureen Garrett. DAYS recently did a stunt with a recast so I've been collecting other stunts. DAYS one Jack to a new Jack in the shower. DAYS new Bo revealed via a masked ball. Santa Barbara where Mason was one actor at the beginning of a fist fight & then a different actor came up from the floor. AMC's Babe hugging her mother & when they came apart it was the new actress. That last one I have only heard about. Haven't found it yet. DAYS this past year has twice had an actor play one part & then turnaround in a matter of days play a totally different part. Basically as fans we hate it. You've touched on what right now for DAYS fans is a "thing".

I was literally actually horrified when I saw where Gabi & Stefan were taking their game with Rachel. Making her a party to accusing her mother of physical abuse is so far beyond any level of "taste"! I cannot imagine people thinking up these ideas & then following through & writing them down! Have they lost their minds?! Do they not have any filters? This is the kind of thing where someone in an odd mood would say, Hey we oughta do this & name something totally outrageous & all have a laugh & that is purged & then they do something realistic instead.

I don't think we're in a position to criticize people for not speaking up during Albert Alarr's tenure. I just believe that to be true of people in hellish employment situations in general, not some special privilege I hold for DAYS victims. Right now people are raving about Tom Lisanti's new book on RH. In her review Marlena Delacroix compares his scholarship with Chris Schemering Ency/1985 which is basically as high praise as there can be. I think they're saying that things bts have now stopped feeling very awful & now are feeling very good. I think they're trying to get across that they're relieved. I didn't get surface level from it. I found it to be quite deep. I think they know that we know that they were not safe & now are. Sure, I know it might not be true. They might be shining us on. That could always be true. I guess I just choose, for now, to believe it. It is the kind of thing I've been hoping we would hear.

Also Maxie looked GOOD! Oh, yeah, I love Lois's accent. Also I too think Rena has toned it down. Also I wanted to say that I have no patience with Curtis & whatever their goal was with this story, I figure it is falling short. PLUS, his hands & his mouth work fine & the only thing keeping him from making love to his wife is his brain!
