Agree to disagree as to Lois's return. Moving from the specific to the general, IMO, successful: Tracy, Lois, Lulu so far & Lucas so far. Questionable: Lucky. But I do not believe that having a romantic partner at all times is the be all & end all of things. Reminder about how we got from there to here with Rena: Everything was a part of the great unknown, whether they'd like her or vice versa, so they by intent signed a 30 episode deal. Before they even got to the end of those 30 episodes they knew they really liked each other a lot & so they with mutual satisfaction (we think) agreed upon a handshake open-ended deal, which as far as anyone knows is how it still stands. What is good about that? Neither side has YET wanted it to end. What's bad about that? Maybe it is a little weird. Now, it seems to me that Lois is not going to have time for anything or anyone at all EXCEPT the fallout over the GIO reveal for the upcoming future days & weeks & I do think she is going to take the brunt of a LOT of people's anger. In a way that has begun this week with Tracy being SO UGLY to her. About Jason & romance. They're not writing any. If I understand what he's said from that podcast they never had any intention with either Anna or Sasha. Also, if they had wanted to write either of those, he would've been against it, although he realizes it's not up to him. (Finola has expressed same at fan events, etc.) (Others who have similarly stated their "preferences": Sonny does not want to be with Carly. Carly does not want to be with Sonny. So, these preferences Jason, Anna, Sonny, Carly, they all work out & none of them is having the show want those pairings either, so, again, works out. About these writers & romantic couples, they spent a year blowing up every couple that existed. Now a few months has gone by & they have YET to create even one new couple. The only thing that has come close is Lucky & Liz. Edit to ADD: Ric & Ava, I forgot. Edit to ADD: I also forgot that the show *supposedly* wanted a classic triangle between Lulu, Dante & Sam before KeMo's firing & this was revealed as a spoiler back then at a regular Monday night Suds & Square Media podcast. Certainly an easy idea at one point to hear as a fan. If not for firing, it would've written itself, right? (Trying to give these no-romance writers the benefit of the doubt.)

And, in fact, that is exactly what I did do, offered a sincere apology, and a year went by without it happening again & during that time I paid an unbelievably high price. And, during that time I did not speak of it. I did not offer a defense. I just took my lumps. I had been too upset to discuss it. I believed that I would not be believed. And, now I have finally made one statement & your interpretation of my actions is that I come back with excuses, defenses & distortions - whatever the heck that means - and, yes, some people choose not to believe me when I have been nothing but truthful ... forever. @ErrolYes, that is a recent instance just like what happened a year ago when I was told something had been announced & took remedial action as soon as I learned that was not so. But, you are incorrect that it is a scoop to me. It is simply providing information as a service. Hordes of posts are correct. Two have not been.

If that is the case then it truly was a waste of time as I have not ever, even once, deleted or removed such a post. The only thing I have ever done even remotely close to that was if I inadvertently posted in the wrong thread & marked it in the wrong spot with that phrase & then posted the content where it was meant to be.

You're speaking of something that did not even happen here & you are incorrect because there was nothing nonchalant about it. I have very rarely spoken of it but I made a reply about it where it did happen, recently. Yes, it was a terrible awful error. I had been told it had been announced. Not only Drake but my oldest, best friend died that week, she also a pancreatic cancer victim. The instant I learned it hadn't I deleted it & posted a sincere apology. At the time I was so upset.

I remain fascinated - and confused - by Mitch at this point. WHY did he do the 180?!!!! I felt like Sandi was good but not great & my favorite Amanda was Christine Tucci. Sandy seemed to do her best work when she was pretending to be "Mandy" and that was a relatively short period of time. I agree that the triangle could have been much stronger with a stronger Amanda. And, I think it was a mistake of the writing to saddle her with a child so soon, so young, so inexperienced in living life. Obviously it is a very popular soap mistake!!!

I love SOAPDISH but I think TOOTSIE is better. Generally I am quite fond of gender-benders. VICTOR, VICTORIA, most favorite.

On GL we only saw young GA's Philip in very short shorts but on AMC we saw GA's Alec McIntyre in a speedo. But, on GL, an older GA/Philip is having sex with Olivia in a hotel room where Bruce Barry was directing & he & she both end up down to nothing but black underwear & at one point his bicep is covering her entire upper body so it appears that she is naked. I think they ended up on the floor between the bed & the wall. That was when I realized that Grant's body was better than Steve Burton's. (Olivia was cheating. Her husband Alan was in the hospital.) It is notable that I can speak with any insight AT ALL about these bodies since that is not the team I play for! LOL

Hmm, well, I thought yesterday was "Dialog City" so at least IMO it was well done talk. Today I'm all about how harsh Dante just was to Gio & I get it that he's so scared but it's all coming out like anger - and judgment, harsh judgment. But, what they're doing is putting as much bad, troubling icky stuff between Dante & Gio as they can & it's a set-up. Good writing, acting, directing, tho. What's weird is I only recently realized that Lulu does not know it's Gio. However, I just had a thought. One day last week someone tried to kill Sonny & got killed. That wasn't words. That was action.

Yes, that's the way it went, the dramatic beats, the increased info dropped. Actually, his being Janice's son was such clever writing, at least IMO. Yes, I was of this same impression. Both were charming but the first ... more layered maybe? More complex? The second maybe less sophisticated.

This makes me think of that famous quote from COOL HAND LUKE, "What we've got here is failure to communicate." So, this was fun. Elsewhere, friendly to polls, a poll on what do you want to see at the Nurses Ball. The Gio reveal got 18%, for Blaze to return & sing also got 18%, for Jennifer Hudson to do a cameo & sing got 10% and for Lucy to lose various parts of clothing got 9% but the huge one was the reveal of Drew/Nina sex which got a whopping 45%!

Jason, in thinking this over, I realize that we look at this space, differently. To me it is a potentially collaborative space. Now that I've realized this, what I should have said, "I'm having a problem because what I'm seeing is not matching up with your descriptions. Maybe these files I just got are misdated. Maybe it's something else. I will keep you posted. Meanwhile this episode, its edit, is ready, even though I might have to issue a corrected date later. But, people can enjoy the performances now.
