I suspect that TA might be let go and Trina written out in the fall.

Unless her fans screw things up for her, which is a very real possibility, I do not think Trina is in any danger of being let go or recast. Probably the POC are all quite safe, although they might do what they did with Marshall & move them from contract to recurring.

My guesses on unsafe people would include: Finn, Violet, Cody Bell, Sasha, Lucy, Brad, Liesl, Terry, Amy, Scott & Liz, which could impact her sons.

We already know that Gregory will not be here after sometime in the next month. Everyone expects his character to die during Sweeps.

Who Do You Think Was Snubbed??? Arianne Zucker Was The first that came to mind! She carried DAYS on her back for most of the past year, and wasn't even nominated, Who Else Do You Think Was Snubbed?

Colleen Zenk deserved A nomination for Guest Performer

Ari, Colleen & Melody Thomas Scott. But, we don't know if Ari submitted. Colleen did. I imagine Y&R submitted MTS but don't actually know.

I have a hard time believing Carson or JaSam will ever be off the table permanently.  Sonny/Nina?  Probably.  But this show has shifted back to Carly/Sonny and Jason/Sam so many times after I thought they were done I would never say it's forever.  For now?  Yeah, but those two pairings have been default for so long I would never say never on them.

I just saw the doors being shut. No one had any nails in hand. Just tidier than a bunch of doors hanging open!  Never/ever, if even possible, someone would have to pound in some nails! Big nails!

Maurice Benard was in Overacting Overdrive today.

Actually, I thought he was a bit better today, not that that is saying a lot. Probably today he was better because fighting with LW/Carly elevates him a bit.

But, he was still the least of what I thought was a great day, a day like soaps used to be. Also feels like a day when they're setting up for something, which I guess is Sweeps.

Also I felt like they closed some doors. Door #1, CarSon slammed shut. Door #2 JaSam shut. Door #3 Sona with a full Memorial montage including her memories of icky Cowboy Mike of NF also slammed shut. Nina signed & sent the divorce papers & took off her rings & is having them messengered to Sonny. And, finally, they gave us more of an idea of what is going on in Mob Princess Ava's head. Like some of us called it, it began with her desire for the familiarity of power, includes full legitimacy with Avery & now she's starting to have feelings for Sonny.

Jason brought Danny home to his mother & still the first thing Sam said was an accusation of Jason as if he'd done something wrong, which he had not. Jason very reasonably talked about boundaries with Danny & honesty with his mom but Sam wouldn't go along, still stuck on this fallacy that Danny inherited wildness from Jason. Jason is the way he is because of a TBI not his genes. Sam continues to tow this narrow line. We know from Danny that he's not going to let her keep him from Jason.

So good that Ava took the gloves off & stopped being mealy-mouthed sweetness.

Both Steve Burton (podcast) & Laura Wright (new Digest article) mentioned that they hold back in rehearsal to save the good stuff for tape. Last week when Carly hugged Jason after he gave her the MC, that was unscripted.

Again today Maxie was so good even though I am uncomfortable about the job they're doing on Lucy. But it is thrilling to see Maxie both last week & now today seem to hit at least a couple of base hits if not a homer.

I f found it amusing that last week Finn was dismayed that the Savoy was booked for a private party so the guys couldn't have it. The gals are!

I think Britt also was making a claim of ownership on the necklace and was fighting Cody on it.  After she died I guess that claim didn't matter.  I really don't remember what happened to the necklace after Victor was killed either.  I *think* he might have had an attack of conscience and just dropped the whole thing because I don't think Cody has a legitimate claim if he's not Leo's son.  Not positive though.  Someone who was paying more attention than me might know better.

It was extremely convoluted. The necklace had remnants of the Ice Princess imbedded in it. So, in that sense it dated back to 'Luke & Laura Save the World with their friends'.

It turned up in contemporary time when Valentin was impersonating a Frenchman & Jennifer Smith got the drop on him. And, then it came back up when Cody Bell was trying to make a claim & perjured himself to try it because he knew he was not old Leo's son. And he had to be to get the inheritance. So now he doesn't want to get in trouble over his perjury or worse, a charge of fraud, etc.

I cannot remember how Britta came into it, but you're right, she did.

Now Victor wanted it & got it having to do with his cockamamie plan to save half the earth by killing half of it. No idea what happened to it.

  6. I just did a poll in my forum on the new writing. These things are automatically of limited value because the votes self-select & the group size is not large enough but I find the proportions interesting. People were to vote for anything they felt was accurate, true or that they agreed with.

  7. Those of you who don't like it when I talk about things I've heard are going to be pleased because that is over. Those of you who mistakenly think I seek attention are going to have to entertain reverse pleasure. You, jerk, who always thinks I am making things up, take that. Something I said was too accurate & got back to Frank with my name attached to it & I now have more attention than I ever have had & I effin hate it. I have no idea what. But now there is a studio-wide crackdown on leaks. Severe. Think Threat Level High. I figure it was from here because this is the only place I become stupid & say too much. OH! Those of you who don't like me, well y'all get to have a party. That is all.

Lol. That has crossed my mind, too, watching. I won't be surprised if that beat gets played, too. I might even fangirl giggle. :)

Lol. I know the running joke here has always been that I take forevvver with this show and keeping up...with the watching if not the board...but I admit that I've been consistent since PM...which was as I expected. Only a week behind come Tuesday. lol.

Even a slow week for me has a spoil of riches. So much for my eyes and mind.

Never ever did I 'evah think of you as any kind of a joke!!! NO WAY. Right now I'm behind on DAYS & am finding it impossible to catch up! I just know to be careful posting with you because sometimes you are behind & you are spoiler-averse.

I find it weird that SB is looking like a whole snack body wise. lol. That said...watching Jason with Diane and now Carly, I can't help, but feel they seem to be giving Jason the story that Drew had when he was Jason. The disconnection from Sonny, the mob (?), and that kind of life. To have a new life that is...legal. Cuz Jason wanting to use his half of Sonny's coffee business to make COFFEE??? Okay...so I expect a connection with the Quartermaines again soon. And the more they do this...it simply makes Drew look more and more irrelevant...proving Drew right about his place in Carly's life, but still...LOL.

Okay so they are not going to reveal the Drew/Nina hate sex yet. Hmmmm...interesting. Something to explode in May Sweeps? Speaking of...are we setting up for Wagger/Carly? Because it does not feel like they are going to do Jason/Carly as lovers this time around, but you can feel their connection for sure.

I have been loving Alexis's storyline. With new writers coming in...usually the new writers would just immediately come in, give Alexis her job back, and then DONE!!! I like that we are seeing Alexis long for it, debate it, see that headaches *cough*NinaGossipGuy*cough* aside she loves her new job, and just the soulsearching of it. And NLG is doing it sooo well. The ending is going to feel earned and it's been a minute to see a complete(?) character based story. It has a nice push/pull, too. Most of me is for Alexis becoming a lawyer again. Then there will be a moment where you see how good she is at the Intruder. And then alas.

But speaking of push/pull...I've been feeling that way about the writing. This past week, there was so much talking going. The audience getting into the characters' lifes. What comes to mind is Tracy teaching BLQ about money and a man's pride, Sasha in the stables, Alexis period, Curtis's progress. It feels like a little bit too much talk at times, but there's also a feeling of momentum going on. And I become curious about where it is going to go.

Speaking of...Ava with the pills. I admit I was wondering if it was going to go to some Sonny/Ava thing or a reveal that perhaps she's in cahoots with Val, but it does not seem like she's done anything with the med tempering and might now figure out someone is tempering with Sonny's meds...right as Jason, Carly, and Drew are questioning her presence in Sonny's life...is inspired.

Speaking of Val...Anna's mind is starting to click. And I love seeing Anna in Boss Bitca mode. And the fact she's slowly starting to figure out Pikeman. A cat and mouse game between her and Val who are both still smarting from their breakup...I'm down.

It seems like you're up to date on GH now, rather than behind. True? Is that because the day-to-day show is so much better? 🤔🙄😲😎😁👊🫰💯

I wonder what Neighbours submitted and what Guy Pearce submitted?

Here's a reply I got on TwiX. I asked my good friend Mark & he said this guy would know but he didn't know if he was at liberty to say. Then this guy replied. I can't interpret because I'm not familiar with the show. Perhaps someone here can expand.

Ep 1 - hair in food at cafe; lost dog; proposal in the woods (Guy Pearce)
Ep 2 - guy with dog gets dumped; paternity of son of 2 lesbians

I rolled my eyes at all the praise he was giving JG for her nomination and scenes.😂

Well, don't you think it is kind of expected that people say nice things about their scene partners? But, I get you with rolling those eyes of yours! Personally I just thought that B&B had more than their share of nods. Seemed strange.

Some of the others from Michael Fairman's Zoom. I don't think I am duplicating. Hope not.

Eric Martsoff submitted various scenes in the custody battle & commended Stacy as his scene partner in them all & then capped it with Marlena trying to talk some sense into him!

Tamara Braun: scene in the mental institution when she thought she was losing her mind. Turning the gun on the guy who tried to rape her. Easier scenes with Harris in Paris.

Allison Lanier: Summer confronting Diane after her mother died. Kyle informs Summer they need a divorce. Scene with MS when she found out she was alive.

I found Finola to be amusing. She said a producer Michele someone was helping her but as usual she procrastinated till the last moment & this producer threatened her, saying she had 23 hours or else! So, she did the accidental shooting of Charlotte, finding out Valentin had lied to her, an emotional scene with Sonny about her having shot this child & her breakup with Valentin. So, to me, she sounds strong.

Were you at the Zoom? Mike Manning looked so good & was so interesting. I thought of you & @AbcNbc247 when he was on. He not only talked about The Bay but also Tamara & DAYS & his husband who he relies on because he is unfailingly honest with him. Fairman is very good to read comments from the chat so he got a bunch of compliments, which he sorta squirmed, was quite humble & appreciative of that part. It was endearing. Seems like a really nice guy.

Newcomers will be cast, but the producers will likely look at who can handle the schedule so they don't end up losing cast members quickly. Joan Collins had an issue with the taping schedule of Guiding Light even though she is very experienced in acting.

She had something that was scheduled before she took the gig & she cleared her need for time off for it with Paul Rauch, then EP, and the one who got her for the gig. But then Paul was gone & regrettably Conboy was EP & he objected & things went to hell. It could have been prevented, should have been. But it wasn't a product of not being used to daytime. From all accounts Joan said that daytime people worked harder than anyone in the world but she buckled down & fit right in. At least this is what I recall.

He's referring to a fashion show he did with Ridge which relied on a secret ballot. Ridge won, but let Eric believe he'd won because Ridge knew Eric was dying. At the party, Eric found out that Ridge had lied, but instead of getting mad, told him that was the nicest thing he'd ever done.

Thanks so much. From context I had figured out most of it! It never hurts to get clarification.

Donna, I'm only indulging this despite having you blocked because I already addressed the rest of this mess when it got quoted in someone else's post. I never said anything about how or when SN was hired. I'm not disputing any of that. What I specifically said is that you going off the word of some Patch/Kayla fan on Twitter that Stefan and Katherine was 'always the plan' from Guza and Wendy Riche is nonsense. This is where reading and listening are fundamental and you just don't do that to anyone on this forum other than yourself. You get excited and start saying things that aren't accurate.

Now if you want to show me in black and white, in print, where Stephen Nichols or anyone else specifically claimed that Stefan and Katherine was always the plan under that creative regime, you can do so and I'll eat crow and eagerly apologize to you. But otherwise this is another example of you wanting to make yourself central to any conversation and not accepting it when you're not.

I'm sorry I misunderstood part of what you said. But what you posted is still weird. As if I were touting someone as gospel? No. And I don't think anyone who watched that could have mistaken that they were trying to recreate the "magic" of Patch & Kayla at GH. So you trying to cast aspersions on some fan who thought that is very odd. Literally, everyone thought that. And your repeated contention that I desire to be the center of attention is just bullshit & it's boring. You're better than that. So, are you now going to claim that they weren't making the mistake of trying to recreate what had worked at DAYS between the two actors? I'm anxiously awaiting that answer.

Guza actually wasn't head writer at the time.  It was Culliton then Iacobuzio/Whitesell.  Guza returned a bit later although you could feel his work once Culliton was gone.

Well, thanks again. I'm totally turned around. Clearly I've got to go look up when the Cullitons began PC with regard to this time at GH
