Larkin Douglass Watson III (February 24, 1921 — May 1, 1989) was an American actor. He was best known for his portrayal of Mac Cory on the daytime soap opera Another World.
On May 1st, 1989, Doug Watson got off a plane & went to a dude ranch for a week of R&R. The first thing he did was join an exercise class & then dropped dead of a massive heart attack.
AW was all set to celebrate Cory Publishing anniversary, all about his character, Mac Cory. There went 18 months of story.

What Jason said is what was reported from last year. The first accident (the hit-and-run) where she hit the parked car, was on the city streets of Pasadena a little while before she entered the freeway. The first car wasn't on the freeway at all.The only confusion in reporting is from outlets rushing to give updates on her sentencing deal, without actually reading the original reports.
When emergency responders (police/ambulance/etc) arrived at the at the scene of the freeway accident, they extricated her and attended to her, attended to the driver she it, and the destroyed vehicles. She was brought to the hospital etc. At some point later that night/day, or within a few minutes/hours/days later, the police realized she'd hit the first car in a completely separate incident just before she entered the freeway. So then they charged her with both accidents.
But yeah the original reports always said the first vehicle she hit was stationary or parked.I have no problem at all with this description of events regarding the hit-and-run. My point was that her car was not disabled at that point & I gave an accurate description of the wrong way, head-on crash which was the most serious part of the entire thing. If that is cleared up now, I am fine with how it stands.

After the hit-and-run she proceeded to drive on the freeway at an extreme speed, lost control & her car jumped a 2 foot barrier & was then driving the wrong way toward oncoming traffic. One car swerved to avoid her & the car immediately behind was the car she hit & both her car & that car were destroyed then.
Her car had to be moving at a high speed to create the final accident. I'm just spit-balling here but perhaps the hit-and-run was the first car, which swerved but was hit a glancing blow.
There seems to be a considerable problem in this late reporting of what actually happened.

But, I note you haven't answered my question about whether you watch GH. The thing is, you see, I am regularly seeing people give opinions about GH when in fact they are not watching the show! And, that happens to matter.

Count me as one who loved Tom Pelphrey on GL and then on OZARK.
I happened to read an article in which Matt Bomer tried to describe his role on GL & not only was it a perfect example of how convoluted soap stories sound when you try to tell them that way but, my god, how awful they were to Ben Reade!!!! My least favorite PTB of the end days, ConWest was trying to kill me, as a fan.

During her latest day in court, Haley changed her plea to no contest on one DUI and in exchange, the district attorney dropped the second DUI charge along with the hit-and-run charge.
So, it could have been worse.

I would add that I came to an appreciation of GL late. My experience of the different periods you praise is only through the Soap Classics DVDs that were put out & YouTube. I personally do feel KZ & Reva is not only an example of one character eating a show but possibly the best example. If Kim was not front burner for ONE DAY she had her special fans on the phone to the studio, complaining, loudly, with great fervor. And I hated Paul Rauch's "vision" with overlit "too bright" scenes where the women typically were only allowed to wear certain colors, A-line skirts, plunging V-neckline blouses, etc. I know people here do not but I loved Harley, Buzz & Jonathan. Also Otalia & Jami.

I got behind on DAYS. Kept trying to catch up. Failing. I've watched 3 episodes of April. So I've decided, Screw April! I'm starting fresh today, with May.
I have a question for you. Is there any particular episode I should watch having to do with Horton House?
Besides that, if you were me, is there any other specific April episode that you would watch?
