    Episode # 55 - Friday, February 24:

    - Lexie demands to know what she has walked in on between Celeste and TEK.
    - Marlena escapes from her cell.
    - John says that he knew "Alex" was dangerous but he had no idea that Alex had a connection to Stefano! John demands Alex tell him how he knows Stefano! They struggle.
    - Cassie and Max wake up next together. They're hung over. Slowly, they both begin to re-call the evening.
    - TEK and Celeste keep their secret...but Lexie pushes. Abe arrives. Lexie quickly puts it together that Abe knows that is going on between TEK and Celeste!
    - Paige locks herself in her room at the estate.
    - Marlena manages to escape to the second floor.
    - Max tells Cassie that he is just getting out of an emotional attachment and that he'd rather not jump into anything just yet. She understands and says she'll see him around.
    - John and Alex/Stefano continue to struggle.
    - TEK lies to Lexie, and she buys it hook, line, and sinker. Celeste is disgusted at how easily manipulated Lexie can be at the hands of TEK. She can't take it anymore. She rationalizes (in her mind) that she knew if she couldn't blackmail TEK into leaving town that this was what was going to happen....she tells Lexie that she and TEK slept together! Lexie is horrified.
    - Alex/Stefano gets the upperhand on John and pulls a gun on him.
    - Marlena knocks Alex/Stefano unconscious and saves John.
    - Lexie screams at her mother saying that she can't believe that she slept with a man half her age! Celeste explains that they both drank too much and that he initiated it and that it was one big mistake! Lexie's jealousy shines through. Abe turns the tables onto Lexie and asks her why she's reacting this way, citing TEK as her friend and saying her mother can do anything she wants. Lexie is shocked when she realized she may have just blown her future with Abe.
    - Caroline tells Max that she wants him to meet her grand-daughter since she has moved back to town recently, doesn't know anyone, and needs a good role model in her life. She explains that she is Roman's long-lost daughter. Max agrees to spend some time with his foster-niece. But he is beyond shocked when Caroline introduces him to CASSIE! Cassie and Max are shocked to learn that they are related (or so the Brady's think!)
    - John and Marlena re-unite! She explains that she remembered how much she loved him months ago right after she left Salem. They share a passionate kiss.

    Episode #72, Tuesday March 21:

    - Maggie, Jack, and Lexie all end up at the Salem Inn checking in around the same time.
    - Mickey and Jennifer comfort each other over the fact that they have kicked Maggie and Jack out of the houses. Meanwhile, Abe arrives looking for Jack to talk about Tony's murder.
    - Belle decides to tell Phillip that she is still in love with Shawn and always will be...once the trial is over.
    - Shawn Sr. wakes up! The doctors still declare him in criticial condition.
    - Carrie, Austin, Sami, and Lucas touch down in Chicago and head straight for the bus station.
    - Maggie tells Jack and Lexie her story about how she's started drinking again, but how she doesn't remember it - except for accidentally taking a sip of vodka at the Penthouse Grille.
    - Mickey opens up to Jennifer and Abe about the same.
    - The foursome are there when Will's bus comes into the station in Chicago, but
    - The doctors tell Caroline that Shawn Sr. looks like he will be OK in the longrun, but they need to proceed with caution.
    - Laura contemplates taking the stand in favor of Shawn and telling the courts about the sorry state of Phillip and Belle's marriage, but she realizes that she cannot break doctor/patient confidentality.
    - Jack opens up to Lexie and Maggie about how he is being forced to keep something from Jennifer and Abby in order to protect them, but how Jennifer has caught on and demands to know. He tells them that Jennifer and Abby's lives depend on him keeping this secret.
    - Jennifer tells Abe and Mickey about Jack and his secrets.
    - The countdown to the custody trial heats up and is only minutes away...but Phillip and Belle worry when Shawn nor Claire are no where to be found.
    - Victor and Caroline come to the conclusion that they are not meant to be together. They theorize that Caroline is meant to be with Shawn, and Victor is meant to be with Kate, but Caroline refuses with the latter.
    - Lexie tells Jack and Maggie about how she's cheated on Abe once again. She says that her latest indescretion is with Tek. She says that Abe will never forgive her this time.
    - Abe confesses to Mickey and Jennifer that he and Lexie are now separated becase she cheated on him once again.
    - Carrie continues to keep her pregnancy a secret, and it worries her when Austin and Sami grow closer than ever, and they share another passionate kiss. Carrie tries once again to get Austin to see that Sami has framed her for blackmailing Nicole out of town, but to no avail. Sami and Lucas fear for their son's life when they realize they truly have no idea where he is. Meanwhile, Will gets off a bus and enters a station. The front of the bus reads...."BOSTON."

    BREAKING NEWS!!!

    'DAYS' Mystery Solved!
    Kyle Brandt OUT!

    We've been plugging it for a while and promising that on March 31st a shocking twist would spell the end of someone's time in Salem. We set it up so that a lot of characters were in danger - Abe, Roman, Jack, Lexie, and Jennifer got a mystery package from Tony's murderess. And Kate and Bonnie were in a dangerous catfight. Maggie was in a car wreck. Celeste had a meeting with the Grim Reaper. It is, however, Phillip who will be leaving the canvas. His confrontation with Jan will spell the end of his run in Salem. Although, Phillip will not be dying, he will be leaving the show with no current plans to bring him back in the future. He is a core family member, and thus, the character of Phillip will always be an important part of the cast. But lately, something about the character wasn't working, and it had to be repaired. We want to take Shawn, Belle, Mimi, Rex, and Jan into a new direction, and there's just no place for Phillip right now.

    MAY SWEEPS PREVIEW!!

    MOST ACTION-PACKED MONTH EVER!

    We’re going to do something no show has ever done before which is, unofficially, kick off our sweeps period two weeks before May even starts. We’ve been wanting either to resolve stories or propel them to new levels during May sweeps, so we want to give it the ample six-week time period it necessitates. And it does necessitate this time frame. The theme of April and May is definitely secrets. Almost everyone on the show has a secret - at least someone in every story does. And this six-week time frame is going to be the time when we reveal all of them in one way or another - by either a ) telling the audience or b ) revealing it to the characters. This sweeps is going to have it all: a few dramatic exits, a wedding ceremony, a divorce, a death, pregnancy drama, a whodunit reveal, a crossover from Passions, returns, and a paternity reveal. A few exits will be occurring, as well. Stefano has launched a war on the Horton’s, the Brady’s, and the Carver’s. He’s assembled an army that consists of Cassie, Tek, Jack, and Celeste. This May, the war will reach its climax. Lives and relationships with lay in its wake! It’s going to be a very exciting time!

    Stefano/Shawn/Caroline/Victor/Kate: Stefano very obviously has this vendetta against the Brady’s. We’ll finally found out why. Shawn and Caroline will have a wedding vow renewal ceremony in May. And what would a soap wedding be if it wasn’t the center of some major drama? It is going to be a huge event that will change the course of all of the Brady’s lives.

    Stefano/Jack/Jen: Jennifer will learn the truth about Jack’s secret during the month of May. This is the big story J/J fans have been waiting for. He has done an unforgivable thing in the name of protecting his family. J/J won’t be able to get through this anytime soon….but the good news is there won’t be any third parties to take advantage of their situation. It’s just Jack and Jennifer and them picking up the pieces of their lives.

    Stefano/Celeste/Tek/Lexie/Abe: All of the secrets that have plagued the Carvers will be out on the table during this six-week sweeps period. One character will leave the show. Celeste’s secret will be exposed. It’s going to have a huge impact on Abe and Lexie.

    Lucas/Sami/Austin/Carrie: These four are going to continue their search for Will. Chris Gerst has been let go from the show so Will will be gone for a while, but he‘ll be back. Sami and Carrie’s secrets will both be exposed to all of the characters involved.

    Liam/Hope/Bo/Billie: This set will be back the second week of April. During the time they've been away, Bo and Billie have bonded a lot. Hope has led a painstaking search to find the man she was with during her time as Princess Gina. When we see her again, she will have finally found him. Bo and Billie will fall in love again on their way to find Georgia. Hope will uncover her past with Liam. All of them will find themselves back in Salem. The real Georgia will shake things up with Bo and Hope and Billie the way she should have the first time around.

    Rex/Mimi/Shawn/Belle/Jan: Mimi and Rex will be back on the scene in mid-April. He will finally have tracked her down at the Green Mountain Lodge where she’s taken refuge after her wedding disaster with Shawn. Jan is still a villainess, as readers now know. The triangle between Jan/Shawn/Belle will heat up!

    Abby/Max/Cassie: Max’s secret past will be revealed to the audience. These three will be going on an exciting adventure together to find WIll. Cassie is going to make a bold statement in May when she must finally choose between backstabbing Stefano or following through on his plans for the Brady’s.

    Marlena/John: John and Marlena free themselves from Stefano, but there is a shocking twist that comes along with it. I’m not sure daytime has ever done a storyline like this before.

    Poison Ivy: Ivy Winthrop will be heading through Salem and leave lives in shambles in her wake. She has connections to Kate, Max, and Celeste. She will help expose all of their secrets to the audience

    WHO SHOT TONY?: The first day of our May Sweeps (Friday, April 14th) will kick off with the reveal of who killed Tony. The fallout is going to be big.

    Frankie: Frankie is going to be back and find love in an unpredictable place.

    OLTL Sensation Joins 'DAYS!'




    Trevor St. John has been tapped to play the role of "The Reaper" whom Celeste will encounter. "He first showed up as a faceless image in the spring to take Phillip. Celeste made a deal with him not to kill Phillip so he obliged, but the plans were already set in motion so Phillip was still critically injured. But the Reaper is back, and he will have some chilling interactions with the cast this summer."....says the writer. "The role is going to be VERY short-term. Someone is going to die on the fourth of July. One of the children of Salem. It will be sad, but it won't necessarily be as it sounds or how fans are probably going to envision it after reading this. He will last appear on Friday, July 7th. But death is always a part of DAYS and Salem so he could be back."

    "The blog will be taking the show back to its supernatural roots, but in a good way."...says the writer. "The way it used to be and the way it SHOULD be. It will be used rarely like a nice spice. This is the first of many ways. A supernatural storyline is being planned right now for the fall. Shades of the Possession. It should have fans in a tizzy but loving it - the way it should be."

    - Cassie talks herself out of her awkwardness with Lucas and Sami when she realizes they don't know WHAT she is talking about.
    - Liam and Hope AND Bo and Billie grow closer than ever.
    - Cassie gets into another raging fight with Abby. Cassie tells Abby that she knows something she doesn't. Abby is intrigued.
    - Melissa and Frankie share a delicate kiss under the fireworks.
    - Victor tells Caroline that he will find whoever is trying to run Bella and Titan out of business, and he'll destroy them.
    - Celeste begs the Reaper to leave the kids of Salem alone, but he refuses.
    - Abe flashes back to special moments in Theo's life that he shared with Lexie as he can't believe that his marriage to Lexie is over.
    - Cassie tells Abby that she just found out that Max and Chelsea were intimate. Abby doesn't believe Cassie, but Cassie says she just heard Max telling Frankie. Abby is shocked, but she doesn't want Cassie to know that it bothers her. Abby has a "so what?" attitude. Cassie says that if "virgin" Abby can live with the mental images of her boyfriend having dirty, passionate sex with Cassie AND her dead best friend, then to have at it! Abby can't take it anymore and runs off.
    - Bo and Billie re-count all of their times together during a romantic night under the stars and the fireworks.
    - Belle confides in Marlena that sometimes she feels like she shouldn't be raising Claire and sometimes resents her. Belle is unaware that is the effects of Megan and Kate's hypnotic suggestions.
    - Abby confronts Max, who confesses that what Cassie told her is the truth. Abby lashes out at Max saying that she can't believe that Max would not have mentioned this in the last 7 months and would let her go on thinking that they hadn't been intimate. Abby says this changes everything and runs off. Max tries to run after her, but Erika suggests maybe she should go. Max says that is a bad idea because it was a fight over Chelsea, whom she looks almost exactly alike. Erika gives Max a comforting hug.
    - Carrie remembers how she first cheated on Austin about 6 or 7 years ago today when she shared a kiss with Mike. It helps her remember her deep love for Austin. She grabs him and kisses him when she sees him. He asks what that was for, and she tells him that she just never wants to lose him again and that she's sorry it took her so long to forgive him for believing Sami over her. But she asks one thing. Austin promises anything. She says if Carrie ever accuses Sami of something again, then Austin must side with Carrie and believe her over Sami, or their relationship is over for good. Austin agrees, and they kiss.
    - Bo proposes to Billie as they flashback on their greatest times with one another, and Billie is overcome with joy. She accepts Bo's proposal!
    - Georgia and Will find Mason at the front of the house and are unaware that he is drunk. Before they really get a chance to talk to him, Abby comes racing around the house crying. Will asks her what is wrong. She refuses to talk about it and just begs that someone drive her home because she's too upset to drive. Georgia and Will say they don't have their lisences so Mason volunteers. Will, Georgia, and Abby all get into the car, and Mason drives off. The Reaper warns Celeste that the time of the child's death is upon them. Celeste hears a car getting closer to the backyard. Celeste screams "No!" Everyone turns to look at her as a hush falls over the party. Mason begins scaring Abby who quickly realizes that Mason is drunk, but before she can get him to turn the car off, the car barrels into the backyard.


    Listen to the BLOG BONUS now!: The car crashes the party in slow motion. Everyone screams and yells and runs for cover. The car heads straight for Erika/Max and the children. Caroline screams for someone to save the kids. The last thing Abby sees before she throws her hands over her face is Erika and max hugging. The car plummets into the house. Mason lies on the steering wheel. The horn blares. Abby is shown unconscious in the car. Georgia and Will also lie unconscious in the back seat of the car. Claire is no where to be seen. Theo is shown crying. Zach and J.T. lie unconscious and bloody. Pregnant ladies, Carrie and Marlena, are also unconscious. The rest of the party lies in ruins.

    THE BITCHES ARE BACK!

    On Friday, July 7th, the blog revealed that two of the big returns this summer are Eileen Davidson and Louise Sorel! Kind of! "Eileen will be back. We needed her face for this BIG reveal, but when we see Kristen around Salem for the next few months, we'll be seeing the Michelle Stafford's face. November Sweeps will likely mark the end of Michelle's time on the show since her six month contract will be up, and Eileen will step into the role."...says the writer. "She's been posing as John and Marlena's baby nurse, Paris. John and Marlena are really in for it this time. As for Vivian, she's back for an undisclosed amount of time." Basically, if fans enjoy the story, she'll be staying. "The character of Vivian was amazing for five years, and then awful for her last few years. She will be restored to that vicious and lovable bitch she once was! Vivian is not going out like the victim on my watch. She deserves the chance to go out on top! She's back for revenge, baby! And she's going to get it! The bitches are back! These are two very different stories, and they have nothing to do with another, but they are also very similar. Both Kristen and Vivian are NOT back for John and Victor's hearts, but for their heads - on silver platters! Hell hath no fury like Salem's witches scorned!"


    The Days Of Patch and Kayla's Lives!?!




    Hot on the heels of the news that Stephen Nichols will be returning to the show this summer, comes news that six people from Steve's past will be popping up!

    Judi Evans (Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis), Wally Kurth (Justin Kiriakis), and Marilyn McIntyre (Jo Johnson) will be returning in August for approximately ten episodes. "I've been researching the characters since I began to look into having them back. And now, I am VERY excited for them."...says the writer. "I always said that it was sad to see Judi Evans go but that we had to let Bonnie go because she just wasn't fitting in with the rest of the characters. So, now, that problem is resolved. We're going to alter her appearance a little bit - make her more Adrienne. Adrienne and Bonnie are so vastly different, and Judi is so talented that we don't think it will be a problem for fans."

    "Their returns are obviously going to be intertwined with Nichols' return as Steve "Patch" Johnson. Fans will see Steve before then, but he won't make his return to Salem until late August which is when we will see Justin and Adrienne. Unfortunately, it's going to be a short stay, but Victor's storyline will be in full swing by then, so expect Justin and Adrienne to interact with Victor too! I'd love to write for them longer, but there's just no room! There are so many characters already on to write for. But I'd like to use them for this short time and then, maybe sporadically in the fall and winter as more and more begins to come back to Steve. So, they are potentially recurring."





    The Blog is also pleased to announce that another person who was recently let go will be returning! Matt Ashford will be reprising his role as Jack around the same time. "We can't tell this story without him!"...raves the writer. "He'll be back, and he'll be alone. He's going to be back for good! Jack with no Jen!? This is when things will really get interesting!"







    Perhaps, the most shocking bit of news for readers is the next tidbit! Michael Sabatino will be reprising his role as Lawrence Alamain and will also have a big role in Patch's return. "This is another character that I simply cannot imagine telling this story without! If fans can remember or if some fans do not know, he was seemingly responsible for faking Patch's death. He will be back for a brief return, a few months. There is going to be a big, big, big umbrella storyline that unfolds. It's unfolding before the readers' eyes already and has been for about three months. There's one big clue. It's kind of like the Da Vinci Code, only not nearly as clever - or subtle!"...the writer jokes. "It's going to be revealed during November Sweeps. So, stay tuned for that. He is going to pay for what he did to our Steve! But, I do warn you, there is a big twist coming up here in regard to how Steve 'died.' "





    Shayna Rose will be bringing the character of Stephanie Johnson to Salem in August on a recurring basis. "The cast is so jam-packed. But this story necessitates her prescence. Stephanie will be popping up in Salem in the fall when we need her, but there's no immediate story for her yet. She'll be heavily involved in the big umbrella storyline for September through November. After that? We'll see!"





    In completely unrelated news, Kyle Brandt will be reprising his role as Phillip Kiriakis in early August. "It's really going to hit the fan. If readers remember how he was written out and think about how his return will affect Jan/Shawn/Belle, they should be pretty excited for the movement in that story." His return is temporary.

    Episode #155 - Friday, July 14:

    - Kayla grieves Steve. She tells Caroline that she's never been able to move on without him.
    - Abe tells Lexie that they are over - FOREVER - and to move on with her life. He informs her that HE is moving on with his plans to get custody of Theo.
    - Hope, Liam, and the Hortons mourn Mason's death at his funeral.
    - Bo and Billie vow to keep their engagement a secret for a few weeks, in light of recent events.
    - Carrie and Alan do lunch at Salem Place. Carrie is shocked at how he really has changed.
    - Everyone is taken aback by how comforting Billie is towards Hope.
    - Kayla tells Caroline that as a doctor, she's seen many wives and husbands grieve and been able to move on. She says she doesn't understand why Steve still occupies every waking second of her mind like it did when they were first in love.
    - Hope and Liam share their memories of Mason at the funeral. Georgia is also very sad since she was just getting to know him.
    - Alan tells Carrie over the last 12 years he has married a wonderful woman in Ohio, and they adopted three great kids. Carrie is impressed that Alan seems to have turned his life around. Carrie asks him why he's returned to Salem.
    - At the burial site, Hope says goodbye to Mason. Emotions run high. After the burial, Billie drops her purse leaving the cemetary. Hope helps her pick up the contents of the purse. She is shocked to find Billie's engagement ring! Hope asks Bo and Billie if they are engaged.
    - Alan tells Carrie that things just didn't work out with his wife who has filed for divorce. He says it's all very amicable, but he had to return to his roots and his hometown for some perspective and some clarity.
    - Before Billie and Bo can answer Hope's question, a man walks into the graveyard. He apologizes, but says he was ordered to deliver these immediately. He looks very guilty for arriving at such a place. He asks who Bo and Hope Brady are. Hope says she is now divorced from Mr. Brady, but she is Mrs. Brady and points to Bo as Mr. Brady. She asks what this is about. He, then, hands Hope papers. Hope grows angry. Bo asks what is going on. Hope tells him that she and Bo are being sued by Lexie.....for custody of ZACH!
    - While Kayla grieves and stares at a picture of Steve, a man drives down a long dark winding road. He pulls off the side of the road. He gets out of the car. On the side of the road, a sign reads "Welcome to Illionois." "Sixteen years I've been driving around this damn country trying to figure out who the hell I am."...says the voice. "Every damn time, I always find my way back to you, Illinois. It's time I found out why." The man....is Steve "Patch" Johnson.





    Next Week On DAYS:

    - Patch, Patch, Patch! So many questions! So little answers!
    - Sami and Lucas will live many parents' worst nightmare when they learn the truth about Will.
    - Billie learns a horrifying truth that will change her life with Bo forever.
    - Victor and Vivian come face to face.
    - One character attempts suicide in a shocking scene that could only be done on the blog and NEVER on daytime!

    Episode #160 - Friday, July 21:

    BLOG BONUS: "Wonderwall" by Ryan Adams

    - Abe, Lexie, and Theo get stranded in the elevator at the Penthouse Grill.
    - Megan tortures Belle while Shawn and Jan finally return to Salem.
    - Greta realizes that maybe it's better never to tell John and Marlena the truth about his being her father. Meanwhile, Kristen recalls how she overheard that secret and is plotting to use it to her advantage.
    - The Penthouse Grill is taken aback with looks of shock and horror at Will's confession. Lucas and Sami look to one another and then immediately run to the balcony. Will asks Cassie if that was broadcasted to the entire room. Will can tell from the look on Cassie and Georgia's faces that it was. Will is crushed. Austin feels guilty. Sami and Lucas enter the balcony with emotions that run the gamut - they have looks of shock, relief, fear, anger, and disappointment.
    - Abe informs Lexie that he is leaving Salem with Theo. Lexie breaks down.
    - Megan forces Belle to an emotional breakdown when she uses the speakers in Belle's apartment to push her over the edge of her depression and anxiety.
    - Abe tells Lexie that he can trace the destruction of their marriage back to when she found out she was a Dimera. He tells her that he hopes it was worth it because it has now cost her her marriage and son.
    - Cassie and Georgia leave the balcony while Carrie, Caroline, and Marlena join Lucas, Sami, Will, and Austin on the balcony. Sami asks Will if it's true. She asks Will if he's gay. Will begins to shed tears over the embarassment of having this come out so publically and because of the fear. But he wipes away the tears and turns to face Sami and Lucas. He confirms it.
    - Belle can't take it anymore. She begins slamming things all over the apartment and pulling on her hair. She runs to the bathroom saying over and over that she can't take this post-partum depression anymore. Belle takes out razor blades.
    - Eric senses something wrong in Annie. He asks her what she is hiding or keeping. Annie breaks down telling him that no man has ever truly loved her for who she is, and she worries that she is once again falling for a man who will leave her one day and leave her more heartbroken than she was when he found her. Eric promises that won't happen. He explains to Annie that he's been hurt in the past, as well, and he would never break her heart. Eric and Annie kiss passionately. Greta sees this and hears the last bit of their conversation. She recalls Celeste's premonition that she will find happiness with someone who is not Jack, Austin, or Eric! Meanwhile, a messenger finds Greta and presents "Princess Von Amburg" with a telegram.
    - Sami lashes out at Will telling him that she can't believe he would do this to her. Will explains that this isn't about her and has nothing to do with her. Sami begins crying and asks Will if it is something she and Lucas did wrong. Will lashes back asking where he should begin to point out the mistakes she has made in parenting. But then he retracts, saying that has nothing to do with it. Sami asks how long Will has known about this. Will says a few years and that is why he ran away from home in the spring. Sami asks Will if he has ever been with a man, and he says that he hasn't. Sami suggests that he really doesn't know then what he is! Will tells Sami that he knows. Sami breaks down even more. Lucas tries to calm Sami and Will down. Lucas tells Will that they will love him no matter what, he deserves the right to be happy. Why should he have to live his life pretending he's someone he isnt?...Lucas says. Sami is taken aback by Lucas' public and opposite stance against her on this issue. Lucas tells Sami that he will not disown his son because of something like this, and parenting is not conditional. Sami says that he is right. Sami tells Will that he will have to start going to counseling with Fr. Francis and Marlena, and they will fix this. Will says that he doesn't want to be fixed! Sami tells him that this is against everything she was raised to believe and against the church, but Will fires back saying Sami has never thought about morals before. Sami then lashes out at Austin for keeping this secret from her and Lucas. But Will says that he couldn't have gotten through it without him. Lucas thanks Austin. Sami again is outraged at Lucas' opposite stance and yells at Lucas. Marlena, Carrie, and Caroline try to get Sami to calm down and see Will and Lucas' points of view. Sami refuses. Sami says that she refuses EVER to be ok with Will being gay!
    - Abe and Lexie recount 13 plus years of memories together in Salem through a montage of flashbacks. Lexie is in tears like Abe has never seen her. The elevator is fixed and begins working. Abe allows Theo and Lexie to say goodbye to each other. After Lexie and Theo say their emotional goodbye to one another, Abe tells Lexie that he will let them know his address when they get settled in. Abe and Theo leave the elevator and the building....and Salem. Lexie breaks down, screaming.
    - Sami storms off of the balcony. Lucas follows her and tells Will that he loves him, and they will get through this as a family and not to worry. Lucas hugs and kisses Will. Carrie, Austin, Marlena, and Caroline try to comfort Will, but he thanks them and asks if he can be left alone.
    - Shawn and Jan see that the door to Belle's loft is open. They walk in and find the place trashed. They make their way around the loft and can't find Belle or Claire. Jan finally finds Claire in her crib. Shawn walks into the bathroom to find the graphic scene of Belle in the bathtub filled with her own blood. Shawn begins screaming and crying and pulls Belle from the tub, screaming for Jan to call 9-1-1. Shawn holds Belle close and rocks her back and forth.

    LISTEN TO THE BLOG BONUS NOW!: Eric and Annie kiss passionately. Greta reads her telegram with shock. Austin and John gently kiss their mothers-to-be. But Annie and Kristen separately look on because they know what is coming. Abe packs up his things and Theo's things. They turn the lights off in their house and exit. Lexie smashes everything she can find at the Penthouse Grill and falls to the floor in tears. Sami is crying. Lucas comes up from behind her and hugs her. Will sits on the balcony and cries. Georgia and Cassie look on from inside the Penthouse Grille and, knowing he must be alone, fight the urge to comfort Will. Jan keeps Claire far from the bathroom where Shawn is holding a lifeless, naked, bloody Belle. The paramedics enter and rescucitate Belle and put her on a stretcher. Shawn is in tears like never before when Belle is wheeled out of the apartment. It is clear that Devastation has swept through Salem and left many victims in its wake!

    Episode #161 - Monday, July 24:


    - Lexie vows to get Zach back from Bo and Hope at any cost.
    - Billie and Patch arrive in Salem. Billie takes him to the Salem Inn where she sets him up with a room. She tells him that he should get some rest, but she will be by in the morning with her fiance who is a detective and will help him figure out if he has connections to Salem.
    - Will returns to the apartment where Sami and Lucas wait for him.
    - Greta is shocked at the contents of the telegram she's gotten! Greta faints!
    - Belle is rushed to the hospital. Shawn calls Marlena, John, Sami, and Carrie to let them know what has happened. They all rush to the hospital to be with Belle. Kayla stabilizes Belle.
    - Sami and Will get into it again. Sami tells Will that counseling will get him through this and get him over it. But he tells her that he is whom he is, and he wishes he could change it, but he can't!
    - Marlena, John, and Carrie cannot believe that Belle has tried to commit suicide, but Marlena says she can. She breaks down in John's arms saying that she saw the warning signs and was worried about Belle's mental health weeks ago. John tells Marlena that she needs to calm down because this isn't good for the baby. John tells her that Belle will be OK and feeling so guilty is not going to help anyone.
    - Jan can see that Shawn still loves Belle and is outraged about it. Kate arrives at the hospital and immediately runs into Megan. Jan tells Megan and Kate what has happened. When alone, Kate lashes out at Megan for not stopping the gaslighting when she told her to. Megan tells Kate to back off - they've both gotten what they wanted now - revenge on Belle!
    - Kristen wishes Belle died and recalls how she tried to kill her before Susan locked her in the Harem prison.
    - Having left the hospital, Kayla dreams of Steve while Steve dreams of the woman's face he saw when he was near death in his car accident- Kayla!
    - Sami tells Will that she wants him to stay with his grandma Caroline. Will and Lucas are both shocked and appaulled, but Sami insists. Lucas tells Will to comply fo now and that he will talk to Sami and try and get her to understand. He tells Will that he loves him and that they will get through this.
    - Eric rushes to Greta's side, and Annie is furious. Greta tells Eric to leave her alone. She says he has a life now with his girlfriend and that she doesn't want a part of it. When alone, Greta reads the telegram aloud..."Princess Greta Von Amburg, It has recently come to our attention that the inheritance of the Von Amburg estate hinges upon a heavy stipulation. It is with deep regret that I must inform you that a hold, effective immediately, has been placed upon your inheritance and assets. It has recently come to our attention that the only way you could have and will be able to have access to your inheritance or the Von Amburg Assets, would have been and will be if you become the wife of a prince by your 30th birthday - September 15th, 2006. I am very sorry, Princess Greta. I do hope you find a way to complete the stipulations your mother has placed before you."
    - Will walks to his car in the parking garage of his parents' building and is prepared to go to his grandmother's when he sees the word "FAG!" has been spraypainted on his car. Will is hurt, but a shiver is sent down his spine. Kids from an apartment on the floor above them walk by with their parents. The kids are laughing. The parents usher their kids by Will quickly while giving him looks of judgement. An upset Will gets into the car and speeds off.

    WHO'S GOING!? AND HOW WILL THEY LEAVE!

    According to the writer of the blog, up to five very popular characters/actors might find themselves off the show....temporarily, that is! "The blog really is like a big stove right now! We're constantly moving things from the frontburner to the backburner and vice versa."...says the writer. "With Justin, Adrienne, Jo, Stephanie, Lawrence, and Jack coming on very soon, the Steve/Kayla story is going to be moved to the forefront. The Alan story will also be featured heavily throughout the month of August. Maggie and Lance will be coming back to Salem so that's another story that will be moved frontburner. Consequently, some of the stories have to be moved off the frontburners to make some room. And we will do this by sending some characters on their way for about two months until Novemember Sweeps." Hope, Abby, Celeste, Cassie, Shawn, Georgia, Belle, and Lexie are all names being bandied about as of right now. "We'll see!"

    "The big stories of August and September will be Greta/Frankie/Melissa, Steve/Kayla, and Sami/Lucas/Alan. They're going to be the biggies!"...previews the scribe. "August is going to be amazing. Every episode is going to pack a huge punch. There's so much story to tell in every facet of the show right now."



    Casting About: The show is looking to cast Jeremy Horton, the son of Mike Horton. Jeremy is a sexy, yet wholesome young man in his mid-twenties. He is a gentleman and a true Horton through and through! Suggestions are welcomed and encouraged!



    Watch Out: On Friday, September 1st, a murder mystery is going to kick off as one of the show's baddies will bite the dust!


    Oh, the possibilities: The blog has a daring and unique idea that would take DAYS back to its supernatural storytelling, but it is unsure whether it wants to tell the story. "It's definitely crazy and farout, and it will have fans freaking out and not knowing what the hell is going on! I am just not sure if I want to tell it though! We'll see."


    Heads Will Roll!: Well, it's almost Sweeps Time again! And that can only mean one thing on the blog - pink slips! "It definitely is becoming a trend of killing or writing quite a few people off during sweeps, but it always works because it opens up so much story and propels the story further. And it definitely keeps fans interested and excited. At LEAST two people will meet some kind of end during Novemeber Sweeps. I can promise already that November Sweeps is going to be non-stop action and drama."

    Shawn is Cook-ed!

    As the blog has previously reported, the show is going to systematically phase out five or six characters in order to feature other and new storylines that have recently been backburnered. The blog is now announcing that Shawn is one of those characters. "Shawn really is a great character when in the right hands, and Cook is a capable actor, but it is rumored that the real show is re-casting, and the blog is also very interested in a re-cast."...says the writer. "The blog's goal all along has been to take the current DAYS and prove how good and can be while making realistic and believable changes. I want there always to be some congruency between the real show and the blog. So, some of the casting decisions the real show does will be the same on the blog. And this is one of those cases."

    As for Shawn, "the character is going to be going through some major changes this month. His life will be turned upside down and inside out! And Cook will last air in late August/early September. He will be back in the fall. He will more than likely be played by the person DAYS has chosen to re-cast Shawn with, but anything is possible! Cook could be back if the re-cast does not impress! However, I have a feeling he will."

    Shawn is just one of a bunch of characters who will be leaving the show in August and September in storyline dictated moves - only to be brought back in an exciting and riveting November Sweeps and December!

    It is now known that Tonya Boyd's Celeste is one of the many characters who will be exiting the show this August and September for the rest of the fall. Surely, this will upset many fans. Will she back? "Are you kidding!? OF COURSE SHE'LL BE BACK!"...says the writer. "She's been featured very heavily right from the blog's first week in December. She will be back - do not worry!"


    She will go out with a bang, however. "She will indeed go out in a dramatic fashion. She's going to uncover a secret she shouldn't. And she'll pay the consequences!"


    The writer hints the actress will last "air" during the week of August 7th.

    - Everyone at the Brady Pub is overjoyed when.....Jo, Vern, Adrienne, and Justin walk into Steve's "Welcome Home" party!
    - Melissa begins crying over what she just heard Frankie and Greta saying. She runs away. Greta realizes that Melissa has heard them and tells Frankie to run after her!
    - Will and Alan grow even closer, and it really begins to creep Sami out.
    - The rift between Sami and LUcas grows even further when they get into a fight over Will's sexuality and also fall into a trap that Alan has set to get them fighting.
    - Eric and Annie discuss their future.
    - Liam tells Billie that she is talking nonsense. Billie tells Liam that she is a no nonsense person and is not backing down from this!
    - Bo and Hope fear what will happen at the custody trial for Zach. They still can't believe Lexie is doing this.
    - Adrienne and Jo are overcome with emotions when they see Steve. Steve tells them her does remember them, but there are still huge gaps in his memory so it's hazy. Adrienne and Steve have an emotional and unforgettable reunion!
    - Melissa and Frankie just miss each other all over Salem.
    - Alan plants reminder's of Carrie's relationship with Mike all over Austin's apartment. Carrie is shocked to see them since she distinctly remembers packing them away, but the LITTLE trinkets begin to cause a HUGE impact on Austin and Carrie's relationship.
    - The party at the Pub is crashed when the news comes in about Victor's heart attack! Justin rushes to the hospital, but he begs Adrienne to stay with Steve at the Pub.
    - Greta tells Austin that Frankie would like to help her fulfill the obligations of her mother's will in order to help Melissa acquire funding to help her win custody of her children.
    - Frankie and Melissa finally come face to face, but she does not want to hear it from him!
    - Annie and Eric make a commitment to one another.
    - Lucas and Sami are bothered when the police tell them they have no evidence to go on to finding Will's attacker.
    - Alan realizes that Will has no idea how Alan knows Sami from all of those years ago - Will does not know that Alan raped Sami!
    - Ashley and Max get into a heated fight at the Pub. She begins to storm out when she comes face to face with......"DADDY!?!?!"....she says in shock as she runs outside of the Pub and throws her arms around Jack! Jack says that he had to stop the search for Jennifer when he got Abby's message. He realized that it is too important for her to have her parents in her life. Abby tells Jack that she has something to tell him. When he asks what it is, she tells him to walk inside the Pub. He does. Jack is overwhelmed by shock when he sees Steve! He can't believe it, but as he approaches Steve, he sees that this is true and really happening. Jack sees Adrienne as well, and Jack begnis to get teary. Jack shares an emotional reunion with Steve, Adrienne, and Jo!

    Episode #224 - Thursday, October 19, 2006:

    - Will attacks Alan and punches him in the face. Eric, Austin, and Lucas intervene and carry Will away from him.

    - Jeremy leaves the apartment complex when he gets a cell phone call. In the hallway, he meets up with the caller - Roman (Josh Taylor)! Roman explains that Alice, Jeremy’s great-grandmother, called him and told him to come to town because his daughters need him.

    - Alan tries to manipulate Will into thinking that he’s changed and that this wasn’t his evil plan from the beginning. Alan lies and gives a heartfelt apology to Will, Sami, Lucas, Austin, Carrie, and Eric. He says that he’s a changed man. He’s paid for what he did to Sami, and he really is in love with Will. Will begins to fall for Alan’s lies.

    - Sami and Lucas beg Will not to fall for Alan’s lies. But Alan is too good, and Will asks Sami and Lucas if they think it’s possible that maybe, just maybe, Alan is telling the truth. Jeremy comes forward and tells Will to grow a pair and get some brains. Everyone is taken aback by Jeremy’s bluntness.

    - Jeremy tells everyone that his first night in town he overheard Alan talking to himself on the docks, saying that how he came back to town for revenge on Sami, Lucas, Austin, and Carrie and how he was closer than ever to getting it – finally! Will is shocked and asks Jeremy if he swears he is telling the truth. Jeremy says he swears on his great-grandmother’s (Alice) life. He explains that he heard all of Alan’s sick plans for them. Jeremy warns Will that the worst is yet to come. Will doesn’t understand.

    - Jeremy tells Will that in order to take advantage of Will, he had to get Will in a vulnerable emotional state and easily influenced and manipulated. And, Jeremy explains…..Alan did this by attacking Will! Jeremy exposes Alan as Will’s “gay-basher.” Alan is shocked. He did not know Jeremy knew those details. Lucas, Sami, and Will are in shock. Will asks Alan if it’s true – if he attacked him, if their relationship has been nothing more than a lie. Alan stays silent. Jeremy tells Alan to admit that it’s true! Alan does. Lucas, Austin, Carrie, Eric, Sami, and Will all want to approach Alan and hurt him, but Roman comes between them all. Jeremy explains that this is why he asked Alice to have Roman be here tonight. Jeremy says that Roman must arrest Alan for Will’s assault!

    - Carrie begins to wonder what Alan could have done to get revenge on her and Austin. Sami and Austin recall how Carrie remembered giving birth to a healthy baby boy, the hospital said she had a stillborn baby, and how the baby’s first round of DNA tests confirmed that the baby was not Austin and Carrie’s. Carrie asks Austin if she thinks Alan had something to do with their baby’s disappearance. Austin thinks Carrie could be onto something.

    - Roman cuffs Alan and reads him his rights. Alan demands that Roman arrest Will and Lucas for assaulting him as well. Roman tells Alan to shut the hell up! As Roman is taking Alan out of the apartment complex, Carrie yells “WAIT!” They stop and turn. Carrie approaches Alan and asks him what he did to her and Austin for revenge. Alan clams up. Carrie asks Alan where her baby is. Alan is confused. Carrie says that she knows Alan lied and has manipulated them all into thinking her baby has died. Alan tells Carrie that he has no idea what she’s talking about. Sami flashes a look of guilt knowing she’s the one who stole Carrie’s baby. Carrie runs to Alan and jumps on him, hitting him and screaming and scratching him. *FREEZE FRAME.*

    - Max and Abby stop their almost-lovemaking and laugh when they realize they were about to give into the throws of passions in the hospital. Max tells her that her first time needs to be special. Abby tells Max that she wants to lose her virginity to Max...tonight. Max promises to make it special for her.
    - Meanwhile, a bellhop loads luggage onto a cart at a posh hotel. The girl in the room thanks him. She is wearing a scarf and sunglasses. She gets into an elevator with the bellhop and walks down to the lobby. There is a car waiting for her. Shane Donavan (Charles Shaugnessy) stands at the car. "Miss Dimera"...he says as he opens the door. "Is it safe now?"...the girl says. After Shane assures her that she is safe, she removes the scarf and sunglasses....it's CASSIE! But the biggest shock of all is when she turns to reveal that she is VERY much PREGNANT!

    - Steve remains pinned underneath the fiery beam. He joins Lexie, Liam, Lawrence, Bo, and Hope who lay unconscious while the warehouse falls apart from the flames.
    - John begs Kristen to give him a chance to meet his son.
    - Sami tells Ausin and Carrie to cut their crap and drop their high and mighty attitudes!
    - Kristen tells John that she is not the monster she thinks she is. She says the only motivation she has ever had is love - her love for him!
    - Vivian and Kate struggle to find a model for their runway show with only a few hours left.
    - Sami informs Austin and Carrie that they could have just as easily killed Alan if they thought he kidnapped their baby, which they DID think! Carrie and Sami continue to get into it. Sami is a drunken mess and insults Carrie telling her she would have been an awful mother anyway. Carrie SMACKS Sami in the face.
    - Kristen introduces John to his baby boy! John breaks down as he holds the baby in his arms.
    - Hope awakens amidst the flames. She sees Liam, Lexie, and Bo unconscious next to each other. She rushes to their sides. She cannot wake Bo and Lexie up!
    - John tells Kristen that there is no chance for them now. He tearfully asks her to understand this. Kristen also breaks down and through tears, she tells John that she knows she will never be with him now.
    - Sami charges Carrie, but Lucas and Eric keep her away. Eric tells them that they need to figure out what to do because the Alan's shooter is someone in this room! They all look at each other in suspicion. Meanwhile, Will has a terrible nightmare.
    - Liam awakens and grabs Hope! Liam explains to her that he will get her out of the building in time and get them to safety.
    - Vivian and Kate's problems are solved with a refreshed Georgia Brady (Peyton List) walks into her Grandma Kate's office after having just returned to town! They approach Georgia about being their star model in the Titan vs. Alamain Fashion show.
    - Kristen informs John that she and Lexie have both decided to give back the babies they have taken from their rightful parents. Kristen explains that she was going to give the baby boy back before he found her. John doesn't believe her. Kristen explains that he should ask Lexie if he has any doubts, but John explains Lexie is just another evil Dimera. Kristen tells John she will let him walk out of here with his baby right now on ONE condition.
    - Liam and Hope struggle as he tries to remove her from the building, but she tells him she isn't leaving without Bo and her family and friends! Hope breaks free. Liam grabs her once again. She uses her training as a police officer to force him off. They struggle. Hope tells him that she doesn't know how she ever fell for a man like him, even if she was Princess Gina! Liam tells Hope that he will do anything to hold onto her. Liam sees Lawrence's gun. He grabs it and aims it at Hope. Back in Salem, Celeste wakes up and screams DEATH, DEATH, DEATH! The nurses come and sedate her from her violent rage. Suddenly, a huge fiery pillar falls down on Liam, setting him on fire. Liam screams in pain and agony. Hope turns to see the ceiling collapse in on Bo and Lexie. Hope lets out a blood curtling scream!

    - Annie realizes Austin and Carrie don't have alibis.
    - Hope and Kayla are in shock and horror as they look at the warehouse explode and fall crashing into to the ground. They clutch each other and scream for the loves of their lives. Bo, Shane, Steve, Liam, Lawrence, and Lexie all remain missing.
    - John and Kristen strike up a deal. As he holds his baby in his arms and has an emotional meeting with his son, John agrees to Kristen's deal.
    - Sami and Annie manage to cover in front of Lucas and Eric. Annie begs Eric to give her another chance. Eric tells Annie that the only way he'll give her another shot is if she confesses her and Sami's secret to him.
    - Shane emerges from the flames with.......LAWRENCE! Lawrence is in handcuffs. An emotional Kayla runs to Lawrence and begins hitting and pounding him. Shane comes between them as he places Lawrence in the hands of other I.S.A. agents. Kayla breaks down in Shane's arms saying that she can't believe she has lost Steve once again. Shane holds Kayla, and they fall to the ground.
    - John asks Kristen what the details of their agreement are.
    - Annie asks Sami to help her win Eric back, but Sami tells Annie that their partnership is over. Annie tells Sami that she has information about Carrie and Austin that Sami wants to know. Sami agrees to Annie's deal. Sami and Annie concoct a fake secret for Annie to tell Eric.
    - Lawrence is taken away by the I.S.A. Agents, but first, Kayla and Hope each have choice words for him. They explain that if anything has happened to their husbands, then they will track him down in whatever prison he is in and kill him themselves. Lawrence warns them they haven't seen the last of him. Fiesty Hope snarls back that it's the other way around...Lawrence hasn't seen the last of THEM!
    - John is horrified when he learns of the terms of Kristen's deal. John tells her there is no way he will do this. Kristen calmly explains to John that he needs to do this if he wants to keep his baby and if he wants to re-unite Marlena with their son. John refuses.
    - Sami "confesses" Annie's secret to Eric....Sami tells Eric that Annie thought she was pregnant! Eric does not believe that this was the secret, but when he calls the lab technician who ran her pregnancy tests, he confirms it. Unknown to Eric, this is the same man Annie and Sami blackmailed into helping them declare Carrie's baby "dead." Eric and Lucas feel guilty as they realize they assumed the worst about Sami and Annie.
    - Kristen snatches the baby from John's arms. John has a tearful goodbye with his baby. He can't take it. John agrees to do the mysterious task that Kristen has asked of him.
    - A body burned beyond recognition is pulled from the flames and pronounced dead on the scene. Shane approaches Hope and Kayla with a horrible look on his face. Each woman shakes her head no. Shane takes Kayla's hand and places something inside it. Kayla begins screaming and flailing her arms. Hope tries to calm her. Through the flailing, Kayla drops the item. Hope picks it up....Steve's dog tags. Kayla's high-pitched shrieks can be heard throughout the streets of London. FREEZE FRAME.

    BIG EXITS DURING SWEEPS!

    As readers now know, Alan Dale (Lance Avalon), Scott Holroyd (Alan Harris), Grant Alexander (Liam Alcantar), and Michael Sabatino (Lawrence Alamain), have recently been written out of the show recently during sweeps. What they may not know is that Renee Jones (Lexie Dimera) has recently been written out, as well..

    “I have tried to up the ante this month. Things are really heating up!”…exclaims the writer. “I don’t think many readers will miss Liam or Lance. Maybe a few. But for the most part, fans should enjoy the characters’ departures. Lawrence’s return was meant to be temporary. When he joined, we announced he’d be leaving in November.”

    The departure of Renee Jones is probably the most shocking. “She’s a great talent, but there is no place for Lexie in the blog right now. The good news is James Reynolds (Abe Carver) will be returning during November Sweeps to help see Lexie off, but it's not what you might think.”

    “As for Holroyd, he was great as Alan. Perfect. But his exit was mandatory. He was the nastiest, most evil man to hit Salem in a long, long time. He did sick, twisted, dark, evil things, and he had to pay! His exit is going to kick off quite a storyline. There are events in everyone's life that separates the first part of their life from everything that follows that big event. Will, Sami, and Lucas will look back on their lives and say that this was the turning point of their lives."

    - John waits on the call from the I.S.A. letting him know if the deal is done....meanwhile Kristen speaks to John and Marlena's baby boy and recalls how John has asked the I.S.A. to grant her immunity for all of her past crimes so he can get his and Marlena's baby back!
    - Kayla and Steve have an emotional reunion at the site of the explosion. They share a passionate kiss, and he does not turn away as he has been doing recently.
    - Bo and Hope also have a touching reunion at the site of the explosion. Hope tells Bo that she knows now more than ever that they are meant to be together.
    - In Salem, Jack accompanies Billie to the hospital for her check-up since she has received her final chemotherapy session.
    - Abby awakens. Max and Abby are shocked to see a very pregnant Cassie standing in the doorway.
    - Shawn (Brandon Beemer) continues to lurk in the background at the fashion show while he watches Belle who relishes in the fact that her designs are being modeled so beautifully!
    - Marlena and Shane help get Bo, Hope, Kayla, and Steve back to the hotel where they wait on word of Lexie who is still lost in the explosion. Shane gets a call about Lexie's fate.
    - The doctor tells Billie that she has big news for her.
    - John gets a call from the I.S.A. saying that the ISA has followed through on their end of the bargain and has granted Kristen immunity for all of her past crimes.
    - Shane tells Marlena that Lexie's body was recovered from the explosion. She's alive...but he tells Marlena that they need to get in touch with Abe as soon as possible.
    - Abby and Max ask Cassie what the hell is going on. He asks Cassie if this is his baby and says that it can't be. Cassie tells Max that she is six months pregnant and that the timeline matches up perfectly. Abby is devastated and says that it can't be. Cassie tells Abby that it's true and to get used to her because her boyfriend is the father of her baby! Abby runs from the room crying, her dreams of making love to Max ruined. Max demands a paternity test immediately!
    - Georgia (Peyton List) blows everyone away as she is one of the most beautiful and natural models Kate, Vivian, Belle, and Victor have ever seen. As the Alamain Fashion Show continues and nears its climax, Victor picks up the phone and says "Now" into the phone. One of Victor's henchmen arrives at the circuit breaker of the building and hits it with a pipe. The lights go out. Everyone gasps and wonders what is going on. Victor is pleased that he has ruined his rival's fashion show. Kate and Vivian order a techie to fix the lighting, but he explains someone smashed the circuits. He tells them the fashion show must end. Just then, the circuits spark. They spark more and more. Unbeknownst to everyone in the building, a fire begins.
