  1. IMO both. I suspect the stress of having his lies collapse around him has begun to take a toll but I have no doubt he was playing it up. Of course maybe Camille is tired of him and has started kicking his ass.
  2. Santa came late but he dropped off one last present before the end of the year. Arrest warrant issued for Bill Cosby. I guess a perp walk is too much to ask for. ETA: A perp walk! On video! Yay!
  3. It's the desire to make Trump seem like a legitimate contender but the numbers don't back that up. I've seen some Sanders fans say that if Bernie doesn't get the nom they'll vote for Trump but I don't know how many of them really mean it.
  4. This is kind of an older story but I only just saw it today. The prosecutor who didn't pursue charges against Cosby ten years lost his election last month when his opponent made that fact known. http://www.people.com/article/kevin-steele-bruce-castor-andrea-constand-district-attorney
  5. Has anybody explained to Bill that by filing these suit he's very likely to get deposed under oath?
  6. Joan at the School of Rock premiere. She looks good! Embed from Getty Images Thank you. So. Much.
  7. I feel like the show needs an end date one or two seasons in the future so they can start working towards something that sticks. I feel like we keep recycling stories: the group finds a safe place, they encounter a second group, Group B is evil or at least their leader is, Group A fights back, somebody doesn't want to kill people which leads to a bunch of red shirts getting killed, safe place is destroyed, the group splits, survivors begin to wander, the group reconstitutes itself, they find another safe place. Lather rinse repeat. What is the endgame for this show?
  8. There's a whole lot of people on this show who need to look at the flowers. I'm so tired of the "I don't want to kill" losers endangering everybody else. I don't care what incarnation that character takes be it Herschel, Tyrese, Morgan, etc... they are a liability. They always end up getting other innocent people hurt or killed. Always. Thanks to Morgan's high mindedness, Carol's unconscious, they lost a couple of guns and Denise, the town doctor, is probably on her way to a grisly death. Then there are the cowards: Father Pee Pants and Eugene. The world has been changed for at least a couple of years. There's no reason for the continued existence of people like this. I'm also really tired of scenes where someone pulls [!@#$%^&*] like Ron did and Carl excuses it. It's the same thing we saw with Glenn and Nicholas. Glenn kept trying to save Nicholas and how many people paid the price for that? It's isn't noble to protect these people from the consequences of their actions. It isn't good for the community to disregard blatantly dangerous incompetence. Everybody in that house was fairly safe until Porchdick Jr. decided to follow in his father's footsteps. All they had to do was hunker down and wait but no, that was the moment his emo ass decided it was the right time to commit himself some murder. As for Sam, they've indulged his childish fears too much and it's going to cost them. We can already see his whiny little meltdown coming. This show is getting very frustrating because I feel like it tells the same story over and over.
  9. I think it's both. I feel like Clara's end should've come at the Christmas special. At the same time, one of the issues inherent with time travel as a plot device is the possibility that anything that happens can be undone. It's gotten harder and harder for me to invest in any character but it's especially hard for to invest in Clara because she's gone from being Oswin to the Impossible Girl (which they don't even mention at her death scene?) to this attempted bootleg Doctor. I don't hate Clara the way a lot of people do but I've rarely been able to invest in her. Not with the Doctor(s) or with Danny. In fact, the only times I've ever really liked Clara has been when she's interacted with her students. But if I'm honest I have to say that something about this season just isn't working for me. I love Capaldi something about this season just feels off. Like I'm waiting for something to happen that will make this all cohesive and real.
  10. I knew Jenna was leaving this season but I didn't know it would be this episode. As Clara was saying her goodbye, I kept expecting a last minute save which shows just how low the stakes are for me and this show. Nothing feels like it matters anymore. I couldn't have cared less about Clara's death.
  11. Josh Casaubon (ex Hugh Hughes, OLTL) was on the latest episode of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."
  12. While I certainly agree that more needs to be done to make higher education affordable and to keep advanced education from leaving someone in hock for 20 years, I personally would rather see more focus on improving public K-12 education. Mr. Oh So Moderate John Kasich has run such a scam on this state with charter schools. He's funneled millions of dollars to his cronies and the schools they've started perform worse than many of the failing public schools at twice the price. Of course the media hasn't bothered to come to Ohio to interview anyone about what Kasich has done to this state so they let him sit up on the debate stage and claim that Ohio is doing well when we are 47th in job creation and have a heroin problem that's burning through the state like a wild fire. But I digress... I was having a discussion online with someone about the Spring Valley assault and he asked "Why don't we hear about problems like these in other countries?" After explaining that unless you consume the media in those countries you wouldn't so the assertion is a non sequitur, I pointed out that one of the easiest ways to reduce discipline problems is to reduce class size but that means hiring more teachers and we know what Republicans think about investing in public education. Other countries have better outcomes because they treat education like a valuable necessity instead of necessary evil or profit center. Re: the debate, I didn't watch so I was curious to see who the media would declare the winner. It's been interesting to see that so much of the discussion has been about the "media" that no one has been declared the winner.
  13. The Berniacs are gunning for my Sherrod Brown now that he's endorsed Hillary. I love Bernie but goodness his supporters can be obnoxious.
  14. Is there some reason our heroes no longer put someone out of their misery when a horde descends upon them? What's this business of just standing around gawking while someone gets pulled apart in front of you? If Glenn is dead (and I don't think he is) they better have some proof to give Maggie, otherwise we'll be back to last season where all she cared about was finding Glenn even to the point of never mentioning her sister.
  15. I'll be very interested to see how this hearing affects not just her numbers but Sanders' as well. I know a lot of people who were on the fences between the two of them and this hearing pushed them onto Team Hillary. Actually the next round of polling should be very interesting with Biden, Chafee and Webb all dropping out.
  16. The November cover for Ebony magazine.
  17. Trump and Carson are threatening to boycott the next RNC debate if their format demands aren't met. http://deadline.com/2015/10/donald-trump-threatens-boycott-cnbc-gop-debate-1201584081/
  18. I actually had tickets to Hamilton when it was playing off-Broadway. I couldn't go so I looked into scalping my tickets. I saw people offering up to $750 EACH for tickets. I was tempted but I sold them to a friend of mine at face value. I wonder what tickets are going for now. I'm going to try to see it later this year and take my nieces (10 and 13). I just hope and pray that the original cast stays with it for a nice long time.
  19. I have had that album on non-stop repeat since it dropped. Obviously I'm an REG fangirl but beyond that the Broadway fan in me is just astounded by the whole thing. It's just so great to see some of these theatre actors who have been steadily just working their craft (I'm looking at you Leslie Odom Jr.) finally get a chance to shine and I want some one to PET scan Lin-Manuel Miranda so I can see exactly how his brain works.
  20. I enjoyed it but I agree with TomandLorenzo on this point... I felt zero sense of dramatic tension because, of course, The Doctor isn't going to die. Neither is Clara. Neither is Missy. I liked seeing Clara as a functional human even if she is a bit of a Mary Sue and Missy's take on her relationship with The Doctor was intriguing but it all felt so...BTDT.
  21. New Creed trailer. It looks like that basketball camp Reggie Montgomery got sent to worked wonders.
  22. So it looks like Cosby is going to pull a Clarence Thomas. http://jezebel.com/report-bill-cosbys-new-pr-offensive-will-blame-rape-ac-1726091493
  23. Nathan Fillion and Miss Piggy.Oh Viki, you thought Joey and Dorian was bad? See what your baby boy is getting into now!
  24. I agree. "Anchor baby" is a slur created to de-legitimize and dismiss American citizens that they feel aren't fully human. Next up they'll be declaring them to be three-fifths of a person.
  25. I don't understand why the GOP keeps focusing on abortion. When they get into office it's the first thing they start working on. It's just red meat for the base but in the end it doesn't pay any dividends. It doesn't attract new voters. It just results in wasted time, effort and money when these unconstitutional laws get overturned. Look at the Planned Parenthood thing. Even after all the talk of "selling babies for parts," PP still has a higher favorability rating than all of the presidential candidates, Congress, Obama and the NRA. There have been no arrests and PP has been found compliant with all regulations in many of the states that have launched investigations and donations have gone through the roof. It's all just distraction for simple minds.
