  1. I believe the photo was taken for AMC's fifth anniversary. It is definitely from 1975, as Susan Blanchard's Mary Kennicott Martin was killed in July 1975. The actress standing by Francesca James' Kitty is Paulette Breen, the original Claudette Montgomery. The actress between Susan Lucci and Ruth Warrick is Stephanie Braxton, who played Tara Martin at the time. Neither Brooke nor Donna had been introduced into the story yet.

Thank you! Sometimes these photos don't say who it is in them or leave out names, so sometimes I'm not sure of who the person is.

  2. Thanks for posting all of these awesome pictures!

It might be obvious, but could you tell me who the woman is between Anne and Kitty?

I'm thinking maybe the original Donna.....??

I'm not sure who that is. I might very well be the original Donna (I didn't even know there was ever another Donna). AMCHistory will probably know who she is.

  3. In the OLTL book, it says Gabby came to town because Delila had taken credit for her designs. I thought she was trying to get them back. Oh well, I still love her and Fiona smile.png.

Gabrielle is definitely the one who stole from Delila. That was one of the first OLTL stories I remember. Gabrielle and Delila had been working together and were friends but then Delila got kidnapped or something and was gone for like 8 or 9 months, and then when she got back Gabrielle basically stole her designs and business from her. That was always part of the reason I didn't like Gabrielle when I was kid- I loved Delila and I didn't like when people messed things up for her lol!

  4. I wish Larkin would have stuck around; I loved the stryfe building between Barbara, Erica, Tom, and Travis. It was such an abrupt goodbye and reconcilliation between Travis/Barbara once Larking vacated the role. DHK will never be Travis in my eyes.

Aww- I loved Travis. I was so sad when he died (and it was spoiled for me months in advance by my cousin :/).

And that picture reminds me of two things- 1. fighting with my stepmother. She loooooved Travis and Barbara and I wanted him to be with Erica and we would stand in the lounge room in front of the television and just scream at each other about it lol and 2. how AMC totally messed up their next generation. There were so many legacy characters they just either forgot about, misused, or did absolutely nothing with. I mean there was Molly & Sean Montgomery, Tim Dillon, Emily Ann Sago, Nina's kids, Petey, Reggie, Kelsey Jefferson, Sam & Maddie Grey, Julie Chandler (she always seemed like such a no brainer- she was related to the Kanes, the Courtlandts, and the Chandlers), and some others I'm sure I'm forgetting. That's who AMC should have been focused on instead of years and years of Rylee, Zach, and the Carey sisters. Such wasted opportunities.

  5. I remember hearing something like that. It would be pretty dirty if he was fired for that reason alone. The more I watch Maria & Edmund, the more they annoy me. I didn't really mind them back in the day, but as an adult, they just annoy me a lot. Edmiund should have stayed with Brooke.

You're not the only one- I loved them too, but the second go round when Maria came back killed them for me. They were both so smug and self righteous (maybe it can be attributed to my youth and I was blind because I liked them so much but I swear they weren't so annoying and smug back in the 90s).

Janet/Trevor/Natalie (because I know Carl is such a fan of the Trevor/Natalie pairing wink.png ):

  6. I love/loved Peter White. He brought so much to a role that was considered so long forgettable. It was such a treat when he and Francesca James would make their Christmas time cameos in the 80's.

+1 - Those were always great and added such a touch of realism. And I didn't even realise there were other Lincs- that was way before my time.

I'm not sure if that's the actress' personal headshot or a publicity photo- its was in the ABC archives so I assume its from some sort of show related photoshoot
