Yeah, I definitely don't like seeing the stuff I saw from Michael, but hopefully he is capable of being better.

I really enjoyed the Rory/Trina/Spencer scenes today. Right now I'm seeing more romantic chemistry with Rory/Trina than with this version of Sprina. I do think this version of Sprina is getting better together, though I want to see them interact more. I liked seeing them talk with each other alone at the gallery today. Spencer came off a bit aloof at first, because of his jealously of Rory/Trina and him trying to deal with his feelings for Trina. I do think this version of Sprina has nice angsty chemistry, and there was something classic about the way they interacted at the gallery today. As well as the way that Spencer acted with Esme afterwards. But I would like to see softer/more romantic moments between them and see them develop more romantic chemistry. I have seen flashes like when Spencer first saw Rory and Trina at the gallery before Esme showed up and after Cam knocked him out and Trina went over by his side. They need to spend more time together and build their dynamic/chemistry more. I feel like Spencer is still spending too much time fooling around with Esme. Spencer is definitely bothered by his fractured relationship with Trina and struggling with his feelings for her and I am interested in seeing how that plays out. Rory and Trina are still very cute and I continue to enjoy their easy chemistry together. I thought today's scenes where Trina was checking them out at the pool were amusing. And TA looked pretty again today, wardrobe/hair/makeup is doing a good job with her. I look forward to seeing how Rorina's own romance develops and seeing how that impacts the triangle with Spencer. Also Scott made me laugh during the hearing today. I laughed when he asked what type of "fitness" test did Michael's family need after all of the stuff they have done, when Michael was trying to act like Nina was unfit. He is a bright spot in that story.

I've seen some Sprina fans on Twitter saying they think he's being suspicious. It seems like some of them are hoping he's a bad guy. I hope not. I don't see anything suspicious, about the way he's been acting. He geniuniely seems like a good guy to me. Some people have mentioned that he's popped up places where Trina has been, so did Spencer and the same people didn't have an issue with that lol. Rory shows up at public places (plus was assigned to protect her), while Spencer showed up at more places in addition to not telling the truth about his identity at first. I love Spencer and Sprina, but Rory has done no worse in his interaction with Trina, then Spencer did at first. He's actually behaved better. Rory seems like he's really into Trina and wants her cleared. I would rather have Trina choose between him as a good guy and Spencer than have her with two men with baddie tendencies, lol. Or worse yet one them being written as psycho. I hope Rory stays good (though he can still be developed with more of a background/connections, etc...) I do wonder if some point, they might have him exit the show, but hopefully not because they made him psycho. If Trina ends up with Spencer and Rory sticks around, I do wonder what they might do with the character.

I am really liking the way that they have been styling TA/Trina lately. She looks good. I really liked her outfit on today's show, that may be my favorite outfit they have put her in so far. Her hair and makeup also looked good. I am enjoying her with Rory, I think they have nice chemistry and there is an easy going/comfortable vibe between them. Rory seems like a good guy, and I'm glad. I think that the other guy in a triangle with Trina/Spencer should be a good guy. I think it makes her decision more soapy, choosing between a good guy on paper and Spencer who has more faults/worse traits, but who she shares a connection with as well. I am interested in seeing how things play out in this story. Nina's hearing may be the least interesting story for me on the show right now. I think I even like the stuff with Marshall better than the hearing stuff lol. Speaking of Marshall, I did like the scenes between him, Curtis and TJ the other day bonding and acting like a family. And then Aunt Stella joining them as well.

Cheri Beasley won the NC Senate primary very quickly. And it looks like this state may finally get rid of Madison Cawthorn as a representative in Congress. I know that people in this state are fed up with him and his antics including members of his own party. Maybe he will indeed be ousted tonight. I am interested in seeing how things shake out now with the PA senate races. I'm watching the CNN coverage and it's interesting. One of the analysts was also discussing how she interviewed people in a Walmart in PA a few days ago and that some of them were very angry/indifferent and were not open to voting.

I went and voted in the NC primary today after work. My new polling place is very close to where I live, like a four minute walking distance. I am interested in seeing how things shake out in this year's primaries, especially the NC one. We have a lot of Senate candidates on the Democrat ballot, including several black candidates. I think that some of the candidates are pretty interesting. I've been working a lot the past several months. This time of year I work a whole lot (between governmental job and my last job that I worked prior to that, where I agreed to come back and work on a part-time/part year basis. I held my prior/part time/part year second job for several years before the governmental one and I have another retirement account with them, that I want to continue to add to). Though I have been having a loaded work schedule, I tried to carve out time to research the candidates as it got closer to election day. Some of the senate candidates are definitely very interesting and accomplished. I am interested to see what happens there, though it looks like Cherie Beasley is the front runner there. I met the candidate I voted for, for one of the NC house of representative seats. I had met him back during the last general election. I did do some research on his opponent and found out he was just recently arrested. So that made my decision for that race easier, lol. I do wish that some candidates would have more information on their page. A few of senate candidates were a bit thin on the information they provided. And I really couldn't find anything regarding the city council candidates, though someone them did hand me some information about a couple of them at the site. It does help if people provide more information about their background and where they stand on various issues.

Count me in as another one who has doubts about the story about the Academy asking Will to leave afterwards. I think they may be putting out that report in respond to the criticism they have received regarding this incident. I also think that the punishment they dole out could be significantly impacted by that as well. I still think that things are being overblown, by a lot of people. Including people that like to make things about themselves, people that like to get worked over stuff and those that don't have anything better to do. Will shouldn't have done it, but there are people that are being very OTT with their reactions and takes.

I am continuing to enjoy the new Trina and her take on the role. I also think that Rory is cute and he seems like he likes Trina. He seems like he's a nice guy and a romance between him and Trina could be interesting. I could see them having chemistry. If the show does something with them, I hope they keep him as a nice guy. It would be interesting watching Trina balance her feelings for him and Spencer who is still struggling with things and has got some bad stuff going on. Speaking of Spencer he appears to be softening towards Esme now that he thinks she may be pregnant with his child. I had thought maybe he didn't really believe that Trina was guilty and that he was putting on a show in front of Rory. But it seems like he might actually think that and/or he's blinded by his feelings about Esme possibly being pregnant with his child. Like Trina mentioned yesterday, when she mentioned he needed to see the best in Esme right now. I believe he could have/should have been written to both believe Trina, but still show some concern for Esme because he thinks she's pregnant with his baby. Not being completely fooled by Esme (if that is what is really happening and he's not pretending to doubt Trina.)

I do wonder what the Academy may end up doing regarding the incident last night. Maybe he won't be able to come back at least for a year. Or maybe he actually will and him and Chris will brush things over and present next year or something, you never know. I can understand that people don't like what will Will did and he was better off not doing it. That being said I do think that a lot of people at least on places like Twitter are really being OTT with their reactions. A lot of the stuff I've seen being said is just wrong, cringey and downright disingenuous. Stuff like trying to say that Will may be a domestic abuser at home (when there is no prior evidence pointing to that) or in the case of Howard Stern saying he's the same person as Trump, is just wrong. People talking about how they don't like violence but then also suggesting that Jada should have been the one to slap Chris or acting like they wish that Will would have slapped someone like Jason Momoa so he could possibly get hit back/beat up is cringey and disingenuous. OTT feminists (mainly white women) making it all about them and not even mentioning Jada's name in their criticisms or heck even Chris's is also cringey. Like it was already mentioned this is it's own isolated/separate situation and should be treated as such not about certain women pontificating and trying to once again make everything about them. As well as some other stuff I'm seeing that is very unfortunate. Hopefully Will/Chris/Jada will work things out, heck maybe they already have. Will is not going to jail (nor should he IMO) and I don't think he's going to lose his Oscar (Nor should he IMO).

It was a good speech. I saw that quote from Stephen A earlier too.. I actually do think that Will will make it through this I do. I actually wouldn't be surprised if things work out somehow. Maybe him and Chris will talk things out and make peace.

I'm not going to lie in spite of what happened tonight I still enjoyed that speech from Will and found it moving. Him hitting Chris wasn't his finest moment by any means, but I still think that things may work out for him when it's all said and done.

Yeah she does suffer from it and has mentioned it before: Jada Pinkett Smith, 50, Shares Heartfelt Update About Hair Loss Due to Alopecia (prevention.com) She really didn't look pleased with Chris's joke and I think that and all of the embarrassing stuff Will has had to deal with/hear about her, their marriage finally pushed him to his breaking point. Also, it looks like Denzel Washington/Tyler Perry also talked to him/tried to calm him down after the incident tonight:

Yeah I think he's tired of it all, especially their personal business being put out there causing him to be made fun of, ( and granted a great bulk of that has been done by Jada) I think that Chris's joke about Jada's hair was indeed the last straw for Will. I do wonder how things will play out now especially if he wins Best Actor (Which I saw that he has been predicted to win by several sites.)

I thought that Troy Kostur's win and speech for CODA was a lovely moment for him and the show. Congrats to him.

According to source Ryan on Twitter, there is a new character coming to the show named Rory. Ryan says he has been placed on contract and will be played by actor Michael Blake Kruse. I'm seeing some people say he's 32 IRL.

I wondered if they would go there with Nikolas and Esme, though she's technically playing a teen right now. Then again there has been stuff like this that has happened in the past on soaps, so you never know. I wonder if Esme may develop an unhealthy dependency on Nik or if she may become so desperate she might try and seduce him or something. Or maybe even stage it like something happened between them. I don't know if Esme is pregnant, I'm leaning towards she's not or she think she is, but finds out she really isn't. I am interested in how things may play out especially with her and Nikolas, since they are still having him act like he's deeply in love with Ava. Also I agree with the comments that Portia/Curtis don't really have any chemistry. I like both of them, but I don't really see any chemistry between them. She seems to fit more naturally with Taggert and I thought she had chemistry with CM's Drew as well. Though CM's Drew tends to have chemistry with almost everybody. Him and Shawn are two men that have chemistry with a lot of people on the show IMO. I also think that NC's Spencer has chemistry with a lot of people too.

I don't think she really has lol. Then again there are some scenes I need to catch up on. Interestingly enough I don't think that Portia has really gotten on Esme or even Spencer much. She really hasn't talked to him either, though she's made multiple comments about how she thinks Trina is better off away from him and Esme. Today's show we did get Taggert asking about Esme and Portia bringing up that this was the first time he had saw her. But neither one of them decided to approach her when she was talking with Nikolas. Maybe Portia will finally/confront Esme after Trina is possibly arrested. I would like to see her confront her. Liz need to get in on some of this action too (if she hasn't already), lol. Also, I wonder what might end up happening with Nikolas/Esme. There is potential for some soapy stuff to happen there as she leans on him more, though I don't know if the show will do any of it.

I think she may know what she's doing and I like how she's approaching things in this role so far. I do appreciate the softer take, while I enjoyed SM's version of Trina and loved her version of Sprina, I did get a bit tired of her constantly lecturing Spencer & others as well as doing stuff like jumping into the older folks business. It made her Trina come off a bit unnecessarily harder at times. Granted, I don't want to see Trina be a doormat either, but I don't think this new version has acted like one so far. She is just bit more softer, and understated and I like it. I think this more demure take on Trina could possibly help her and NC's Spencer generate their own chemistry. I think it could work as they move back to a romantic in the progression in their relationship, especially as Spencer is realizing that Esme really is bad news. I also like that she sounds quite a bit like SM's Trina at times. I like that the dialogue still largely sounds like Trina. I think that will help her as she grows more into this role. Reminds me a bit of Krista Allen's stepping into the role of Taylor on B&B. It's close enough to the original (at least so far) that it works IMO. I hope her and NC have chemistry. I think he's certainly going to try and generate it. I read an interview with him where he said that he thinks she's lovely and he enjoyed the scenes he's shared with her so far. I think he will do his best to help her, and I hope things work for this version of Sprina. I'm also interested in seeing how she fares against Esme. I could see her having a classier, "not going to sink to your level" type of stance against Esme and I could see that working as they continue to have conflict over Spencer.

I am liking the New Trina so far and her softer, more subtle take on the role. Plus IMO, her dialogue still sounds like stuff that SM's Trina would say. She's doing a solid job so far, I just hope she has chemistry with NC's Spencer and can hold her own against Esme. Speaking of Spencer he looked like he was going to be sick when he learned about the possibility that Esme could be pregnant with his child. He hasn't looked that upset since the night of his party when Nikolas pretended to stab him. I do wonder if Esme is really pregnant, I think she might be playing him. Or maybe she thinks she's pregnant but finds out she's not, but then still pretends like she is. I also how things will play out now that she's interacting trying to lean on Nikolas/more.

Yeah, it went from a nice slow burn in the beginning to (as I had mentioned in the recast thread), to water almost boiling out of a pot. They stifled the romance with Sprina with their lack of interaction/romantic moments and had their storyline/romance really drag after Sydney went recurring. (I also think they did a bit of this with Chase/Brooklyn but at least they finally kissed and seems like they might be in the process of moving forward as a couple.) I think there could be multiple reasons for it. I wonder if another may have been her limited availability (though they still could have possibly done better with the storyline even taken that into consideration.) I also wonder if another reason they decided to drag with the pacing was because they wanted to wait until they had Tabyana in the role, and they have someone that can/will have more time to play out this story. Though, it would definitely be another bad sign if they continue with really slow placing/very limited interactions once she takes over as Trina. I do think that how they have Spencer interact with the new version earlier on can be a sign of what could happen regarding the pairing going forward. I think they should hit the ground running with new Sprina, have them interact early on and see what the chemistry is looking like quickly. If it's good, great they can build off of it, if it's not at least they will know soon enough and can go in different directions with the characters. It may also help if Tabyana's Trina comes across as a more mature/adult version of Trina. She is older than Sydney so maybe she will and that could help her version of Sprina. Though, I'm not sure how early on new Sprina will interact. I know this is not a spoiler thread, so I will just say I haven't really seen upcoming spoilers that suggest that Spencer/new Trina will be interacting right away. But maybe they will and it just hasn't been spoiled. I hope they don't drag out their first meeting for too long, or have them have very limited scenes when she's first on.

I didn't care too much for how things played out with the original version of Trina on yesterday's show/their last couple of episodes together. I understand Trina not wanting to deal with him as much due to Esme, but I still felt that last few days of scenes lacked some romantic moments they could have had. They could have slipped a kiss in there somewhere even if Trina still decided to walk away. I'm also not a fan of the way they had Trina constantly lecturing Spencer down the stretch of their time together (these past couple of months). I know that some (maybe a lot) of Sprina/Trina fans (at least a lot of the ones on Twitter) like that. I do not. Trina is his love interest not his mother, and that's one of the things I haven't liked that they've done with the character. She can/should call him out for stuff, but I didn't care for some of the stuff she was doing during their last few interactions together.

I'm not a fan of Daylight Saving Time possibly being permanent, but it looks like that may be where we are headed. I don't like the thought of kids having to go to school in the dark, and I don't want or need it to be sunny late in the evening all year round. I like dark winter evenings and I dislike other things about it as well. I would rather it be Standard Time All Year Round. I'm glad that I decided to take most of my annual/vacation leave off in Fall. Not only is it my favorite time of the year, but if this passes, I can at least try and enjoy one more fall before it becomes permanent. Though if it is made permanent I wonder if it will actually stay that way or if it will fail like it did in the 70's.

I agree. There is slow burn and then there is letting water almost boil out of the pot until there's almost none of it left. And I feel like they did the latter with Sprina these past few months. It's a shame because even though her time was limited due to school, I still believe they could have done more with this version of Spencer and Trina. They should have kissed already, the show wasted too much time not doing anything with them. Or even developing Esme and her background properly. We still don't know what Esme's connection with Ryan is. On the bright side, I have a feeling that Sprina will be shown considerably more now that we have the new actress and (I believe) she will have more time to dedicate to the role. So maybe that will help with things, especially if her and NC have chemistry together. I do think that this shows the show is still interested in the pairing. They could have just sent Trina off screen like they did other people, but they didn't. I hope that the recast works out.
