That's the one role she's had in recent years, and who still watched Revenge?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Brandi is a c-nt. Yes, I said it. Just low-class, bottom of the barrel, trashbag ass b-tch. I don't think she slayed or dragged anyone. She just showed how out of her league she is tonight. She showed how miserable she is. She practically justified why Eddie left her ass high and dry for Leanne. And I laughed when she called Kenya evil. So what does that make you, darling? Kenya is a walk in the park compared to Brandi. But I've always wished that they would send Kenya to Beverly Hills for one season just so she can f-ck with Brandi. Brandi can't even think or speak straight when Kenya is in her presence. That's the only woman that chin-checks Brandi's whole existence by just presence alone. And I caught what Kim was doing when she brought up a therapist. That b-tch is trying to create her story for next season. I'm onto you, you old washed up wh*re. And for her to talk about Lips not having pride in picking her roles--um ... at least Lips stays working and hustles. Same can't be said for cokehead Kim.

Sad and pathetic that a 50+ year old woman reacts like this. No wonder they gave her deluded, messy, bitter ass the boot [i.e. Fresh Prince of Bel Air]. ETA: Kristen's tagline for sure

That's one thing that I've loved about Home Farm--the curse that is. I know it is a trope on the show but I love it. Declan's family failed miserably at the Home Farm family. I hope that the current family continues the tradition. Damn I miss the Kings on Home Farm. That was my favorite era of Emmerdale. Sadie was my b-tch!

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
But they do try, Emmerdale that is. And they have somewhat made the Sharma's a mainstay. But I like the Sharma family. I think that they give Jai great material. It's Priya that they could do more for. I liked her when she became a bit of vixen but it was scrapped too quickly. They should've played that up for years to come. And we have Alicia and Leyla too. I would like a black family on the show but I am not begging for it. If it happens, it happens. But I am all for Aaron or Finn getting a black significant other, which could lead to a new family in the village. Corrie is trying as of late but I am not impressed. Dev is practically backburned. Poor Lloyd gained a family and lost them just as fast. Steph and Luke are OK. Tony is good too. They just don't do anything with them. EE is the most offensive. Being a soap in London, that show should be heavily diverse. I just hate how the Masood and Fox clans are getting scraps. Especially Denise. I may be biased but Denise deserves to be a leading lady. I was going to mention HO but they are adding a new black family so we'll see how this pans out.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Yeah I don't expect a black family on Emmerdale as it is in the outskirts and black people typically prefer the city life. So Emmerdale actually have a good excuse for not having a diverse cast even though they at least try and diversify their cast. Same can't be said for EE and Corrie as of late....

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I only get excited for RHOA and RHOBH. I like the international housewives b/c they aren't that toxic yet. But I give them another season or two before they do. Oh and RHOC is fine. I actually liked last season. RHONY I am on the fence with as this season will be the deciding factor and I am over RHONJ altogether. I agree that they should've scrapped this show once Teresa went to pin. And keeping Melissa and some of the older castmates and adding new women won't work. We tried it last season and it was a flop b/c we focused too heavily on Teresa. They can't save RHONJ. Even Teresa coming home can't save it. I doubt she'd even wanna return to the show after getting released. Andy might as well scrap that idea and show.

Thanks for the article, I enjoyed the read. And I agree. Now that the general audience is privy as to what goes on behind the scenes, the mystique it once had is gone. Now everyone wants to use these shows for instant success or some form of fame. No longer does anyone want to be on there to share their story or use it as a tool to grow much like it was during the early days of the Real World. Even competition shows have become stale.

Kim gets about a good million and half viewers on her show. Because her seasons are smaller and the show is shorter, that's why they renew it. It's a cheap show. But I don't know why they are giving Kim and Nene a spinoff consisting of them traveling across the country. That trope has been done numerous times. It's quite played out. I guess Bravo is hoping they'll rekindle their battle on the bus back in s3, but I doubt it. This show is just dumb. I don't know why they also did spinoffs to Married to Medicine and Ladies of London. Especially in the same area. They'll be like the same show unless one consists of an all black cast and the other all white. Bravo is going to oversaturate their brand with all these spinoffs. I agree that they should've either made one of the shows a housewife show OR they should've retooled Miami one last time. I feel like the craze for reality TV is about to die down. Especially with scripted breakout hits like Empire and How to Get Away with Murder. I hope the genre does die down a bit because I am start to become jaded to it all. They are all starting to be similar. That's what I loved about the housewives franchise awhile back; they were different. Each show had their own groove. Now they are all starting to look similar.

re: Kim/Nene potential spinoff: It'll be short-lived. Those two can only stand each other for so long. When one feels threatened by the other, they act out. Factoring in Gregg and Kroy too, I don't see this lasting long if true. re: The Tuckers spinoff: It won't last. Kandi better stay her ass on housewives. Watching Momma Joyce in small doses is a good thing. Kandi would wanna feature her full-time on this spinoff and it would be a mess. Kandi would ruin her marriage by pursing this. RHOMelbourne: Watched the latest episode and I didn't feel bad for Janet. Sorry. I didn't. I understood Tempest's frustration with Janet because I'd feel the same way too if someone started a rumor about my sibling too. I do think that Tempest went overboard, but I am glad that she felt remorseful once Gina explained things to her. Pettifleur is a twat. I went from liking her to quickly disliking her. She needs to go back on another hiatus and stay gone. Casting flop with this one. Lydia is a twat too. She's another one that can exit stage left. For her to pick on Gamble at all is hilarious. Especially, when Lydia isn't the brightest crayon in the box. And for her to bring up what Gina said weeks ago was petty. That just solidifies why Gina wasn't so accepting of her apology. Lydia is a flip-flopping b-tch. One moment, she's eager for Gina's friendship. The next, she is tossing her under the bus. That's why those dishes got blown on her ass. Damn fair-weather friend. I like Chyka but she is a snake. Her day will come when she won't be able to slither out a situation and play Switzerland. Jackie ... meh. I don't find her to be the Greek chorus. She's just a meddlesome as Gina, who Jackie stays accusing. Jackie is thirsty and hungry for a fight--a storyline. I hope Gina does not give in. Gina didn't need to butt into the Gamble/Janet feud but I get it. After being ganged up and lied on by these women last year, I understand why she is protective of Gamble. Had Gamble not reacted like she has these past episodes and fought back, these rumors would've gotten bigger overtime and they would've used it against her; however, I hope that after this trip, it is seriously buried. Gamble needs to let it go. I'm tired of Gamble beating Janet into a pulp. I think she's learned her lesson for once.

RHOA: Claudia was totally painted in a great light tonight. It was good to see her unwind and bond with Phelony somewhat. Claudia being peacemaker just shows that she does bring a lot to this show. She's been able to do in one season what these women couldn't do in three--come together. I'm glad that Bravo sees her as an asset. Phaedra came off petty tonight. I think Kandi brought up good points in their exchange. How can she forgive Nene but can't forgive Cynthia or Kenya, who have said a lot less worse? That whole exchange between those two just solidified what I always thought about Phaedra--she always wanted to be Nene's lackey and wanted her acceptance. Now that she is with Nene, she cares for no one. Not even Kandi, who clearly has her best interest at heart. I like Demetria but I didn't understand why she was there. Or the exchange between she and Porsha. Clearly they had beef that wasn't shown. See this is why I wish they would've just left all Demetria's scenes in the show. It would've filled up all the plot holes in this season. Porsha continued to annoyed me. Her butting into situations that don't consist of her is her biggest problem. But it did feel good to see her laugh it up with Claudia and Cynthia. Reminds me of a time when I actually could tolerate Porsha [i.e. season 5]. I can't wait to see Kenya and Phaedra have a heart to heart. Hopefully, this ends the Apollo affair for good because I am tired of it. It's been an albatross over this show for three seasons. Now it is time to put it to bed ... FOREVER. Nene ... meh. Sucks that she wasn't there but it was actually better. She is somewhat of the cancer to this group. When she is not there, things run so much smoother.

Yep. I think this was 1 on 1 with Andy when she said all this. She said that she faked a fight [on her behalf] with Bethenny over Bobby's surgery, and she thought they were going to make up some time around the time Luann and Ramona tried to get the two together. But once Jill [still playing it up for the cameras] refused to see Bethenny at that time, Bethenny took it to heart. Jill banked on the fact that Bethenny would forgive her easily but once Alex delievered that message from Bethenny, they were through, Jill got the memo that she had effed up. Bethenny was not going to forgive her.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
According to Jill, she originally thought the feud was going to be fake and they were going to make up, but she caught the hint quickly that Bethenny was not playing at all. NYC season three had a good reunion too.

Season 3 of NYC was EVERYTHING! Scary Island.... That's still the BEST vacation shoot out of all the housewives ever. Atlanta's South Africa trip is second.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Well Nene should've apologzied b/c she never had a real reason to hate Kenya from the start. She only hated her b/c she felt threatened about Kenya potentially taking her spot. She allowed her own insecurities to drive her mad....

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
But her sh-t has always been proven to be true. Tamara was the first one to inform people that Porsha was going to be fired after the stunt she pulled at the reunion, which proved to be true. It wasn't until a flock of fans with ghetto mentalities protested that she was somewhat reinstated, which was fine b/c she got a well-deserved sh-tty edit this season. And let's be honest, reading Nene or Phaedra is not that hard. It's been done countless times. Sheree did it effortlessly numerous times. So did Kim. So has Kandi. So had Marlo. Much like Phaedra, when hit in the face with truth, Nene crumbles. That's why she's been a mess all season b/c the women have been hitting her in the face with the truth. Her own history that the entire world has seen. And as everyone keeps saying, it has been said numerous times that the Nene/Claudia exchange was more than what was shown. EP Carlos King got on the radio and said it himself on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show. They had to edit it to make the fight look even. But Kandi, Cynthia, Kenya, and Carlos [to an extent] have all said that Nene got dragged in Puerto Rico. Claudia even said once they returned to the hotel that Phaedra came up to her and commended her for her stellar read. Give credit where it is due and just accept that your girl got dragged and possibly did again at the reunion. Also, NeNe told on herself by posting that meme [the one I posted about a day ago] on her facebook basically confirming she was p-ssed post reunion. Meanwhile, Kenya & Claudia posted messages indicating they were giddy post reunion. In the past, NeNe would post something post reunion indicating she came out on top. This time she didn't. Just solidifies that Nene caught a much deserved verbal beatdown.

That's b/c her 'girls' don't give a flying f-ck about her. They never have. Oh I cannot wait to see this reunion!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Told y'all Porsha was going to get dragged the most. And YAAASSSSS to Cynthia bringing up the fact that Phaedra needs to win some of her own cases before bringing up someone elses. They better show that! Oh I cannot wait! #TeamPretty

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Sorry took so long to reply. I was eating. I think Carly is alright. She's still new to me, so I have no feelings towards her at the moment. I am glad that Bob's kids are starting to pop up on the show. I do think that the Bauer comparision is more suitable. I can see the similarities in that too. But weighing the comparision between Emmerdale and the P&G shows, makes it quite obvious why I gravitated towards this show all those years ago before watching EE and Corrie. They all have that warm, small town feel. Family is heavily stressed. And when scandal occurs, it richochets throughout the entire village. Emmerdale is like the P&G fans dream. It's as close as we'll get to having a show similar to Guiding Light, Another World, Search for Tomorrow, and As the World Turns.

That's what I think it'll be. But I don't see Kandi being able to remain on that sofa when all three of them are going to put heat on her.
