The View
Unfortunately, Meredith Vieira is still under contract with NBC News, despite her talk show being cancelled so unless it's bought out by ABC I don't think she'd legally be able to and I don't see NBC letting her go, once her show wraps she's headed to Rio to cover the Olympics.

Camille, in retrospect, was awesome. She was the only true 'Hollywood Wife' (RIP Jackie Collins!) to ever grace a franchise that should have been filled with them. And her season 2 redemption - amazing. I would love a Camille return. Im surprised Jeana didn't make the top 10 - I'd love for her to return to OC.

LVP nuked Lips and Eileen in that blog. They made a really big error going against her. She would have been their staunchest ally. Fools. Hopefully she obliterated them at the reunion - they had it coming.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOBH That was a lot of LemonLyme dominating the episode with her Golden Lyme Awards and then having the long goodbye to her fridge while her marriage was obviously imploding like a stadium on demolition day. Brandi looked awful in her talking head interview. Tacky and uncouth. I was surprised at Eileen's choice of long haul flight clothing. Odd. Otherwise, not much else to say about this episode. LVP looked regal in that caftan and her real diamonds with her hair piled casually on top. I really do see a day when LVP leaves Beverly Hills, moves back to the South of France and just relaxes dripping in diamonds and exotic caftans. It's really gotta grate on Kyle that she's never pulled off a caftan like LVP did on her first try while she's been wearing them for years. Next week looks awful for all involved. Melbourne Pettifleur. Honestly. What a bitch. She is so thoroughly unpleasant it's no wonder no one wants to be around her sorry ass. What a disgusting dress to wear to someone else's wedding. Chyka's earring game in this episode was awesome. She has a treasure trove of costume jewels and she always looks chic as hell. "Alin just broke up with his girlfriend so he's giving me the wedding he planned for himself" - Gamble. Was anyone else surprised Alin had a girlfriend? He's been a bigger bridezilla than Gamble ever could have been (she's actually been incredibly restrained and relaxed)...I really love the dynamic between Gamble, Rick and Luke. Rick is so proud of Luke - the whole thing is heartwarming. THAT is how you do an epic Real Housewives wedding. Janet - LOVE Janet. Her talking head interviews are so witty. She looked gorgeous at the wedding. There was a particular shot as Gamble walked down the aisle and the music swelled and the sun hit Janet and she just looked drop dead gorgeous. A very classic Australian beauty. I also have to say, I really do enjoy her and Brian together. They've been there, done that and bought the t-shirt. I say, if it makes Janet happy, what the hell, it may be sweeter the second time around. Gina, Gina, Gina...oh dear she did not come off well in this episode. Very insensitive to Gamble's wedding to be so focused on Celebrity Apprentice. And for lying straight up to Gamble's face. She should have just swallowed her ego and PVR'd the show. Jackie is going to expose Gina. And that's Jackie's role on the show. And she fills it well. And I like seeing her and Ben together. Lydia moaning about how miserable the last year was - is that why she's such a gossip bitch? Please. That just wreaked of whiney desperation. She's not a great fake crier. Susie is totally irrelevant.

Kenya's a rude bitch. And deluded when it comes to her career. She is a NOBODY. And for the record, Phaedra is right: she has horrible skin.

Honestly, BH should just bring on Faye Resnick and let the dynamite explode. I wonder if she's utterly against full time appearances after all the harassment she got.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
@Cat I posted about Melbourne several pages back - loving it! So far as BH goes I'm sick of this season and look forward to it wrapping up. It sounds like Dubai is a brutal time for LVP - she's compared it to Puerto Rico - so I'm not looking forward to it. Eileen has been a huge disappointment this season. One of the worst second seasons for a housewife ever. And believe me when I say I am a huge fan of her DAYS and Y&R work...but if this is the 'real' Eileen she sucks as a person. The bottom line is Eileen's trigger is anyone mentioning that her marriage started from an affair. However she might like to paint the state of her and Vince's previous marriages, they had an affair and that's selfish and ugly and there's no getting around that and it seems she just can't stand it when someone brings it up. LVP did I this year (Brandi did it last year) and that's why she's Eileen's target. For someone whose accusing LVP of being manipulative, Eileen is very much the pot meeting the kettle. She was incredibly blatant with her manipulation of Lips in the luggage store. Gathering a cabal of LVP hatred, aligning with LemonLyme and Erika, and being fake as hell with not letting her fight with LVP over the "apology" go has ruined Eileen. I hope she gets annihilated at the reunion. She has it coming. Otherwise I am bored with the LemonLyme show. She was in the episode a lot and I think there's a direct correlation between that and the episode being torture to get through. David Foster looked positively checked out of that marriage. Kathryn is a dud. There's nothing compelling about her. A one season wonder if there ever was one. At this point I don't know where they take the show. Part of me thinks they'd be better off having Kim on to replace Kathryn, fire LemonLyme, hire a new housewife or get Taylor back on. The show is in bad shape. If LVP quits then I can dump this franchise and stick with NYC and Melbourne and Cheshire.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I don't understand how everyone doesn't see how blatantly homophobic it is to debate whether Kim Fields' husband is gay or effeminate. Every single woman on that show should be ashamed of themselves. They're all bigoted while fawning for 'their gays'...

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Melbourne Pettifleur is such a piece of sh*t. She is such a perpetual victim. What a loser. She is such a bitch. She's mentally unhinged. And wearing coloured contact lenses doesn't change who she is, despite what she might otherwise think or want. Jackie's reactions made me laugh this episode. She was right about Pettifleur's bs crying about not being walked down the aisle by her father. What a whacko. Jackie is so right about Pettifleur's crap is repetitive and stupid. Lydiot crying was so validating. It's about time she's realized she's the root of most problems. The issue I have is how she tries to smooth things over without any skill whatsoever. Susie is such a Lydia hater and it's delicious. She hasn't got much of a storyline or purpose otherwise, but Lydia is so vacuous and awful that having someone on the show whose sole role is to hate her is fine by me. Gamble has the filthiest laugh and I mean that in the best way. Her stepson is very lucky he's ending up with her as a stepmother - I think she relishes their relationship and 'gets' him. Janet is gutsy to reveal a PTSD diagnosis. But that's Janet - spirit triumphant. Her family is very sweet and supportive and loving: that's a great real life. She'd be a fun lady to go on a date with and I can see why her ex-husband wants her back. Not much from Gina this episode...but I will say she should consider not wearing dresses so tight, they aren't flattering her anymore. Next week's storm pre-wedding looks amazing - you couldn't make those scenes up. I am just loving this season, as I have the last two. Melbourne does this so right. These women are so much realer than the rest.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOBH Kathryn really bothered me in this episode and showed a really awful side of herself. She lied about everything on camera and with extremely easy to contradict statements. Her statement to Donnie about LVP and Erika was just plain dishonest. She was totally inappropriate in Erika's home and she's lucky that Tom Girardi is a gentleman. Eileen has ruined her own reputation this season. She's come across so petty and stupid and her aligning herself with LemonLyme just sucks. She's irritating and annoying and has definitely stooped. Lips needs to own her behaviour. She is the one who brought up Munchausen and implicating LVP and Kyle for encouraging her to do it is a cop out. And judging from her Bravo blog she knows it. Lips would be great if she were more fearless and didn't retreat. That's what made Camille great: "We don't say that he hits you! But now we've said it!" Lips could be greater too if she just went for it and didn't try to pass the buck. LemonLyme is not fooling anyone. Not even Erika. You can look at Erika's reaction to LemonLyme calling and bailing and see that she just doesn't even bother to use logic, she just accepts that LemonLyme is going to use whatever illness she's concocted, be it mental or physical, for whatever convenient excuse she wants. It is interesting she kept saying to Kathryn that she now can't have a hope of being friends with LVP - as if she ever wanted that in the first place? Or maybe she did and she just didn't click with LVP so she stuck with the Lyme Alliance. Kyle and Mauricio, in my humble opinion, only do charity work to be seen to be doing charity work. It's fine to have The Agency branding everywhere, I get it and his business should benefit - but they have this habit of having one charitable event per season for show. It rings hollow. Erika has manners and despite her humble beginnings she has far more class than Kathryn. However, Erika doesn't want to just deal with her critics or accept that she spoke lowly of LVP and that such talk had consequences. LVP was rude at Erika's dinner, but has restraint, while Kathryn does not. She also has an interesting dynamic with Tom Gerardi: they have each other's numbers. The thing I see is that LVP knows when to ease off: such as the house building where she warned Kyle that Erika didn't find any of it funny. I don't think LVP cares at all that the women think she's manipulative. The truth is they are all manipulative, she's just better at it. If only she and Erika has aligned. It could have been so different.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Charisse* is the biggest piece of trash I've seen on the RH franchise. Asking for champagne? Bitching about the beds? Bitching about carrying a beach chair? What an !@#$%^&*]. She is trash. Dumpster trash. She thinks acting like a haughty bitch makes her classy. No wonder her husband left her ass. Giselle* isn't much better...but at least she speaks English in her VT's - I can't say the same for Charisse. Karen, of all people, had the best sense of humour on this group vacation. She seemed to just accept that things weren't going to be perfect and kept herself in check. And opening up about her mother's dementia was touching. Katie is a spoiled stupid twit. Her defensiveness and anger to the women (who were LOGICAL about how poorly she's planned it) When Ashley showed her vagina sweat stain...oh good lord...I've seen it all. That was a new low. Robyn is a good sport and interesting to hear that she and her husband were fleeced by a friend. Not sure if I believe that, but it is a good story for why they're broke. Next week looks much more exciting as Karen flips out! * I don't care how I've spelled either of these bitches names. They're awful people.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It was damn good! Melbourne is such a satisfying show. Seeing how Pettifleur was with her sister and then Gamble it goes to show that the other women will never develop a meaningful relationship with her. She's apparently a materialistic bitch with a personality disorder from the looks of things. I'm glad Gamble threw that invitation over the rail. I have always been a Janet fan and she never disappoints. I don't see how Lydiot is getting away with all her bulls*t. It's really dreadful how the women get snowed by her.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
lmao Not knowing any of the backstage issues, I find the show fun, crisp, with just the right amount of drama and pettiness. Of course, Aviva's constant absence did lead me to think she was causing trouble. If this is messy and inconsistent, I cannot wait for Season 7!!! If you're a LuAnn fan (I am!) you're going to love Season 7. She has a number of scenes that are legendary and will go down in housewives lore.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Melbourne... Another brilliant episode. Whoever decided on casting Susie was brilliant because she has no worries about laying it all out about Lydiot. Gamble le is being very foolish for trusting Lydiot whose a snake. It's clear she's trying to get back into Gina's good graces and I'm just glad that Susie said it. Not much to say on Chyka and Jackie, they're both fun additions to the show and the scenes they're in. I don't know what to make of Jackie saying Lydiot has been talking trash about all the women - was that not expected? Gina and Pettifleur make for an interesting pair. Pettifleur is such a stilted bitch that even as she tries to do what Gina tells her she just wreaks of inauthentic nonsense. She does look good though. Janet. My girl Janet hasn't even divorced that Paul Hogan wannabe! She said "maybe he'll ask me to give him a divorce" in her VT. He said some pretty embarrassing things but he's a good 'ol bloke who doesn't care - he is who he is - that's the kind of confidence that probably got Janet to marry him in the first place. However - I do respect friendly exes like they are - that makes life so much happier and easier and says something positive about both of them.

I found this episode of BH quite dull except for Eileen imploding with LemonLyme and Erika at lunch. Eileen is ruining her image this season. Season 2 Syndrome at its worst. I agree that she is going to get mauled at the reunion. And it was edited to highlight how you've got the Three Witches from Macbeth contrasted against LVP the Glinda The Good Witch installing her pony mansion. LVP has tweeted that the trip to Dubai was like Puerto Rico - I am not going to enjoy that.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Same. I see Eileen's point in that LVP feels it is a mark of weakness to apologize for something. (In a way, I even understand Erika's perception of Lisa. Erika clearly views LVP as an adversary. Yol bitching about Lisa to Erika behind the scenes probably hasn't helped. However, she was doing the dirty by implying LVP is behind the Munchausen rumors. Personally, because Mohammed Haddid is/was LVP's friend, I don't think she would dare try to mess with that friendship by getting the Haddid kids involved). Still, I see LVP's point too. These ladies are always trying to hash things out and talk about "my feeeeeeeeeelings" and "validate my pain" and Lisa is not about that life. Many Brits feel that kind of behaviour is self-indulgent and much ado about nothing. Kathryn seems to want to get on Team LVP now, huh? Interesting. The title of this episode was 'Spinning The Web' and it's funny because all I could think was how much like a spider Yolanda seemed. She's so smug and self-righteous and vicious in her attacks and reprimands, tbh. She is so clearly talking down to Kyle, all the while threatening her that she will reveal some secrets if Kyle doesn't toe the line. Then she turns around and says "But, of course, I would never. I have integrity!" The way she looked at the other women with such disdain -- she and Erika obvs think they are on another, higher level above the other HWs. Yolanda acts like she's some martyred saint being torn down by wolves, and she is beyond thrilled that she can somehow implicate LVP in her victimhood. She has been waiting for years to drive a stake in the Mohammed/LVP friendship and to discredit LVP in the eyes of the public, she thinks she has finally found the excuse to do that. Her whole demeanour this episode and last week is creepy, frankly. That's exactly it, Cat. All these women want to be "heard" and talk about how they feel and how they "hurt" and LVP doesn't give a damn about that - she is British and doesn't play into that crap. To her it's one big self indulgent whine. And let's be honest, Eileen is grinding this storyline into dust she's retread it so many times - she needs to give it a rest. Such a shame about Erika being Team LemonLyme. She is really funny and smart, but she's heard a lot of crap about LVP over the years I'm sure so I can't really blame her. What's interesting is how her husband seems to enjoy/respect LVP's demeanor. LemonLyme was gleeful this episode being able to chastise Kyle but her comment abou LVP "talking sh*t" about her kids fell flat when both Kyle and Eileen defended her and said that never happened. The email demonstrates how full of crap LemonLyme is. She has the convenient excuse of "my brain shuts down when confronted" (with the TRUTH that she can't argue with!) but then has the fortitude to write a scathing email and copy all the other women on it. She's been so bitchy and stupid this season. It seems Rinna is going to go in hard judging from the midseason trailer where it appears she says to LemonLyme "You are more manipulative than LVP" to a falsely shocked face from LemonLyme.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Agreed, and I think the shows have a lot of lightness which comes naturally and isn't forced. These women have a sense of humor about themselves. Even Lydia knows that she comes across as a buffoon sometimes. I also think that some are so rich that they don't really have to try and contrive lots of story for themselves -- they just are going to do their thing and worry about being witty and galivanting around with their pals. Some of the other franchises have gotten very dark lately, and there is a sense amongst some women that this is their primary source of income, so they will do whatever it takes to stay on the show. Somebody like Chyka, for example, would definitely survive and carry on having a great life working at her job if for whatever reason the producers decided to drop her. Vancouver was an absolutely awesome show with some fascinating ladies... but it went way dark in Season 2 and, IMO, the producers actually made a wise choice to stop it. I honestly think somebody like Ronnie would have spiralled even deeper into depression and self-medicating if she was contractually obligated to carry on into Season 3. And that awful Jody person and equally awful daughter really did not deserve any more TV fame as a reward for their nastiness. Given what happened to the Vancouver ladies season 3 would have been insanely dark: Ronnie splitting from her husband, Mia getting shot, Jody's custody battle and walloping in the BC Court of Appeal, Amanda relapsing, Mary getting sued by Jody for defamation...it would have been terrible. Production was smart to end it when it did.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I absolutely agree and I'd throw in dearly departed Vancouver. The three international editions have done it better than the American versions ever did - all three have a few big things in common: organic cast relationships, women with actual money, smaller cities and shorter seasons.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
F-ck Beverly Hills. F-ck Atlanta. F-ck Potomac. Melbourne blew them all out the water with this premiere. I don't even know where to begin.... Lydia is clearly the pot-stirrer this season, which is funny because she was the irrelevant one last season. I guess she realized she had to step her game up to remain on the show and boy did she. Lydia was bouncing around setting everything on fire. For once, I found her to be useful. I actually felt something for her. I still don't like her but I don't hate her. Whoever found Susie deserves a medal. I love how she has preexisting history with Gina, Chyka, Janet, and Lydia, which meshes her into the group better than before. Susie was the MVP this episode as she was dropping bombs left and right on Lydia. Susie confirmed what we've all said about Lydia for the past two seasons--she aligns herself with who she can use at the time. Season one, it was everyone but Gina. Season two, it was everyone but Gamble. This season, she wants to align with Gina and Gamble while tossing everyone else under the bus. Just scandalous. These rumors with Lydia and the cricket player.... I somewhat believe it. Lydia protested a bit too much. I did research on him and he is known to be a lothario. Plus, he did try and hook up with Janet too, so.... Pettifleur is an idiot. How can she blame Gamble about being sued when all Gamble did was warn her that Omarosa had a book out by that title already? Going on and calling her a sugar baby is stupid and pointless. If Rick and Gamble like, Pettifleur should love it. It ain't her business. I like how Gina/Pettifleur mended fences. Shows how mature both women are. I do think together that these two can be a power duo to the other women. I was cracking up at the end how Gina, who is normally in fights, was for once not involved in the battles and was sitting in the other room with Chyka. What annoyed me during the fight was how Jackie, who I've NEVER liked, kept inserted her melon head ass in the fights. Jackie annoys me to no end. Overall, this season looks like it is gonna have great potential and all the women are gonna bring it. This just shows why 8 is the magic number on these housewife shows. I totally agree! RHoMelbourne totally validated my love for the RH franchise. This is what it SHOULD be like, true glamour and gorgeous locales, served with drama, social manipulation and a lot of humor too. Lydia is giving me LIFE so far. I always loved to hate the bitchy bombshell, and now I feel like THIS is the true Lydia. She just oozes insincerity at every turn, gossips, backstabs, condescends, not to mention is dumb as a box of rocks. The way she treats her poor housekeeper Joanna (" Let's rev it up a bit, sweetheart"), omg. She really thinks she is Mother Teresa wrapped in Sophia Loren's body. Still, I have to love her bitchery and her attempt to stir the pot and play Pettifleur against Gamble. And totally, I did not buy any of her denials regarding Shaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhne Warne. This guy is the equivalent of a Tom Brady or a Kobe Bryant in the cricket world -- but boy, he cannot keep his anteater in his pants. He famously broke up Elizabeth Hurley's marriage (she of Hugh Grant, Estee Lauder model, and The Royals fame) and when they were together, she stuck him in a diet and he went and had a major facelift, some Fraxel and probably a nose job, too. I think she really fell for him but Shane couldn't stop his tomcat ways... and now it seems he's hooking up with Lydia the kitten! LOL I hope he appears on the show this season. Gamble vs. Pettifleur --- Team Gamble all the way. Pettifleur is a jealous, egoistical, mean-spirited wannabe -- just the way she stomped around in heels to the coffee shop to meet Lydia shows what a try-hard she is. Spreading rumors about Gamble's beloved wolf cub while STILL playing the Poor Me victim card epitomizes how desperate she is to stay relevant with the women. Gamble by contrast is witty, self-deprecating about herself and the other women, and has a lot of vulnerability she is not necessarily worried about showing. Chyka & Bruce.... lol, I think I want to marry Bruce myself. At first I thought the scene where they confronted their daughter about driving his car was slightly contrived, but then she started crying for real and I thought 'Oh sh*t! They just guilt-tripped and embarrassed her on national television!" It was a pretty funny scene. I think I will always enjoy Chyka even if she doesn't always 'bring it' in terms of sh*t-stirring. I like that she is a happy oasis of calm. I kind of agree about Jackie. She stomps in like a bull in a china shop and tries to be all ballsy and knock heads together in the fights and I just want her to take a seat and STFU. I'm glad she's stopped saying "That's so couture!" though. I have a feeling Jackie won't be as involved this season on the show, I don't know why. I'm not sure how I feel about Susie just yet, but I cannot deny her Melbourne social pedigree, or the fact that when she was talking about Lydia, she was speaking the 100% TRUTH. I'm so glad the show is back! It really feels like a breath of fresh air! Totally agree with everyone - Melbourne gave me LIFE yesterday evening. Lydia is a total dolt but she's amped up her housewives game like I didn't know she could and is a major focus of attention. Lydia is easy to love to hate because she's so dumb and awful to her housekeeper but isn't straight up evil like some housewives of yore. She protested a little too much about Shane Warne, the sleaziest sleaze who ever sleazed, but her husband seems to find her amusing. Team Gamble in the fight with Pettitfleur. Gamble is what she is and doesn't try to play sophisticated ("I dated a guy whose family owned Selfridges - I thought they sold fridges.") and I like that she laid it out for Pettitfleur and swore like a banshee. Gina really shouldn't be losing her sparkle by being near Pettitfleur - Gina can survive as a solitary island if need be. I do find her reactions amusing. I like Jackie - always have. She made me laugh when she replied "I got up and left" when the other ladies were amazed at how she escaped...good old common sense. Loving Janet as usual - she takes NOTHING seriously and I love her for it. She's a good one to do battle with Lydia because Janet is witty and old school and smart - poor Lydiot doesn't stand a chance. Chyka and Bruce are adorable and she really lucked out to find a soulmate like him. Her daughter seems sort of terrible though... Susie seems like a good addition because she knows so many of them - that helps a lot in establishing a new housewife. This season opener was glamorous, fun and feisty. Bring it on Melbourne!
