Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Very interesting and good to know that it confirms what I had suspected. A friend of mine does PR for a restaurant RHOV filmed at both seasons and she had not heard from the producers at all. My. Day. Is. Made. What a brilliant description. That's exactly what happened to the show. If the producers don't fire Jody and Amanda they clearly want the show to fail.

Not that I don't believe you but where did Shaw Media confirm that? It's been THE buzz in Vancouver that the show isn't filming this summer (when it otherwise would) and that the network felt the show became way too toxic.

RHOOC: I cannot explain how much Gretchen annoys me. She speaks with such little intellect. She just sounds dumb.

A few of the housewives appear in the Summer By Bravo promo...but it's the appearance by Queen Lisa which is the showstopper. Somewhere, Kyle is dying.

You miss my point, Lisa has the money to walk away from Nene, she would never have to engage with her, it would be Lisa's move. LaToya, Star, Kandi, Phaedra and whoever else Nene has dealt with have always been working with her and have been financially tied to her through their common ventures: Celebrity Apprentice and RHATL. And let's not equate LaToya Jackson or Star Jones' "money" with Lisa's...she's worth $65 million.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Absolutely. Threatened by her but too smart to tangle with her because Lisa is the one woman that Nene would lose to because Lisa has the power and the money to just walk away.

If Nene, who I like and who I think has made the most of the RH platform, can't bring herself to name Lisa Vanderpump as a boss, then she's in denial.

BH: 3 OC: I agree with Cat that it's jumped the shark and returned to greatness at least twice, it has a certain nostalgia given it's the original. NJ: 2 NY: 3 V: 1 (S2 was like a totally different show, even though all the producers stayed the same the 'angle' of the show changed dramatically and for the worse) ATL: 3

RHOC... I think Tamra is the problem with this show. And that's coming from someone who hated Alexis last season. Tamra is so angry and it manifests itself in her attempt to humiliate each and every person she comes in contact with, just as Vicki said. Vicki and her family are what the franchise, originally, was all about and I would be crushed if she wasn't a consistent part of this show. I really think OC would benefit from firing Tamra and replacing her with Jeana Keough. Bring this show back to what it was. Gretchen speaks very poorly and was clearly itching for a fight with Vicki and it just doesn't show her in her best light, her concern for Slade and his son was an example of when Gretchen shines, but those moments, frankly, are too few and far between. I feel like all the Teri/Heather drama is beyond contrived. It rings so hollow and that's not good for the franchise because then it starts taking on a NJ tone and that't not what's needed. Alexis is a baby, but she isn't without a point in terms of how she's been treated, Lydia, obviously, saw things the most fairly because she hasn't been involved in any of it.

Wow if Lisa Rinna joins RHOBH...I like Lisa, but she may well turn me completely against her if she aligns herself with Splits.

I think Taylor has value, as Cat perfectly said, because amid the wealth and glamour there is always a shady character or two and that's the role Taylor fills. If it was all glamorous women having petty fights it would be boring, Taylor stirring the pot in her rented house with her fake Birkin bags saddled with the hell a suicidal grifter abusive husband left behind is another facet to life Beverly Hills. Taylor was dead right about Adrienne in her blogs. Really, her blogs were the best of the season and I wish she'd outright said what she wrote in them because they were so erudite. Even drunk off her ass, flipping her middle fingers high in the air at Lisa's tea party, Taylor had balls of steel and called out whoever she wanted. If they're looking to get rid of dead weight, they need not look further than Kim Richards. She has the same conversations with Kyle every third episode and her trifling ass is just a waste of a Bravo salary that could be spread between the other 'Hos who work for their money. I think Camille is pretty much done unless she's willing to be Season 1 Camille, the REAL Camille.

Thrilled to hear Duchess Yolanda and, yes, Taylor are both returning. Taylor was hilarious last season with her drunken antics calling people out on their nonsense. To me, she completely redeemed herself. She kept her nose clean when it concerned The Queen, who even seemed to like 'ol Taylor...so I am all for her returning. I just want to see the complete and utter destruction of Splits on the next season.

Nene would lose against Lisa simply because Lisa would not engage her, that's how Nene wins her arguments, she is bigger (physically) and louder than anyone she goes up against so when they try to serve her, she is able to outshout them. Lisa has too much money, too much success and too much style to bother with that kind of nonsense. Checkmate, bitch. Love Live The Queen.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yep. That's why I have concerns about Nene's judgement, anyone whose friends with Splits...

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I think that's really fabulous for Nene, she has earned every cent, I just hope she is saving all that money, buying an affordable home and being wise for when the RH franchise is a thing of the past.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Absolutely to all of this. I think what I find most frustrating is that there was no climax like Season 1 which had, I think, the greatest finale of all the RH franchises with Mary, Reiko, Christina and Ronnie all calling out Jody and publicly slamming her at lunch, not letting her get away with anything. In this finale there was no sense of accountability, nobody explained themselves, nothing was set straight, even Robin directly confronting Ronnie's lie about drugging her (Ronnie has admitted to the Vancouver Sun that Robin did not drug her) wasn't settled. I don't think we'll even know what happened between these women, if RHOV returns for a third season they'd need to dump Jody and Amanda and it doesn't seem like Ronnie would even return.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
No, it isn't that the women were resistant to shooting, what we saw in the last episode was the footage from the last week of shooting that followed the same schedule as Season 1...either Slice ordering only 10 episodes was a factor in the editing or something having to do with a friend of Mary's sending Jody "threatening" text messages played a role in what was shown. The ending was, in a word, abrupt.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It was in Season 1, Season 1 was, for my money, perfect. The right mix of lightness and drama. Season 2, we saw who some of these women really are and the truth was ugly.

RHOV... Well it ended in something of an anti-climax, most things were wrapped up in a bow and if Slice decides to change cities or cancel the show outright (though the ratings have been good) there will be a sense of finality. There will not be a reunion show this season, the director of the show, and the host of last year's reunion, announced. Ronnie is clearly ill. The road ahead for her children will undoubtedly be a hard one, especially her son Jhordan who has been her caretaker, it would seem, from birth. Ronnie appears to be someone afflicted with Borderline Personality Disorder. She destroyed any semblance of an image that she had from last season. She came off horribly this season and the word is she isn't interested in returning. Jody, quite simply, is also ill. But her affliction would be Narcissistic Personality Disorder. It's not even fair to say she's evil anymore because she's clearly not well. Even her daughter, Mia, didn't think Jody's behaviour was appropriate and said so. Her reaction to Mary's attempt to take the high road: "You have bad breath" demonstrates that Jody cannot handle being mature, she seeks attention, regardless of the repercussions. Amanda, Robin and Ioulia were relatively irrelevant this episode, as they have been, more or less, throughout the season. Ioulia is not going to fare well without her husband's money. An interesting note about Amanda's Kombucha Tea, it typically contains 1.5% alcohol...so her claims of sobriety? Not quite. No wonder she loved the stuff. Mary...well clearly Mary wins this season. She dumped a toxic friend, confronted an enemy, took the high road whenever possible and bagged herself a billionaire for a boyfriend. Team Mary all the way.

Absolutely. Sharon Lisa Wu Milette Sweat Harwell can stay as a (alleged) cheap con artist out of the public eye.

RHOV... Jody, Ronnie and Amanda are positively obsessed with Mary. Obsessed is the only adjective that properly sums up how they discuss, plot against and plan their lives around her. Jody, especially, comes off really poorly. Amanda's so basic, thinking she's clever when she's really thick as a plank, that she's irrelevant. Ronnie comes off so out of it (I laughed when she was comparing herself at the restaurant to being sober, she seemed lit even then, her words coming out garbled as hell) that I have to wonder what she thinks when she watches the show now, she's gone from Hero to Zero in the span of a season. Ioulia is a spoiled Russian princess who doesn't give a damn and just wants to party. I respect how she is very direct about everything, the reactions of the other Wives be damned. Robin is sweet and it's good to see that she finally got her act together about Mary. Next week's confrontation with Ronnie looks amazing. Just in case everyone didn't know, Robin worked as a sharp shooter in a men's maximum security prison in Texas before she moved to Vancouver...so she knows of what she speaks when she says to Ronnie "I'll come up to you any time I please when you're accusing me of breaking the law". Mary has truly been through the wringer with the coven. Next week...well let's just say things turn around for Mary and Jody comes off as a psychopath.
