Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I think that's absolutely what's happening. Lisa has come around to the conclusion that Brandi, fun though she may be, is a loose cannon and irresponsibly person who just lets the chips fall where they may, irrespective of consequences. I think there will come a point this season where we, the viewers, will ultimately have to pick a side, and I know I'm siding with Lisa, regardless of what happens. I just do not believe she is the type of woman who does anything without reason.

Brandi sucks and I'm totally over her, but I laughed out loud when she said to Kyle: "It's hard because you seem so sweet and then you become this crazy a**hole"...the look of shock on Kyle's face was worth the whole episode, which was a waste of 45 minutes. Lisa didn't factor much into this episode, but she looked gorgeous. That skin of hers is second to none. Kim is a non-entity as always, I can't believe Andy Cohen is OK with signing a cheque for this woman who contributes nothing (except mistaking fence sitting for being everyone's friend) to the show. Yolanda made mincemeat of Kyle, she is cool as a cucumber and so clear in her statements that I just can't help but be totally convinced that she is telling the truth. And then she shut up that idiotic, basic fool Joyce down like a pro. Joyce is such a non-entity to this show. Incredibly boring and thirsty to be relevant on the show. Dull. Boring. Yawn. Kyle: "Kim and I know that we did not just invent that story out of thin air"...that's right, the part she left out was 'instead, we planned ahead and put our child star brains together with something that we thought would get under Lisa's skin and undermine her relationship with Yolanda'...when Kyle said "Likewise!" repeatedly I just about reached the end of the road with any scene Kyle's in. In fact, I'm finding RHOBH tiresome to watch. It's getting so stupid, immature and ugly, akin to RHONJ and RHOA, both of which I've dropped. This season my be my last for this franchise and perhaps the franchise as a whole.

I haven't watched RHOA for a couple of seasons now, but I've always thought that about Kandi's mother. She is sinister and a control freak who likes being taken care of.

RHOBH Kim looks so much better with her hair in a ponytail...she needs to realize this. Her daughter's graduation was cute...but that's all. Kathy Hilton was totally right about the dress she was going to wear. Kathy Hilton is right about everything when it comes to Kim, especially seeing as Kathy Hilton doesn't seem to like Kyle as much as she does Kim, which I'm sure is as refreshing as a cool ocean breeze for her. "They're either at each other's throats or down each other's throats!" - Lisa. Oh Lisa, The Queen. Never, ever, change. Lisa mentioning moving back to France had me screaming YES from the soul, she is too good for California. She should be in Europe. Yolanda's throwing shade at Lisa on her Bravo blog, saying that Lisa is acting "entitled" to want Pandora and Jason in Los Angeles and that there's a solution for Lisa, being "one of Bravo's best stars," moving to The Real Housewives of NYC franchise. Sigh. Kyle and Joyce are two annoying peas in a pod. Fast forwarded their scenes. As I did for Brandi. And Carlton.

RHOBH I find Joyce hard to stomach because she's up Kyle's tired ass already. It's like that foghorn laugh Kyle has is like some sort of siren song wooing blandly irritating housewives into her clutches. Mauricio is so defensive and Kyle is such a mess that it sets off my bullsh*t meter with those two. Kim was beyond patronizing at that gymnastics event, one of the least organic events in Housewives history (this show could really take a lesson from RHOV and do a tennis party every once in a while!), where she instructed people how to behave...please. Yolanda handled herself admirably with Kim and her daughters seem like nice girls who know how to shop their mom's closet! Brandi was a non-entity this episode, though the cracks in Lisa/Brandi have begun to show. Lisa's puppy? Adorable. Lisa's reaction to Joyce's stupid hair flip fiasco? Perfect. Lisa seems so over the show and hanging with these broads. Carlton's reaction to Joyce talking to Lisa was the highlight of the episode, she is clearly an adult.

I read those texts. If that's game...then clearly I have been out of the league for a long time. I just don't get it, doesn't seem like anything, just a couple of illiterate people typing with one hand while drinking coffee with the other.

Congrats to Kim. And now it's time to stop having babies, they're going to run out of bedrooms!

+1. Lisa is The Supreme. This episode of RHOBH only got good in the last 10 minutes when Brandi started being her messy self at the luncheon table dropping that bomb on Kyle...the thing is...would Kyle (or anyone) react the way she has been to the rumours of Mauricio cheating on her if she knew, categorically, that they weren't true? Of course not, she'd be like Lisa and laugh off the nonsense, secure in her own knowledge. But that's not what happens: Kyle cries like a 12 year old girl and lashes out with a bunch of nonsense about never spreading "rumours and lies and tabloid stories" about Lisa, Yolanda and Brandi. And let's be real, that's a lie. She's had Faye Resnik do it, we've seen it firsthand. It is obvious that Kyle and Lisa are no longer friends and it is clearer still that Kyle actively hates Lisa. Announcing "Let's talk about Lisa on Dancing with the Stars!" wreaked of highschool bully behaviour. You don't see that behaviour with Lisa. Lisa confronts everything head on and when she does, Kyle, like a spooked horse, runs away with her tail between her legs. Otherwise, like last week I found this episode dull. I don't care about Yolanda and her private duty holistic nurse, I don't care about Joyce, her anatomy and her husband's junk (adorable sons though), I don't care about Brandi dumping her realtor, I don't care about Lisa getting voted off Dancing with the Stars, and I really don't care about what new lows Kyle and Kim can sink to insulting Lisa. It's all so ugly. I still like Carlton and the fact that she doesn't like Kyle, though her acceptance of Brandi's foul language was hypocritical, though understandable, given that Brandi's messiness is in your face, while Kyle tries to be stealth with nasty enquiries about Carlton's religious beliefs.

RHOBH This was such a dull episode, really underwhelming, nothing really happened...the highlight was seeing Shana/Taylor who I absolutely miss, I'm sure it's hard to film her since she'd have been in Colorado for most of it...but they replaced her with the likes of Joyce? Carlton has some personality and her swearing and children and house at least spice things up, Joyce adds nothing! Brandi and her ugly rented house, Yolanda and her port removal (anyone else notice she has Farrah Fawcett's internist?), Kim and her dumb dog, Lisa and Ken walking along a street in WeHo towards a barren pit that will, one day, become their bar...so dull. I don't know why Kyle bothers pretending she's Lisa's friend, moaning constantly about how much Lisa's hurt her and how she wants to move on when, let's face it...she clearly hates her. The way she and Kim mocked her in their screening room and how next week she brings it up in the limo? What a dumb bitch.

Lisa looks incredible, and that's 'day to day' Lisa. I love the look she gave Kyle, I think it's something everyone should learn how to do effectively.

Kyle has nothing to say that's valid in my eyes. Nothing. She is a bitch and a liar and someone who isn't comfortable with living in reality and needs to keep up a front at all times. Had she been an adult, last year she would have let her friendship with Lisa go, instead of desperately trying to stay relevant, even as Lisa said the relationship had changed and it was over. But no, Kyle continues to chuck other people under the bus (like Yolanda) in order to be "friends" with Lisa, even as she talks trash behind Lisa's back. Lisa has been upfront from day one, she spelled it out to Kyle that the relationship had changed. And sure, her humour is deprecating and bitchy, she's British, that's how they roll, she isn't unique that way at all. And she's not pretended to be some sweet little thing. She is who she is. If Kyle doesn't like it as much as she claims, she needs to get a set of nails and crucify herself. The victim routine makes me sick.

And if she doesn't get her way she should quit. Of the franchises, RHOBH is the only one that I've watched where I've only really loved one housewife and that's Queen Lisa. To me, she makes the show. Her lifestyle book was a success, Vanderpump Rules (while not everyone's cup of tea) is a success, her restaurants are successful and she and Ken have legitimate wealth. The other women clearly hate her because she has everything they don't...so if she goes, good for her, I'll be going with her.

RHOBH Kyle: huge bitch, ugly personality, petty cow who never left highschool. "Never had an issue with Yolanda"...what? Against liars? What a nutjob. She guns for Yolanda because Yolanda doesn't give a damn about her. She doesn't like the approach of confront an issue head on? Of course not, because that's what adults do. And Mauricio...after seeing him on Million Dollar Listing I am 100% convinced where there's smoke there's fire. Notice how he checked Joyce out up and down and side to side? Kyle, Lisa DOES know you, and she knows you're a nasty, lying bitch. Brandi: she will blow through her money big time, leasing out an expensive house needlessly, going to Dr Lancer for injections she doesn't need. What a shame. Kim: looking rough, skin is terrible, hair is terrible, her dog is horrifically behaved and she is clearly going to snap with her children fleeing the nest. She is truly filler for this show. Worthless filler. I would have rather watched Taylor. I won't be surprised if that dog of hers mauls her to death before the season is over. That said, her dress at Kyle's party was excellent, Kathy Hilton to the rescue! Yolanda: still enjoying The Duchess and her free wheeling ways. "Joyce has better hair than Kyle!" I adore how she despises Kyle. Joyce: I think she's going to annoy me. That "Naked Room" story was gross. So bitchy about Carlton's kids names. Carlton: I like her! And her husband too! "I just don't want to picture someone I've just met naked with something flapping. I just don't." Lisa: she's getting the bitch edit, and to that I say, Lisa baby, let your bitch flag fly! She is The Queen. And any enemy of hers has it coming.

Just have a look at her discography...her recording career is in the toilet, she hardly charts anymore...this is typical of her ilk. What goes around, comes around.

I can't tell you the number of times I have rewatched RHOV's first season and marvelled at just how perfect it was. First of all, it had a perfect storyline arc of each wife, in their own time, determining that Jody was the devil incarnate, culminating in a glorious exposure of all of Jody's lies and manipulations for the entire world to see. And during that arc we had entertaining stories, glamorous locations, money flowing, beautiful people and quite a bit of family exposure that wasn't obnoxious and fleshed out the women into actual people, rather than two dimensional caricatures. There were so, so many mistakes made for the second season, the most glaring of which were having Jody return, firing Reiko and not hiring Marika Palmer (that fabulous woman who threw Christina's birthday in her amazing apartment) for the show (she put herself forward and the Slice Network declined)...all the infighting made the show toxic and, like Ronnie, the show suffered an Exorcist worthy nervous breakdown. Season One is actually airing in the UK on ITV2...and the show has sold internationally better than any other franchise thanks to, I'm betting, its shorter length.

I wouldn't mind Gretchen being fired for one second simply because it would be the end of Slade! I do appreciate the comparison Cat is making to Stephanie Forrester and Brooke Logan of B&B though, that's really insightful and pretty dead on. Alexis would be leaving on a high note, and good for her.

Barbara Windsor's one off...goodness me is she ever needed on this show. She slipped right back into Peggy Mitchell. This episode definitely left the door open for her to return...or not. I hope she does.

The problem with Brandi saying anything inferring superiority to Lisa is that it rings hollow because there's nothing about Brandi that is superior to Lisa. Also, that line...it's a knockoff of something Lisa said in a VT about Faye Resnick from last season.
