You forgot to turn html on :)

  2. Rather than running as the candidate who "held the mantle of Jesus," Arnold was always despised by social conservatives. Therefore, to suggest that Arnold's affairs (as despicable as they were) show the same level of hypocrisy as Gingrich's affairs is very disingenuous on your part.

Gingrich is worse, he abandoned his wife on her deathbed practically. Arnold cheated on his wife. He's from Hollywood and she is a Kennedy, is this something anyone is shocked about? I don't really see any discussion of Arnold taking a dem/rep line, more like "oh, here is some juicy hilarity for gossips"

  3. bc she says it like she means it and doesnt hold back.

I don't think being honest means you have to sound like you are from the street. "I worked my ass off!..." "shut the [!@#$%^&*] up, you pissing me off" and so on.

  4. I just watched all six episodes and the show is great. I am bad with the names but I love the way the guy who is built like a tree dealt with the evil blond wannabe king.

I can't stand the King. He is so without manners and crude, and everyone else has some sort of style, even the bad guys. I am not sure about the fat coward on the wall. We haven't seen him in a couple of episodes but I am starting to think the bastard is the King's son (black hair) with the dead Stark sister and Stark just brought him home to raise him to keep him a secret. I can't think of why else he would be a major character while his brothers are not. The fat cowardly guy is probably an assassin.

So the prince is the incest child of the queen and her brother and not an actual heir to the throne. The brother with the shaved chest and knight boyfriend might be a nice guy but I don't see these two rising to the crown.

I am unclear who the english speaking confidante of the blonde sister princess/wife of the warrior guy is. Everyone seems to know him but I don't quite make the connection as to how these people know him.

This is all speculation. I haven't read back through this thread in case of spoilers.

  5. The media, which is always happy to be sycophants for the GOP, will do their best to spin for someone like him. There are few other options at this point. The only other choice is Romney, who is mostly known for his breathless hypocrisy on health care.

He can't win either. He is so smarmy, he comes across like a cross between a used car salesman and a game show host. His insincerity knows no bounds and Obama is probably salivating at the thought of running against him.

  6. My guess is that "T-Paw" will win, barring some flub. He is very hard right, he's spent years pandering to extremes in Minnesota, and the media has spent years fawning over how smart and "nice" he supposedly is.

He can't win. He is so charismatically challenged, only a devout groupie could sit through one of his speeches.

  7. You know, it's funny: while the Democrats are now having so much fun trashing Arnold for his out-of-wedlock child, they apparently feel no regret (or hypocrisy) for voting for a man who did exactly the same thing.

Democrats know Edwards is scum. The difference which you always fail to acknowledge or even admit begrudgingly is the republican party bills itself as the party of family values, social conservatism and morality to the point they once claimed they had the moral majority. So while its true when democrats screw up--and they do--it is bad, when a republican screws up the hypocrisy is off the charts. We just saw this recently when the great thinker, the man with the supposed 100 ideas a day, claimed he was right to persecute Bill Clinton because his own infidelities informed him just why Clinton was wrong. So yeah, a democrat cheats on his wife, he cheats. A republican cheats on his wife, well he cheats too, so why was he on TV just the night before voting to protect marriage and family values from the evil fags that are out to steal all good little christian boys and do immoral acts Jesus would not approve of? And we know Republicans are the party of Jesus and family and the commandments because Republicans say this on a weekly basis it seems.

It isn't the democratic party that tries to legislate against sin as it breaks every commandment in the book. That is strictly a republican thing.

  8. What were Natalie and Erica's motives for wanting Will dead? Also who is that underneath Janet, near Trevor?

Didn't Will threaten Enchantment somehow because he was using Haley to get a hold of Chandler Enterprises? Something like that. Some of the motives were pretty flimsy. I think Natalie's motive was concern for Haley.

  9. Souch a touching episode. Very moving.

The willy wonka song was great with the montage. Watching this the song from the tryouts that I noticed most was Kurt's, and I realized that while he hits every note it was really weak anyway. Maybe he is just too young, but he just doesn't have that hint of bitterness, hope and desperation the song requires. Sometimes a voice is not enough (which is why Pia on American Idol sucked in my opinion)

  10. Is that Christine Jones as the Viki temp?

Edwina looks more like a sickly Rhoda than whatever they were going for.

I vaguely remember she wore things like that a lot. Perhaps she had cancer? When I started watching she was on, but I don't really remember what her story was.

  11. I frigging love Darren Criss/Blaine - he's really the only reason to watch Glee.

OK, Jane Lynch is pretty terrific too.

The whole show is good, but Blaine just is the cream of the crop. He is so perfect there is no way he could exist in real life. The ending of the episode was perfect too, with Blaine stepping up to save Kurt and then Mercedes and Santana singing such a great song and a pretty good version of it too.

It's amazing how all the people on this show put everybody on American Idol to shame.

  12. I don't understand why Obama decided to make a production about releasing his birth certificate. The people who don't believe it still won't, and the people who do will either think this is too much, or they will wonder if he's hiding something.

I think he made a mistake. He should have let them make this their big issue for two years, then in 2012 release it and say "next?" and leave his opponent looking the fool.
