I watched Gayo too! Well, bits and pieces. I kept watching, going away to do something, then coming back. Thank god it was an Awards show on the weekend! Go Crazy is actually one of my favorite 2PM songs and I don't care if Korea didn't get it. It is a fun =, catchy song, and I loved their staging of it. The glow-in-the-dark bikes at the beginning and end were hilarious, too. BEAST's acoustic version of 12.30 really is beautiful. As usual, Beast beats everybody with the unexpected. And IA about Hyunseung. The hair up looks so much better on him and shows off his angular bone structure. He does nothing for me physically but he is slaying that entire look. By the way, did you hear about this controversy? Beast won an award, and Dongwoon spoke to thank the fans and (presumably) Gayo. Some fancam was focused on some little poptart called Hyeri of Girl's Day (the poor man's SISTAR) and she was apparently making fun of Dongwoon and his speech. GURL. Don't you know fans are watching you at all times?? Anyhow, embarrassed that now the K Pop world knows she is a bit of a bitch, she attempted to tweet an apology and sent it to Dongwoon to drag him into this mess. And now it has just gotten more drawn-out and messy. Here are K-netizens' reactions: http://onehallyu.com/topic/126603-nb-hyeri-apologizes-for-mocking-dongwoons-award-speech/?hl=%20hyeri Speaking of what the fancams catch... 2NE1 singing Come Back Home (a song I **LOVE**) EXO body-rolling like their lives depend on it! And then Ailee's biggest fanboy suddenly thinks he is a singer: The dorkage, omg. I loved 2NE1 back to together, and I really hope the mention of 2015 that CL did before she launched into Crush is indicative of 2NE1's return on the scene. I felt sad that Bom wasn't there, though. I can't believe she is still being punished for something the authorities cleared her for. Either the fan hate against her has been strong (which I'm not sure actually) or she had a bit of a meltdown, or YG just decided to hide her in the attic. Either way, she should be there. Yes, EXO won some awards -- including Best Selfie. Their version of Overdose is their best yet (and IA about those suits!). OT-10 is the best balance for the group. They feel closer and more unified, less M vs K. It's sweet seeing D.O. sing with Chen and Xiumin, or Kai hugging Tao. Speaking of the last two, I don't know whether they were tipsy or somebody injected raw cocaine into their freebee Ferrero Rochers, but those two were turnt up all night. I have never seen my baby Kai this animated! P.S.: EXO comeback is imminent imo. I'm thinking January. The reason? D.O. cut his hair. The shaved sides resemble his awesome haircut during Growl era. BTOB are so cute in their pastel coats. And Tigger and Eyeore rapping! I really like the song. It is so fun and poppy. GD looks so hot without the braids. I'm not even kidding. If Taeyang keeps sporting that piss-colored hair, I'm going to have to switch allegiances!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I am loving it, too! I feel like it is a return to Season 1 when we saw the women's individual lives, and when they finally did hang it was worth it because the drama was a slow build. I am also liking how much they are emphasizing relationships which actually work between the women. For now. Yolanda has done a complete 180, and I totally believed 110% what she was saying about how upset she was after her father died in a car crash, now Bella gets a DUI. I also felt for her when she said that once her daughters hit 18 and get independent, she will no longer have the influence over them. "I am 'just' the mother." Lawd knows I am not a fan of Kyle, but that yacht and Med vacation looked amazing. I don't know whether they changed production teams but last season the filming made BH look so ratchet. Here it looks a million bucks again. IA with what you are saying about My Eileen. I love her and think that behind the cool exterior is a nervous dork tbh -- and that's why she is so good at playing both Ashley and Kristen -- but I can see why it is not translating seamlessly. Lisa Rinna was BORN to be on this show. I cannot believe she is a newbie. I cannot believe she wasn't in Season 1. What I would have given to see her and Camille, or her giving Taylor a few choice words. Lisa, Ken and Giggy are just adorable, their life really revolves around that dog. Especially Ken, who is happy to get a lower billing than even Giggy. What an adorable teddy bear of a man he is. While I totally believe that Lisa has done lots for the LBGT community and is a supporter from way back, it sort of makes me cringe when they trot out a couple of overplucked dudes I never heard of to play the gay stereotype. Maybe it is just me. If they want to do that, why can't it be Ken Paves? He is Lisa V's hair guy, friend and I really like him on QVC lol. I can even deal with the shi shi shi shi wedding planner who wanted to skinny dip with Jax! Brandi. Was she on? I am ok with Kim this season too, but I think we owe a debt of gratitude to Kathy Hilton for that. I wish Kathy was a regular on BH tbh. Her cold staredown of Kyle every episode makes Stumpy McSplits seem even shorter than she already is. Having said that, Kyle and Kyle's Hair were looking BOSS at this wedding. Lisa reading Brandi again next week! I thought she had already said everything perfectly on the phone the week before but hey, preach it one more time, Lisa! Brandi didn't get it the first time around. P.s.: Who called Viveca the industry's granny whore? I mean, I don't hate her or anything but that made me laugh.

Koreans are so sassy I am surprised too but maybe (in the case of BigBang and 2NE1) some of their songs and definitely their attitude is already so US hip-hop in style. Like why listen to the KOrean version when the US originals are all around you in SoCal? Maybe that ex-pat community is drawn to the more traditional, old-skool Korean groups? Aww Beast. I think Beast's music is so unashamedly pop, and with some really sweet ballads, that people get embarrassed about liking them and immediately attack them as cheesy. Whereas I look at Beast and see a depth of talent there and embrace of lots of musical genres. I wonder what the KoAm community think of my bias group EXO? Probably hate them because they are so big now and lip sync all their "live" performances. Their performance skill and songs slay me, though. I swear, Super Juniors are a phenomenon with so much longevity. DBSK (or TVSQ as they are also known) were also huge, but then those three guys left the group (and SM) to form JYJ. SM tried to make them outcasts in South Korea, so now they get the bulk of their $$$$ from promotion in Japan.

I think am going to get into Winner too this holiday... lol. Taecyeon's arms tho. Why they put him in a school uniform outfit, I will never know. This ain't one of EXO's maknaes. Taecyeon is ALL MAN. It's funny you talk about Good Boy -- I went to a Korean restaurant this week with my Korean class and this song came on over the sound system in the middle of dinner. Without thinking, me and like four other people at the table started doing this: All this to say that the song by itself has definitely grown on me. I think it was the MV that bummed me out -- it was kind of basic and messy. Also, I watched the dance practice MV of Good Boy and GD was killing it! I always thought taeyang was the danvcer but I guess GD is really talented in that area, too. Careful with Block B. I hear the are lots of fun and pretty good! Taeyang I feel so wrong for laughing.

I watched the MAMAs! I was so pleased EXO won some awards because they needed the validation. They looked completely demoralized, sad and emotional -- at last year's MAMAs they had been on a huge high and KILLED the live performance of Growl/Wolf. Now, with all the defections, lawsuits and ugly rumors, many were on the point of tears. I actually watched those parts with a heavy heart. Winner/IKON jamming to the EXO set made my night. I just love Bobby and Mino. Dem body rolls while D.O. sang Tell Me What is Love!!! Bobby fangurling during the Overdose thrust-a-thon! I can't. Winner showed EXO mucho love during the MAMAs and it was definitely reciprocated. During Born Hater, Bobby came over so that Tao (who was FANGURLING like crazy!) could sing with him: Love it when groups support each other and get into each other's music! In other news, Kai performed his solo and Lay gave all the haters a speech to remember. Comeback imminent in January, mark my words. At least 2PM won something, and apparently JunHo and 2PM slayed the Japanese charts this year with sales of their group and solo albums. Go boys! Taeyang and GD did a great performance (TY's body, god damn) and it almost made me like the song. Taeyang's hair was still a hot mess of cow fugly, but he was so sweet and cute during the awards that I can look past it. Sort of. BtoB's Christmas song is a jam. I really love it. And no, Amber's not technically a guy but she does act like one (in the Korean press they refer to her "boyish charms" -- code for liking chicks). I do like her, though. Her Korean is very good, and she is very upfront and talented and has the friendship and admiration of basically every K Pop idol out there. She is very social and often seen out and about with lots of them. I really do not understand why BEAST wasn't there and why they didn't win.

I saved the 2NE1 live performances on my 'puter so that I can watch them next weekend. Work is pretty much killing me at the moment and this weekend I have to work also. So I haven't had time to watch the vids or even to post much here (and I want to because I've been keeping up with the RHoA and BH discussion, too!). So I'm sorry. I feel like it will be bittersweet watching these concerts, just because the group is on hiatus at the moment and CL is in the US (how is she doing btw?). The MAMAs are going on right now but I'm going to have to check back on that later and hopefully get some of the best bits because... no time. I hope my babies EXO slay though. Last year they did a special, extended Growl/Wolf set which, performance-wise, gave me goosebumps. BTW, Wolf has finally grown on me, did I tell you that? I even like Kai in his cornrows. Boy could pretty much get it, anytime. Speaking of hair... LMAO! Taeyang, there's no need to out-GD GD. Even he combs his hair back with his snapback. BtoB have released a Christmas single! The boys are still trying hard and still in the game! The 90s ballad feel of this single is awesome, even though it is a cheesy Mewwy Kweeesmass song. Peniel rapping, boy, your accent is so sweet. Speaking of the Peen: Peniel and his BFF, F(x)'s Amber (US-born and raised, too) show Korea how it's done. I can't. Taecyeon getting in on the Kreeesmass love, I see. And S L A Y EXO with your singles -- including one from 2013!

Brandi and Kim are BFFs? More like 'el enemigo de mi enemigo es mi amigo.' And who the [!@#$%^&*] okayed this Kim/Brandi stalking some real estate agent mess? Andy? Kyle? The damage control is real, y'all. After last season's Reunion debacle, some of these chicks are bending over backwards to appear more human, more "I've learned from my mistakes and I'm a better person now." You know who I'm talking about! Thank goodness Adrienne pointed out that Brandi's apology needed a strong dose of taking responsibility for her own actions. Adrienne's face as she watched Brandi was made of so much win, I almost wish she was a regular again. Can't help but start enjoying Yolanda being all "I know I'm not supposed to care but I can't fit into my skinnies." I think we've all wrestled with white jeans at one time or another, although she still looks great. The "Helloooooo mah luv!" scene in the kitchen still makes me cringe but, hey, her body is banging so get it, Yolemony! Kyle still thinks she is the funniest, most charming and fascinating woman on earth. Her jokes are so poor tho. Mauricio could still get it with that scruff on his face. ROWL. Sub-Milania Portia is so obviously being coached by Sherman Oaks' version of Mama Rose. Kyle was using the kid's cuteness last year as a way of making her seem more likeable and, you know what, Portia was cute. She still is, but all this is just some scripted mess to burnish Kyle's image as the put-open mom. Hey, Middle America! I struggle with the same bratty kids you do! Except I'm doing it while shopping at Baby Dior. Condesending? Kyle? NEVER. Lisa Rinna is made of so much win, I love her. Not only did she reference her valiant work for Depends, she is genuinely thankful for it. I can't wait to see more of her. Lisa Vanderpump is an Empress with an Empress's fabulous closet, personal seamstress on speed dial and taste for fine jewels. And she manages to do it without seeming sneering or pretentious. She loves the good life and is going to grasp it with both hands. Eileen next week. Am nervous/excited. Glad Lisa Rinna is the one introducing her to the audience.

Just coming on here to post this. And ITA with you Cheap, the song is underwhelming. That hook could be in any US rap song circa 2006. Let's hope there is more to this YG Hip Hop Project. And Mino -- all hopes rest on you, boy, to be the next G-D now that the real G-D is pulling lazy stuff like this out of his ass.

VictimKyle still has no clue about what makes Lisa tick. (Of course, why would she -- this self-centered, self-appointed "star" is all about MeMeMeAndMyHair). She's the one who invites Lisa to lunch -- but then shows up expecting an apology and some grovelling... for what? A rumor which Lisa denies ever happened? Brandi is a baby, you've put your finger right on it. The "They're all 78 years old" comments were especially childish. Girl, you ain't no spring chicken yourself. Brandi is someone who, like Kyle, also cannot see past her own self, and that makes it difficult for her to understand the motives of others. During her chat with Adrienne, Brandi was talking about herself the whole time "I was in a really bad place... I was drunk... When I'm hurt, I lash out." Classic non-apology apology. It's "This is the way I am, and I don't plan on changing or evolving or showing that I learned from my mistakes. I'm sassy and a truth-teller, y'all." She logically understands that she has hurt people but at the same time won't own to it. "That's just Who I Am." I also get irritated by women who talk about "my gays" like they are her pet chihuahuas. Usually hair/makeup people, they are her personal cheerleading squad who cheer her on when she's on her 10th Sambuca and dancing around her handbag, flashing her ladybits.

Oh I don;t think they will be Friend-Friends. I was just quoting an expression. But I do think it is mutually beneficial right now for both Lisa and Adrienne to look like a united front and piss on Brandi from a great height (not that Brandi didn't have it coming to her). And Adrienne may never truly like Lisa again but she's the one who tried to sell her down the river at Season 2 Reunion, accusing her of selling info to TMZ. Honestly, it's not like Lisa will ever like Adrienne much again after that one.

Maybe YOUR grandpa. LOL, actually Kikwang is dressed like my grandMA with that slightly sparkly cardigan and buttoned-up blouse.Poor Kikwang drew the short straw. At least they didn't pair that outfit with a long strand of necklaces because that would have looked straight-up drag. I need to listen to WINNER, especially since Mino is like a mini, young-G Dragon. Speaking of the REAL G-Dragon and Taeyang, have you seen this teaser? It appears that GD and Taeyang are involved in a hip hop project of some kind, and that it is to be released soon! Woot! It ain't BigBang but it will hopefully be good. And fingers crossed that TaeBlonde does something about those wretched bleach locks! I too was all about the dark faux-hawk. I've been tempted to check out GOT7 too, mainly because of Jackson who has a great ass on him. LOL, yes, I like to prioritise the important stuff.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
My show is BACK! And unlike the crappy, low-budget visuals of last season's BH, the production once again looks ON POINT and sparkly as a 14-carat diamond. I know it's superficial as [!@#$%^&*], but I want to see the gorgeous close-ups of Lisa's white Porsche or Kyle's Bentley covertible. I want to see wide shots of stunning houses dripping in marble and huge, hothouse flowers. I want to see everybody getting ready in their humungous walk-in closets for Kyle's white party. Kyle, Brandi, Yolanda et al are so desperate for story that they know Lisa is their ticket to relevancy. So, right away, we have Kyle bringing up Lisa and painting herself as the victim. "I haven't called Lisa.. I have some dignity, y'all." Except in the very next scene -- "I texted Lisa. It would have been nice if she'd texted me." VictimKyle boohooing over what a wonderful, forgiving friend she is and what a poor friend Lisa is. If she's being a bad friend, then, why don't you drop her, Kyle? Sad that Lisa is sticking so close to the "let's never talk about it again and just move on" mantra because it makes her look guilty by default. Y'all know VictimKyle will bring this up when things get rocky again. Yolanda: "Everything is fine between Lisa and me! I learned to let that go a long time ago! Honest!" Hmmmm mmmm. Right. More like Yolanda read the comments section of her Bravo blog. Love Lisa Rinna and think she is perfect for this franchise. Perhaps an even better fit than My Eileen. Lisa R is so bubbly and positive and her vibe fits in perfectly with what BH S1 used to be all about. Also: Harry Hamlin could still totally get it. In fact, he could probably get it more now than 20 years ago because back in the day he was kind of smarmy-looking. Go, Lisa, with the Mad Men name-dropping at every turn. Having the OGs back literally gave me chills. Like seeing Camille, Drunken TayShanna and even Adrienne almost made me teary. I forgot Kim was even a part of the group until her mangy face showed up. Lisa and Adrienne have clearly decided that "My enemy's enemy is my friend" so that's bad news for Brandi. Speaking of, look who showed up with her two botoxed, gay chihuahuas in tow. When she got given the cold shoulder by everybody, she disappeared into the bathroom with the TBGCs and all I could think is "Has she gone to do blow?" At the same time, it was cringeworthy the way everybody literally turned their backs on her while dancing. Adrienne giving her the side-eye during their convo was hilarious, mainly because I didn't know that Catlady could move that part of her face anymore. All in all : a reassuring opening episode. The previews for next week look mucho lame, though. One hour of Brandi and Kim in bad wigs stalking somebody, really? Because I can't with that contrived mess.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
The common denominator between Lisa and Yolanda is... Mohammed. And Mohammed seems like somebody who does not appreciate conflict. Since they were friends for a couple of years before the show, I can see Yolanda and Lisa being civil with each other, Yolanda especially recognising the backlash that came her way after last season. But Lisa was hurt at the way Yolanda tried to accuse Ken of grabbing her, physically abusing her. Ken is untouchable in Lisa's eyes, and everybody knows that. There are lots of things I can appreciate about Yolanda, which is her direct, no-nonsense, Dutch way about her. She gets to the point. She has no problem confronting a situation. However, last season, I felt she was highly strategic in her decision to "confront" Lisa. It was like she sensed which way the winds were blowing and it was Take Down Lisa time, so she aligned herself with the wolves and even led the charge at the end of last season. In the same way, that's why I stopped liking Brandi. She genuinely seemed like somebody who said whatever came to her head, what-you-see-is-what-you-get kind of person. But it seemed she was looking for arguments and, in that sense, it got strategic with her, too. I have no time or patience with Kim who is favouring her untrained pitbull over the safety of her nieces, but whatever. She took an opportunity to make herself relevant in PR but it just made her look bitter and mean tbh.

Not just Brandi -- Yolanda better be first in Queen Lisa's crosshairs! Yeah but up to what point do you "get what was coming to you"? Kenya insinuated Apollo texted her inappropriately (and I think there may be truth to that) but does that equate with an attempted fist in the face? And I still think that both Apollo and Kenya are strongly attracted to each other in some twisted way. Apollo looks like he's practically having a boner every time he speaks with her. I'm ready too, though I will have to wait for some kind soul to download it. Where I am, they are re-running RHoBH S2 (just before the tea party confrontation!) and I forget how much I loved to hate TayShanna's crazy ass at the time (I sort of love her now) -- and how much I loved Camille. Adrienne? I look forward to her first scenes with Brandi and Lisa. But yeah, I'm glad they are back.

Glad you are back! I'm back, too! tbh, I never thought KandiKoatedNights and Papa Smurf truly believed a word out of Apollonia and Phaekdra's mouths. Neither are the most convincing of liars anyway. No, Kandi and Peter and the rest of the peach-holders were all too willing to bash Kenya because they hate her. The fact that Apollo was saying Kenya made the moves on him was just the 'reason' they needed to hide behind before they attacked her. Even worse, they basically absolved Apollo of his violent behaviour towards Kenya and Brendan at the pillow party because, you know, Kenya was a Slut who Provoked Him and Tried to Break Up Apollo's Marriage (and therefore deserved to get beat). Claudia is awesome. Is she a regular cast member?

I just read your take on the episode on the previous page and can I say? "Apollogized" had me ETA: SO, SO EXCITED for RHOBH's return tonight!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Totally agree. Just has Apollo has all kinds of anti-chemistry with his soon-to-be ex-wife, the sexual tension between him and Kenya is strong. Last season it was especially strong when they were in Mexico and talking in the bar after all the women had gone to bed. That's not to say he isn't a violent thug (hello, Pillow Party) who confuses hate with sexual attraction, but it was really noticeable in this latest episode. I don't think Kenya slept with him -- or offered to sleep with him -- but she also talks and tweets about him an awful lot. Even if it is to tear him down. BTW, they should just give Apollonia a peach because he is on more than Phaedra and Nene at this point. In fact, tbh, his story in the run-up to jail is the most compelling thing about the show right now -- mainly because it is real, a holdover from last season, and we've seen so much of it play out in the media. He is still a thug and an awful human being, though. Pahedra is a cold, hard bitch, and I have no doubt that Atlanta's newest Virgin Mary Mother of God knew exactly what Apollo was up to, probably participated and maybe even set it all up for him as a 'job.' And now she's distancing himself from him. Well, I can understand from a legal standpoint why she's doing that, but she'd better be careful that Apollo doesn't spill some legally compromising tea on her ass! Ayden, omg, he is the cutest, sweetest little boy! Poor him saddled with those parents (although I do believe Phaedra is crazy about her two babies). Cynthia is protesting a little too hard about how everything is fabulous now that Nene is out of her life. Nene didn't even mention her! BTW, I am enjoying Nene a lot, even though her "Broadway" turn is so budget. And Cynthia in the previews -- girl what is that Raggedy Ann/Newsies/The Journey of Natty Gan Depression-era look you are wearing? Mama Joyce looks so mean and grasping, and she is so thirsty for screentime. I am on Team Todd when it comes to this house issue. Poorsha -- irrelevant. Kenya shouldn't waste her precious screentime talking about her. Speaking of Kenya, she needs a better make-up artist. She is stunning but because she has a complex about her skin (either in terms of quality or color), the make-up is trowelled on. I wish she'd let her face breathe a little because when she has less on, she looks much prettier.

I know -- Sabor de Mi! D.O. was flawless but all four did amazingly. Suho got some singing time and he really did a good job. I am so loving Suho these days. And his hair is ON POINT. Can't believe I missed the Melon Awards, (!!!) but I did see that Beast got the triple crown on the music shows, three weeks in a row, for 12.30. SLAY BEAST SLAY. Yoseob looking like a little kingpin in that suit. LOL, he is such a dandy. Aww at Dujun almost crying. I wish I could see Kikwang and Junhyung messing up! Thanks for the link to that YT page. I really like Kimi wa do? Taeyang still hot as [!@#$%^&*] but god I hate the hair. And I could have done without the backing dancer who gave Taeyang (and us) a full-on gynaecological view. Girl, put it away. 2NE1. I have a feeling that this CL's-US-career thing is the straw that broke the camel's back for the rest of the group. Minzy seems like she has pulled out of the group, Bom is on indefinite hiatus and god knows where Dara is. Hey, I'm not going to hate you for loving Winner! I flirted with BTS for a while! I actually was going to ask how you felt about IKON, YG's new wannabe Big Bang boy band. I think Winner has a ton of potential, and I have seen clips of Mino looking like a mini-GD and rapping like his life depended on it. He's cute! I also saw him speaking terrible Engrish in a Korean drama: "coz of da homies. Aight?" "Nat agin homie." P.S.: why can I no longer embed YT videos?!- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
As have I. Last season she shouted at Ken about Lisa's crimes against humanity (like not going to Kim's daughter's graduation party when the VanderPs were in Missouri), but when he pointed out that she missed a lot of events during the first few seasons, there was lots of "Oh, you can't talk about that. That's when I had issues. Those instances don't count." Um, actually, they do count, Kim, in terms of Bravo's filming schedule! Bravo built an entire 3-episode SL around this at the end of Season 2 when Drunken Stallion couldn't show up to Hawaii for two whole days and a Bravo production assistant had to pick her up, sober her ass up and drive her to the airport herself. I'm glad she's sober (at least I hope she is) but she uses her addiction as an excuse from which to hide behind after her rageful attacks. I can attack you but don't attack me, y'all. Because I went to AA! And went through rehab! #KimRichardsForSainthood2017- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....

I am listening to Drive all the time now. Junhyung's rap/vocals are slaying me, omg! I would love it if the released a Jun-only version! Apparently things aren't all that bad with 2PM. The head of their entertainment company (PJY? I forget the initials) said in an interview yesterday that 2PM is their biggest earner because they have so many fans in Japan and China. Get it boys! EXO are burnt out. I love Overdose the mini album, but this has been a rough era for them. Having said that, I saw some footage of EXO in Mexico this past weekend (KBS were filming one of their music shows out there). The turn-out was amazing and when EXO came on stage, the roars were deafening. The girls threw bras and panties onstage (hopefully unused and non-crusty) and KBS were so shocked that they turned off the lights, ushered EXO away momentarily and told the fans they couldn't do that, otherwise they would stop filming. Anyhoo, D.O., Chanyeol and Baekhyun came back out to sing Mexican ballad Sabor a Ti in Spanish, live, and I hope they release it as a single. Then EXO-K did Growl and were on fire. It's been a long time since I've seen any of them (Kai especially) play to the crowd that way and just eat up the cheers. It reminded me of the way they performed back during Mama era. Having said that... boys need a rest, SM. IA, I think the Korean version of Wow is better and I liked the girl's presence in that MV, too. On the upside, after a few weeks of being "teased" about not having much success in Korea, BtoB are taking it in their stride, reading their haters' comments (which is weird but they totally make it hilarious) and showing that they have class and a sense of humor:- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
