Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Well... Camille hasn't been that Camille in many, many years. I don't think she's got it in her to be a full-time HW. The young boytoy living in the guest house (Mark from Sunset Beach, y'all), a philandering husband on the other side of the US, comparing herself to Jesus, getting on Kyle's tits ("You're such a f-ckin liar, Camille!"), THE dinner party from hell, Alison Dubois -- that glorious world is gone. Camille is now a better person and in a kinder, gentler place. It's a loss for us BH fans, but a gain for her as a human being. I am laughing so hard at that pic because they literally made Erika stand a few paces behind LVP to make both of them look the same height. Unfortunately, Bravo didn't have the same consideration for Kyle. You can't tell she is sitting and she looks like somebody's tween child going to prom.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yeah, everything we have seen this season from a VERY proactive Brandi has been about making her RHOD's little plucky heroine. Only problem is, the audience anointed LeeAnne in that role. The worst mistake Brandi made was at Reunion when she not only slammed the door on any possible friendship with LeeAnne, she stomped all over her feelings and smirked while doing so. That's why Twitter is turning against her. Make no mistake, the show needs Brandi. It needs her vs. LeeAnne. It needs her crazy insecurity with regards to Stephanie's friendship. It needs her sh*t-stirring and scheming. And it needs her marriage to play out on-screen and for Brandi to come out the other side more independent. She seems incredibly dependent on -- and grateful to -- her husband for marrying her at the end of her cheerleading 'career' and no football player fiancé in sight. I would love to see her realise she doesn't actually have to depend on him financially. As for Bryan (I had to google his name) having a mistress... is that mistress's name Travis?? I guess that frees Brandi up to spend time with her soulmate Stephanie! Bottom line: Brandi needs Bravo too. I don't think the Redmonds are rolling in cash, and the Dallas Cowboys are not calling to get her a$$ back on their dance squad.

@Nothin'ButAttitude Uh huh. Did she quit because Bravo wouldn't let Leeanne go? Did she quit because she refused to film with her for S3? Her edit was fine. I don't know what she's complaining about. She got soft-balled at Reunion and a chance to explain herself, while Leeanne got hammered. She's just sore that fans on Twitter called her out on her pot stirring. "I got the bad edit! You didn't see the true story!" Production screened LeeAnne going full whispery Tennessee Williams nuts on Cary and Mark at the doctor's office, and fans still love her. Its not like the show was hiding LeeAnne's crazy side. Brandi can't stand that LL is getting fan support over her, I think. ETA: I don't know what Brandi AND LeeAnne are thinking by threatening to quit. They worked so hard to turn this show around after a disastrous S1. Mission accomplished. What exactly is LeeAnne's income apart from Bravo?? Speaking at charities? Rich is now retired from the DPD. And Brandi honey i hope you've been saving your pennies for when your David Beador-disinterested husband divorces you. The difference between her and Shannon is Shannon has the money. In Brandi's case, he's the one with cash, and he looks like the kind of guy who believes in pre-nups.

Regarding NJ, what do you think was the cause of Caroline's fallout with Teresa? Teresa's friendship with Dina? I remember at the time it was painted as Caroline feeling so 'disgusted' by what Teresa 'did' to Melissa, i.e.: Tre's hair guru knew someone who knew someone who knew someone who ran a strip joint where Melissa allegedly once worked. I mean, is this shocking? This is the show where Chris Manzo was going to open a strip club car wash. Plus Caroline really didn't care all that deeply about MeHo.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
For a moment I thought it was Tamra, Shannon and Meghan, but now I can see that it was Vicki by the sleeveless hand. Nothing would make me happier to see these three meet halfway and have a frenemyship rather than this outright Cold War which is killing the show. I know it seems like I'm over-exaggerating but OC is at Def-Con Critical Level for me. This Reunion teaser looks kind of contrived. Tamra sounds like she is reading a script. I can't bear Meghan or Kelly. Kelly is really rotten to the core, and mean. Lydia is a non-entity made up entirely of hair. Peggy literally makes my brain itch. I don't know if I can watch two reunion episodes with those four hashing out whatever contrived nonsense they had to do to fill up episodes this year. BTW, are they ever going to mention the REAL reason Tamra and Vicki's forgiveness sesh didn't stick? It was the leak of the BJ audio tapes! Bravo haven't mentioned it even though production wanted to close the season with it, and I have a feeling we won't be hearing anymore about that mis-step. Drat. P.S.: Looking forward to that ATL Soul Train episode. Look at Nene lying through her new nose about Sheree's wonderful Chateau! We all know that place is uninhabited with mold, no electricity, running water or heating, and creditors pounding on the door.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
You said it all! I was especially surprised at how clear and rational Mark came across. And LeeAnne responded well. Cary and LeeAnne are like oil and water though. They will never mix. It's a shame, because I end up rooting for both. It's ironic that LeeAnne got the brunt of the accusations -- imo Brandi's assertion that Cary told her about other doctors which killed their patients on the operating table is the assertion that Mark and Cary should be particularly worried about. That's a couple of law suits waiting to happen. Brandi looked like a stripper in her expensive dress. She is obviously great for the franchise but I hope the women wake up to her machinations now. She only cares about Stephanie, who she is obsessed with. Great season, perfect size, no filler, some Texan glamour, a pinch of Jabot, and a bunch of actual housewives too. I hope it comes back S3.

I don't mind Shamea sometimes (although I don't get all the calls to make her a HW. She's not scintillating viewing). But everytime Kandi trots out Carmon, Juan, Todd, Mama Gruesome to be her spokesvoice, I CAN'T. It's so phony. Don't be afraid to say how you are really feeling, Kandi!

I can't with that dingbat Porsha going 'baby vegan' through no real motivation or understanding of what it means. I was particularly disgusted by her throwing away all that food when it could have been donated to a soup kitchen or homeless shelter or something. People are literally starving in this world, or on food stamps. She may think meat is 'poison' to her waistline, but some people on the poverty line might benefit from that protein. I can't believe we had so much of her inane yapping this episode. Truly she must be sucking somebody off at Bravo to still have this job.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Real Housewives of Sydney: This has just started showing in the UK, and I am on episode 2. Figured I would post my thoughts even though some of you already watched this, like a year ago. The women are not as witty and as likeable as the Melbourne crowd, or even as watchable as Bond villainess/idiot savant Lydia. However, I can see this is a glossy franchise in the Melbourne/Vancouver/Auckland mould, with all the trappings of luxury and real estate porn. And that's ok with me! Krissy/Nicole - can't tell them apart. They have the same hair, same nose job and husbands living in other hemispheres (cue impending divorce proceedings). I think Krissy is Chewbacca [(c) Athena X], the loud wookie with equally loud kids. Nicole must be the one who claims she 'commutes' between London and Sydney. Athena X - pretentious attention whore. There is no way somebody who claims to be spiritual would make fun of another woman for being tubby as a kid. Her self-hyped fashion sense is either fabulous hit or 70s miss -- in that sense she reminds me of Angela Stone from Auckland, braying about her sense of style, deeply insecure and in need of the RH paycheck. Victoria - Total bitch but I already love her because she doesn't pretend to be anything different. Surprisingly open about her marriage that ended with him cheating on her, and the father who seemingly abandoned her for a cheque. I think she's going to be the OG for me. Matty aka Marysol Patton's lost twin. Her face is a walking billboard for her business, but so far I am liking that she is upfront and doesn't beat around the bush. Melissa - I forget she exists, but when she pops up, she seems a nice addition, FOH-styles. Lisa - Where to start with this one? Obviously a sociopath. Why have children when you can't stand to be around them? Both Bertie and Harry (pls note the British royal family names she gave them) look absolutely traumatised in her presence. Then we have the husband who used to shag Pauline Hanson and was part of her hateful, racist party. Now he's a 'stay-at-home dad.' Uh huh. Sounds like something a politician does when he gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar and has to leave politics for a while. I'm pretty sure her tweets must be as foul as she is, so I'm not going to bother googling them. She's involved in 'securing financing' from wealthy Chinese backers? Ponzi scheme for sure. Expect a bankruptcy filing and law suit in due course.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I can't find anything on LeeAnne on the HW gossip sites I frequent... I can only hope that her announcement was just marketing noise in advance of part 2 of Reunion. Leeanne is pretty beloved by fans, I think, and she also has backup in terms of fellow HWs. There is no need to panic just because she said Mark gets his d*** sucked at The Round-Up! Who cares? BTW, cannot believe Bravo is going to make us wait SIX EFFING WEEKS before they air BH! Wtf is that about? Haven't we suffered enough with OC?? That was torture! We need BH to soothe our eyes, ears and souls. This pic is from the Berlin trip (and it's cold in North-Eastern Germany). I just want to say that Erika looks great pared back, and Lisa Vanderpump looks like a BOSS in that (I'm guessing Chanel) fuschia coat! I still think she'd look amazing with a couple of inches lopped off her hair, but hopefully this outfit is a sign that her new stylists are finally clicking into gear.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Dallas: I love Cary but her freakout on the couch at the end of this episode was some batshit-bad acting on her part! There is no reason to lose it like that when your husband has been the only one invited to the Reunion set. Brandi's botox makes her look like a Cabbage Patch Doll's face exposed to an open flame. I hope she gets called out on her messy behavior. Right now it's all Brandi = victim and Leeanne = monster. Yes, Leeanne should probably do more to realize that her words have impact. But Brandi is no victim. Like @Nothin'ButAttitude, I hope Cary wakes up and realizes that this person is not her friend. Brandi is so co-dependent on Stephanie that she is never going to let another person into that circle of two.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
omg! Jem is my name! No-one else is the same! Don't judge me, I loved that cartoon. Personally I think Sheree is nowhere near the fabulosity of Krystle Carrington OR Jem. She looks like the Bride of Frankenstein. It's Frankenreé. Nene's fishtail ain't great but Sheree managed to overshadow Nene's disastrous wig situation -- for now. Speaking of Nene, I'm glad she is back on ATL. I think she will bring the franchise a breath of fresh air. I'm also glad production cut last year's emo background music and we are back to the usual music. Kenya looks glorious. But she seems embarrassed. Embarrassed of her father, embarrassed of her co-workers on this show, embarrassed of the show itself. I can understand why she doesn't want to bring her hubby around them (especially working ho-stroller Porsha), but I also worry that she feels 'lesser than' compared to him and his achievements. I can't stand Porsha and her complaining about Kandi and Nene. How did she makee it into this season with her crocodile tears -- she must be blowing somebody powerful somewhere. I don't even get why she is mad at Nene for giving her good advice about -- duh -- not beating up people you work with, or you might be fired and never rehired! How was Nene in the wrong for holding her hand and breaking the news gently to her? Porsha's an idiot and nasty piece of work and I could have done without her this season. Ugh, Peter. I feel like Cynthia is crawling back to him for some downlow 'friends with benefits' action. You can do better, Cynthia! Speaking of better, the party wasn't exceptional -- I preferred her sunglasses line launch party. And Cynthia usually looks incredible even when she takes chances with her outfits. But that I Dream of Jeannie mess her stylist put her in was a HORROR and he needs to be fired. The criss-cross strapping on her back was BAD. And I say this as someone who believes Cynthia might be the most beautiful HW of all the franchises.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Trust Page Six to oversell the headline. It's co-parenting, not a 'reunion' of their relationship. Still, she is working it to stay on OC. I'm curious to see how she will cope next year. BTW, in addition to Peggy, Lydia and Meghan being fired next season, Kelly can go too. I'm coming to a point where I really don't like her. Either way, OC needs to clean house big-time.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yeah, Michael Beck is all about Kim and the Biermanns. RHoA is a promotional tool for their wretched and devalued brand. I still don't understand why Bravo couldn't have got another POC as EP. I initially thought they wouldn't release the opening credits because Beck and Kim might be lobbying hard for her inclusion at the last minute. Seems like the other HWs and Bravo had different plans. But how mean-minded is he to release the credits but with no taglines?? That is a fit of pique on his part. Don't tell me Bravo is having a hard time choosing taglines -- the Atlanta bunch has the best wordplay and shade of all the franchises. No, this is Michael Beck wanting to mess with fans and show them who is boss, I think. I am nervous about this season. Carlos was not perfect by any stretch, he got fired for a reason, and it was definitely time for a change but... not convinced about this one.

Hollywood Sexual Harrasment/Assault Thread
This thread moves fast so I cannot remember if this interview was posted but its about a man who got into what he terms was a relationship with Kevin Spacey when he was also 14. It's a triggering read but very powerful, in the sense that only upon looking back can he see these predators laying the groundwork for taking advantage of young boys. He still takes on a lot of the blame on himself though, which is devastating to read: I think at one point he says "I was complicit but not complicit." That is the scar that predators and abusers leave right there: the fear in your mind that your abuse was partly or wholly your fault. http://www.vulture.com/2017/11/kevin-spacey-alleged-sexual-relationship.html That Uma response is powerful and shocking, her anger she is trying to keep in check. For a while there, about a decade ago when her acting opportunities started drying up, I was worried because she seemed to be falling into heavy drug dependency and a revolving door of wealthy European boyfriends who were bad news. Hopefully she is in a good place now and able to process these allegations coming to light.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Congrats, Cheap! You created imo one of the best and most fun threads on this board. Thinking about the lack of ATL taglines, I wonder if it is because Michael Beck and Bravo want to give Kim Z a peach and a spot in the opening credits, but most of the HWs don't want her to be an official HW? Obviously I'm just speculating, but it does seem weird that we haven't seen a tagline yet.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'm already struggling with just 3 (OC, Dallas, NJ). One of them is definitely going to fall off my watch list. BH starts in about a month, too. And Kandi has that Xscape show starting right after ATL.

Hollywood Sexual Harrasment/Assault Thread
And the rumor over here with the Old Vic is that not only did they know and turn a blind eye for 10 years, but that KS's reputation preceded him. Apparently he was contractually obligated by the Old Vic not to harass young men at work, i.e.: they wrote it in his contract back in 2005. Allegedly. Now they are playing the 'we are shocked' card.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I enjoyed it too -- though according to Jaqueline's Twitter, I am one of the very few, as apparently ratings are in the toilet without her audience-galvanizing presence! I like the short season and it seems to have a good mix of lightness and toxicity (something NJ has always struggled with). And a dynamic mix of HWs. Surely Siggy cannot blame how she is coming across on shady editing. She is the architect, producer, director and lead actress of her downfall. She is playing up to the cameras so badly. And she has targeted the newbie, who she feels very threatened by. As I said before, crying victim on these shows does not necessarily mean you are instantly transformed into the lead heroine. Siggy is completely tone deaf when it comes to reading the audience. She thinks she is the show's breakout star. And she has let that delusion, fuelled by literally four stans on Twitter, go to her head and fallen for her own hype, hook, line and sinker. She is absolutely nuts. Moreover, watching this week's episode, she STILL doesn't see what we see: http://tamaratattles.com/2017/11/02/margaret-josephs-wins-internet-feud-with-siggy-flicker-with-a-ko/#comments

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
lol ok! And yes I misread your statement the first time. Siggy is definitely in some delusional headspace (right along with Jaq ) where she thinks she makes things HAPPEN on this show. TBH, I could take or leave all the other women and just watch a mini-series featuring Teresa, her daughters and her dad. IMO that is all the drama I need -- the authentic drama of Gia begging Teresa to actually parent and discipline her children, of Teresa actually considering divorcing Joe, or Giacinto seeing pics of his late wife at the pizzeria. I am not someone who thought Siggy was especially cute her first season but this time around she is beyond annoying. I don't know if she realises the wave of anti feeling coming towards her, but it is going to hit her like a tsunami by the time reunion rolls around. There is no reason on earth for her to despise Margaret the way she does. Dolores though... Danielle clearly twisted something she may have said. I can see Dolores's side of things here, even though I'm not against Danielle doing her usual pot-stirring. She may have met her match with Dolores.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Those looks are channelling about six different TV shows. D'Andra - Dallas LeeAnne - Dynasty Kameron - Gossip Girl Brandi - Jersey Shore Stephanie - Melrose Place (specifically Heather Locklear) Cary - Game of Thrones Despite that weird thing over her right breast, I think Stephanie looks the best.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
When LeeAnne learned to let go of the FEEL SORRY FOR ME, I'M IN PAIN TOOOO! stuff and just embrace life with light-heartedness, I was right there with her. Yes, she does go crazy when it comes to Cary (who I also love, for different reasons). These two are oil and water but it makes for a pretty exciting Season 2, with Brandi playing both sides and stirring the pot. Even when LeeAnne goes nuts and gets threatening nowdays, it's so OTT that it is almost comedic. It's LeeAnne the volcano, blowing her top -- and once it is blown, she is back to stuffing her dog in another hot-dog costume (let us never forget that LeeAnne did not go ALONE as a hot dog) or sighing "Why me?" when she got news of a pretty effing scary flesh-eating disease. I am also glad she has love in her life as Rich seems a good fit with her and brings her down to earth. And def the friendship with D'Andra is real. There is no way D'Andra would have made LeeAnne her maid of honor at her private wedding if she didn't consider her a close friend. FYI I didn't know that D'Andra was once a bodybuilder (according to WikiNetWorth)! I'm looking forward to the cameras showing up at 'Jabot' with D'Andra at 9.05am with her mother at reception tapping her expensive watch and saying "Dew yew KNOWWW what taaaaammm it is, Dee Andra?" omg when I saw Lydia stride out with that big foolish grin on her face (and a few extra pounds, it has to be noted, though she always wears her curves phenomenally well) and then Gina caught the baby pacifier.... lol I am ready for those two and Gamble, I tell ya. Chyka will be missed; Pettifleur won't be. I'm ok with Janet, but Jackie can keep talking to her angels about her wine spritzers or whatever that La Mascara mess is. Still, I do enjoy when she tries to play superhero to Lydia's dumb villainess. Lord knows I have enough serums and essences in my life (thank you, Paula's Choice and k-beauty) but I am super tempted to check out this Hard Night, Good Morning 'elixir' ! P.S.: Forgot to mention earlier but Kenya looked and was fabulous in that E News segment. I adored the ways she shaded Kim and her thirsty-ass mini-me Brielle.

The Wendy Williams Thread
SAme I like her too, though she does say some stupid or provocative stuff sometimes. Over the past year I have noticed an air of sadness and distraction about her. I don't think she is happy doing the show as much as she used to be, but at the same time, I think she is holding onto it like a lifeline. I know her long-time hair/wig person died unexpectedly last summer, and she was close with him. That and whatever is happening with her husband, most be stressing her out a great deal. I am hoping she pulls through. There is of course anti-stroke medication that you can take to mitigate the possibility of a major stroke.
